We had a great stay here between days at Wild Adventure. So close to Downtown area and anything else you may need. Kids had a great time in the back yard and we felt safe knowing its fenced in. Old house but we enjoyed it very much.
The home is old and has lots of character and charm. It was clean and well decorated. So many chairs in the home. It’s does need some repairs but that’s to be expected with a house that old.
The heat pump quit working Tuesday evening. The house temperature dropped to 57* with 32* temperatures outside. At 12.50 (midnight) Tuesday p.m. I called Elena. Repair person came Wed. p.m., the warmth failed again Wed. night. 61* Repair person again Thursday morning because the temperature was only 66*. Overnight Thursday and Friday a.m. - only 65*. At that point I called and told Elena we were leaving. She has charged us for 14 days. We were there 5!! Guess we were supposed to be cold all the time and take cold showers in tubs that should have height and accessibility warnings.Even our dogs had coats on all day.
The home was perfect while we were in town for VSU graduation. There was plenty of room to have a small gathering. Check in and out was easy and host is quick to respond to any questions. Would recommend if yor are in the area.
We really enjoyed our stay. The internet was great, beds were super comfortable, yard was perfect for our doggies, and the coffee and treats were extra special!! Great for adults and for a stay on your way north or south!
We enjoyed our time in this pet friendly home. It had a lot of charm and character and was very clean. We couldn’t stay as we had to move on to our North Ga cabin but Valdosta was a great midway point driving from South Florida. It was close to the railroad tracks but not too loud.
We arrived late and just slept, left first thing next morning, it was comfortable and nice and clean. House is classic older home that has been updated nicely. It is not some cookie cutter built new home, but has the design and personality of a traditional southern home. From tall ceilings to 12" baseboards and original wood floors, it has character. We enjoyed our short visit and rested well.
We were investigating this property for future family gatherings. It will be perfect for us in the future. I recommend the property.

Nice for an overnight
Pleasant overnight stay. Some improvements needed to the backyard, but nice enough. Both bathtubs are extremely tall and are hard to get in out of. Comfortable beds.
This was our second visit to this home. Great older home close-by to lots of downtown attractions but still a quiet neighborhood. Beautiful three bedrooms, large dining room, fenced backyard. Lots of space for everyone to enjoy. Great home base while visiting many relatives in the area. Would definitely book again!
This was a beautiful, older home with modern features. The tubs were a little hard to get in and out of, but there were no real complaints. It was clean and perfect for our one night stay on our way to Florida.
House was the perfect size, great back yard equipped with toys for the kids! We had trouble with the living room TV, but Elana was incredibly helpful. She responded quickly and was able to troubleshoot the issues over the phone. Very clean and well-stocked. Would definitely stay here again!!

Could be better
The house was comfortable but a few extra touches would’ve made it perfect.
The house was equipped with appliances and kitchen needs, and decor was neat. Tubs are a problem for the elderly. The home is in need of a deep cleaning. The light globes and fans are really dusty and is a little rough on the allergies.

We enjoyed our stay at this historic home.
I would rate this five stars except the amenities were misrepresented as follows:
3 Bedrooms, Sleeps 8
Bedroom 1 - 1 queen , Private Bathroom
Bedroom 2 - 1 queen
Bedroom 3 - 1 queen
One bedroom has a full versus queen. There were three couples staying and it caused minor discomfort for the ones that slept in that room.
