1 Bedroom Oceanfront Condo in The Riggings!

An ocean trip experience you won’t forget! Stepping out on the deck of "Brennan's on the Shore" will take your breath away with one of the best views from The Riggings complex on the southern end of Pleasure Island. This third floor walk-up condo is unique and equipped with all the basic house amenities you will need.

"Brennan's on the Shore" has the accommodations to sleep 6 with a Queen in the primary bedroom, a Twin bunk in the hall alcove and a sleeper sofa as well. The living room includes a TV with cable and Wi-Fi for your use.

There is assigned parking for 1 car near the unit and 1 additional space in the overflow lot across the street from the complex. Enjoy a swim in the oceanfront pool or a stroll on the beach, using the private beach access for guests of The Riggings. The beach re-nourishment project prohibits any one walking or sitting on the sand bags, they protect our beach.

At the Riggings Condos in Kure Beach, NC, enjoy a quiet escape in a one-bedroom condo with direct beach access. Located on the far south end of Pleasure Island in Kure Beach, this complex is near Fort Fisher aquarium and historic Civil War battlegrounds, and offers a private pool.

This unit is just a short driving distance to the NC Aquarium and Fort Fisher Museum. Enjoy the 30-minute ferry ride over to the quaint little city of South Port. Even though you are down on the end of the island in peace and quiet, you aren’t far away from the Kure Beach Pier or the Carolina Beach Boardwalk.

*Please keep in mind that if you are renting a property with a pool during the off-season, it may not be open or available. Pools are usually open from mid- May to September, but dates can vary based on weather, permits, HOA guidelines, inspections, improvements, and unforeseen events. For more detailed information on specific pools, please feel free to contact our office.

Absolutely beautiful location

Just what my husband and I needed, peaceful and absolutely breathtaking view, no hustle and bustle, the coquina outcrop was an amazing site to see, along with the state park 4x4 beach, we loved the aquarium, my husband loves all things aquatic, perfect getaway for the two of us

Wonderful Weekend

A beautiful property with an amazing view. We stayed on the 3rd floor. The beach was great during the day, and the full moon rise over the ocean at night was breathtaking. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent location

This condo has the best view on the beach. It had everything you could need. However, the mattresses need to be replaced. And it is advertised as having a queen bed in the bedroom, but I believe it's a double.

At low tide you can walk down the beach among the barrier rocks and into the state park picking for shells.Other activities require a bike trip or short drive. State park, national historical site, and aquarium are a walk/bike ride away. Shopping, restaurants a short drive. Went with my 2 kids (early teens) and it was perfect for us.

Wallpaper peeling off the walls, couch and area rug deeply dirty, bed squeaks every time you move and is uncomfortable, comforters have stains on them. We loved the view and location but that is what you are paying for. Unfortunately there is a cleaning fee and fees to be paid to the property management team. There was an ant infestation on the kitchen counters and clearly the cleaning team was not cleaning behind the toilet. There was no flexibility with check in time and we waited outside the rental management office in the rain for our parking pass, no flexibility as they sat behind locked doors. Again, great view but ridiculous fees.

Okay stay but will pick a different property next time

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The overall stay was okay, I have rented from this company before with no issues. This unit however I would not rent again unless some simple updates are done. The dryer needs replacing (desperately), the bunk bed ladder was broken, the kitchen utensils were so cheap they were barely functional (can opener, silverware, knives). These are very inexpensive fixes that the owner should address immediately. The queen mattress also needs replacing and the bathroom vanity drawers are warped and are difficult to open. I didn’t complain about these issues during my stay because frankly I don’t expect rentals to be perfect—but these issues need to be addressed before I would rent again. I’ve stayed in other units in this complex that were better equipped.
