Mixed Feelings
House was excellent to accomodate large groups. They included a bottle of water and chocolates. A full tour and tutorial (coffee maker) was included! Two younger female members of our party checked in first before the rest of the party arrived. The owner knew that the two young women would be alone in the house that night without the rest of the group. At the end of the house tour, the male owner asked the younger female renter for her personal phone number to share local cuisine. Not realizing that all communication was supposed to be through the app, she complied. The male owner did send local cuisine suggestions but also sent a text after midnight that made her uncomfortable. This may have been a cultural issue; however, asking for the phone number, the timing of the text, the fact that the women were alone in the home, and the fact that the owner referenced aspects of a young woman's physical appearance made both members of our party feel uncomfortable.
