Looking for a getaway? Come to Creekside Cabin just outside city limits to test out "Tiny House Living"! All the amenities of home only smaller. This is a great place! Sit by the creek and listen to the water run or cozy up to the "Tiny" wood burning fireplace to get away from it all. We also have a fire pit out front- please bring wood if your wanting to use. This is a 3 level cabin- there is a spiral staircase to get to the 2nd floor which is narrow and maybe challenging for older/ or not so agile folks. The stairs to the 3rd floor are regular stairs and 3rd floor sleeping area has low ceilings that you may not be able to stand up straight. Fun little place to rest your head and if your looking for something different... then this would be the place for you! Situated right on the Minnesota State Snowmobile trails. Trails also great for walking/4 wheeling/ biking. We do have chickens & a dog on our property. You are not alone on this property we live in the house off to the left of the cabin.

Great stay at this cabin just outside Winona. Place was advertised, and was everything expected. Very nice property owner. I would definitely stay here again.
We had a great time in this lovely property. The location was very convenient to town, but you also felt out in the country with all the trees - great star gazing from the balcony!
I absolutely loved my stay, the property was fantastic and Winona is a beautiful place. I was by myself for some solitude and the creekside cabins get away was a great fit.
Weather was better than good for autumn in Minnesota, lots of trails to walk, only disappointment was the main reason we went down, to check out the Maritime Art Museum, not impressed.
This was a nice property, it was disconnected from town to where it felt like you were out of town and where you were away from people. But also it wasn’t far away from town either which was nice.
Close to town but disconnected and peaceful! Really enjoyed sitting by the fire and talking to the ducks as they would strut by, and the chickens too! I can only imagine how awesome it would be to be there during winter and make a fire on the second level! Great GREAT place!
The owner was quick to respond to questions about the property after arrival. The fire place was cozy to relax with a few friends and a bottle of wine. I would stay at this location again in the future.
This wss our 5th stay at this property, it once again did not disappoint. We always enjoy this tiny Gem, Tanya and Family are always Warm and Welcoming. We Especially enjoy all the farm animals and wildlife that we encounter while staying, The entire experience is a peaceful slice of heaven! Bravo!
Wonderful place to stay. Beautiful quiet setting. Charming and comfortable decor and furnishings. Owners went above and beyond to make it a wonderful experience. Even little things were paid attention to such as the key ring having an easy hook to place on your own keys while staying there. Will be my first choice for staying in the Winona area.

Peaceful and Romantic Getaway!
My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time at Creekside Cabin. It's nicely decorated with plenty amenities. The living room with the fireplace on the second floor is lovely! The hosts had stocked the fridge with breakfast food and fresh eggs. We highly recommend this cabin for a romantic or peaceful getaway!
My wife and I wanted to get away for a long weekend so we rented this little cabin nestled in the hillside. It has all of the amenities of home, just a much better view. Tanya and Damon are wonderful hosts, and we felt very welcomed. It is only about 5 minutes from town, which was very convenient. I would definitely recommend this spot if you are looking to be close to town, but out in the country a bit.
Fun little house. We loved the wood burning fireplace. The stairs are a little bit treacherous, so probably wouldn’t recommend for those with mobility issues. The loft is very small.
This is a great little cabin in the woods, conveniently located within a few miles of shopping, restaurants, walks along the lakeside, etc. Reasonably priced as well. A great retreat for a sister's weekend away!! The property is very Peaceful. Having the owner's on site was Bonus for us in our accidental lock-out. They are both very responsive and respectful of space. Very happy with our choice of where to stay!
Great place to use as a home base for day trips. The communication was great, & the hosts are on the larger property. Be prepared for some coming & going by others that live &/or work on the property. You can be in downtown Winona in 5-10 minutes, the river parks in 15. The state park on the bluff is definitely worth a visit if you like short hikes & views.

We sincerely enjoyed the "tiny house" feel of the cabin, perfect for a weekend stay for 2 people. Loved being able to see all the wildlife, as well as interact with the chickens and Jasper the dog. Damon and Tanya were so kind and polite and really gave us room to just rest and enjoy the quiet. Amazing fireworks show for the July 4th holiday, even though they were delayed a day due to rain. We really loved sitting on the second story balcony and just listening to the nature sounds! Clean, quiet, comfortable and affordable. Would definitely do this again! It was also very wonderful that their house rules sheet included a listing of things to do in the area - helpful when you're not from there. Easy parking and access, and just the right distance from town that you can enjoy the quiet.
This place was cute.
Stairs are a challenge, not for older people or young kids.
Wish the TV was located upstairs with the couch or there was an additional TV up there.
The ducks and chicken were great to see.
The acorns dropping on the metal roof sounded like gun fire!
All and all it was a fun experience!

My husband Damon and I were born and raised in Winona,Mn. We have 2 kids Hayden and Harley. Our dog Jasper would love to ge to know you, however he has anxiety over it.
Why they chose this property
****Update**** We just did a major remodel of the cabin so if you have been here before you will love all the upgrades!!! If not, WELCOME! I can’t wait for you to enjoy the new space!
We bought this property approx. 4 years ago... knowing it needed some TLC... however, we couldn't beat the fact it was minutes away from town and had a country like setting. There is a garage located next to the driveway of the cabin where we have a renter and little did we know my really good friends uncle lives there... small world indeed. He still lives there and is a great cook.. :)
What makes this property unique
super close to winona within a 5 min. drive and close to the lake and hiking trails.
