Centrally Located 3 Bed Flat w/ Amazing Terrace & View Of St Pauls! Fam Friendly
This superbly located 2nd and 3rd floor family flat was recently renovated. The top floor living room and kitchen is full of light with an amazing roof terrace and spectacular views of the Shard and St Paul's. Although stylish, the emphasis is still very homely and child friendly (we live in the ground floor flat below most of the year). The bedrooms are all located on the same floor. We have two large bedrooms both with queen beds and very high quality mattresses. One bedroom is with an ensuite shower and WC. There is a third bedroom with double bed and again good quality mattress. All our linen is 100% cotton. On the next Mezzanine floor up there is a bathroom with tub and shower and WC. On the top floor is the kitchen, living room and terrace.

Lovely view of St. Paul’s from the patio- great option for families. Not posh but very comfortable. Hostess kind, communicative, and attentive. Strongly recommended.
This home was absolutely perfect for my family and I. It was in a great established neighborhood with easy access to the Kings Cross and Angel Stations (and thus London!) and offered everything we needed and nothing we didn't in a home-stay for a bit better than a week. The outside terrace was 2nd to none, as was the kitchen-living space. We can't speak highly enough of Emily and would not only stay here again, but have already been recommending her place to others journeying to London. 5-stars across the board.
We came to go to live theatre and sightsee. This property is well located to easily do that. The bus service is great and easy to access. Interesting and good restaurants within easy walking distance. Mostly the neighborhood is quiet. The property itself is the kind of property that makes up a lot of the core of residential London. Row house with four levels of some indeterminate age but a lot older than anything I've lived in. That is part of its charm. The bathrooms amenities are modern. Hi-speed internet worked well. The kitchen worked for us as we wanted to eat breakfast there everyday. Easy walking distance to small grocery store. The washing machine is small and hidden but it worked well. If you have problems with steps I'm not sure this place will work for you as the bedrooms and the common space are on the third and fourth floor respectively. That said, the view through the french doors of the common space on to the charming deck allows you to view the dome of St. Paul's (which it lit up at night!) and the Shard. I grew very fond of staring out at that sight. Emily, our host, was very friendly and helpful and made it clear that she was happy to answer questions. There were four of us and we all agreed we enjoyed this space and it served as "home" and refuge for our busy eight night stay. I recommend this place without reservation. Yes, I would stay here again.
Absolutely perfect !! So close to the underground and all the shops, restaurants, etc that you need. The flat was beautiful and the host was so very nice. If ever we had a question she always replied promptly. If ever I am back in London would definitely stay here again. Worked wonderfully for a group of 3 ladies, everyone had their own bedroom and the rooftop terrace was perfect for sitting out at night after a long day of sightseeing. Kitchen had everything we needed. I highly recommend this flat for your London stay !!
The apt was just as advertised. Modern baths, comfortable beds The outdoor deck would have been even better had the weather been a bit warmer. There are A LOT of steps, somewhat steep and narrow often without a hand rail. The washing machine, a key element on our travels, worked just fine, although it is hidden! Hosts were great; left us alone, answered questions, and provided a nice map of the neighborhood.
Great space. Clean, spacious, great view from rooftop deck. Check in and hospitality from hosts was top notch. Location is great. Walkable to all major sites and neighbourhoods or easy cab ride. Local neighbourhood has charm and character with good options for coffee shops, restaurants and pubs.
A taste of London in comfort and convenience with an inspiring view
We traveled to London with two teenaged grandchildren and felt right at home in this very clean and comfortable apartment spread over several floors.(As in many British homes there are internal stairs) Because we arrived on the 25th of December, the owner helped us arrange transportation and generously left us groceries. We loved watching the sunrise and sunset over the balcony. We also enjoyed shopping in the neighborhood.--there's a street market nearby and small shops. Despite the rain and cold outside, the apartment was cozy and warm. The kitchen had everything we could want. Although this isn't in the very heart of London, it's walking distance from the British Museum and the Postal Museum and a short ride from everywhere else, including the Emirates Stadium. We liked having the 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms--one with a heated towel rack and both with excellent showers. A special experience for all.
We had a great experience with this property. We were an international arrival and when the airlines changed schedules they were very accommodating. It was very clean, Very comfortable. My wife and I were there with some adult children and it suited everyone. It was short walk to the tube stop and even shorter to bus routes. The hosts suggested several dining options which were spot on. We would stay there again if the opportunity arises.
The property was very nice. Better than advertised. Good location right near a bus stop and less than 15 min. walk to Kings Cross. We would definitely stay here again.
Gorgeous London Flat in Beautiful Quiet Neighborhood
This was our first time staying in a privately owned flat in London instead of a hotel or hotel-like rental. It was gorgeous! It's small for the 5 people we had (we are American, please don't hold that against us) but perfectly appointed and we really did have plenty of space. Everything we needed was there plus we enjoyed London from a beautiful 2 floor home away from home that I could have moved into permanently quite happily. The view from the balcony was amazing. Hearing the bells of St Paul's in the middle of my meditation practice is a memory I won't soon forgot. On top of it all, our hosts were lovely! Next time we are in London, we plan to get the same rental.
Great location! Perfect for our family of 5 adults.
We were a family of 5 adults and our stay was perfect. Location is really, really good. In Zone 1, less than 10 min walk to Angel tube, where several grocery stores, restaurants, coffee shops, shopping, and pubs are close by. Less than 15 mins walk in opposite direction is Kings Cross/St. Pancras. And less than 5 mins to a couple bus lines that take you anywhere into the city. Between us we used Apple and Google maps and citymapper app to get all over. We couldn't get cab app to work as we didn't have a credit card tied to a UK address. But was easy to get an Uber a couple times once we got the app to work.
Comfortable beds, very comfortable for 5 adults (I think 6 might have been pushing it - the 3rd bedroom was just fine for 1 person but would have been a squish if we had a 6th person).
Kitchen stocked well enough to prep easy meals.
Outside sitting roof terrace area just off the sitting room was really nice.
It was super hot when we visited (in the upper 80s, almost 90 degree fahrenheit), but cooled off enough at night to be able to sleep.
Very nice flat with everything we needed for our stay in the city. Good space with an exceptional terrace that we enjoyed daily. Good access to places to shop and eat within a short distance. Also great access to public transportation. But the owner Emily made this a great stay -very accessible and worked with our schedule. Thank you!!!
The location of this place is perfect, the property is lovely, and the hosts were very responsive to anything we needed or wanted. We’d highly recommend this property.
Excellent location in a very quiet spot in the middle of London. Really enjoyed the view of the Shard and St. Paul’s Cathedral. Accommodations were comfortable and everything we needed was available. The kitchen well equipped with high quality appliances, pots and pans.
We had an excellent time staying at Emily’s apartment! The apartment itself is wonderful and conveniently located, and Emily was friendly and ensured that we had everything we needed for our trip. I would definitely recommend the apartment for anyone traveling to London.
Great apartment with view of the city, comfortable accommodations, and friendly and helpful hosts. 5 of us stayed for 10 days over the Christmas holiday. We had plenty of room, great access to public transport, terrific neighborhood, well supplied kitchen, and clean, comfortable space for all. I highly recommend this property - we had a terrific time in London staying here.
Emily is a great host and always helped us when we needed her
Excellent apartment with a lot of character that looks even better than what you see in the pictures
In addition, the apartment is located in a very central location and only 10 min walk from the tube station
We enjoyed our stay despite some very warm weather while we were there. Like most London residences it did not have air conditioning, but was it was unusually hot during our stay. We still enjoyed the property especially the outdoor area with the wonderful view of the city. We would definitely consider renting this flat again.
My two grown children and I really enjoyed our stay. The terrace is a tonic for the soul and the location is wonderful— in a quiet residential neighborhood but an easy walk to so much. Highly recommended.
Easy to find. Easy to get to. Lovely stopping station in London. Very comfortable for our extended family of 6.

Tight space, but excellent location and neighborhood
The property manager was really great. She allowed us to drop our bags earlier in the day, which was very helpful. The flat is traditional London. Felt like we were transported back in time.
