The space
Located in a diverse but quiet and safe neighborhood with central access to all of New Orleans. The beautiful 1st floor apartment has a dining room and living room, fully stocked kitchen, with dishes, cookware etc. and a electric stove. Fully renovated bathrooms, private backyard, one garage car space and one off street parking spot (plenty of street parking as well) and window units.

Interaction with guests
We greet guests for check-in as often as possible, but also provide self-check-in to accommodate late night and week-end arrivals.

It is a fully separate home for you to enjoy. My husband and I live upstairs and we love to give recommendations about what to eat and where to go, but leave you to have your privacy.

Other things to note
The location is one block from the largest Mardi Gras parade Endymion. It is exactly 1 mile from the famous Jazz and Heritage Festival, 1.6 miles from the French Quarter, and 1 mile from City Park.

The house has a private garage for one car and there is also plenty of off street parking.

Great Location; Poor Communication by Host

This stay is in a great location however there are some inaccuracies with the quality of the furniture/appliances as listed. The garage door does not work electrically as stated in the description. The pullout couch bed is broken and unusable - when mentioned to the host on night 1 of our stay we never got a response. The provided wifi is also very slow.also be aware you may run out of hot water depending on the size of your group and timing with showers, water use, etc.

What a great apartment

What a great ground floor apartment! This was a lovely, clean, big round floor apartment, had coffee and tea available, so we didn't need to shop for much for our 4 night stay. The whole place is nice and clean, lounge/kithcen is really nice and big, bedrooms are bigs as well and each has a nice en-suite, beds were comfy and the towels were super soft. There is a small patio at the back and although the garage door seems to look quite small I got my VW Atlas SUV rental in it easily. Location wise it was great, it was always quiet and is only a couple of streets away from Canal Street where you can get the tram into town. I can also recommend the Neyows Creole Cafe nearby, great food and atmosphere and is about a 10 minute walk away. Cio the owner is quick to respond to any messages and was extremely helpful.

Clean, pet friendly with a couple issues.

I would love to give this place 5 stars but there were a couple issues. First, I will say for the most part the house was clean. (Expect for the mold on the shower windows and gnats flying around.) Secondly, it is just a five minute drive to the downtown area. Or just a block worth of walking to one of the Train carts. It’s right across from a school which caused no issues at all. The garage is a very tight squeeze so you better be good at parking in tight spots but it was very convenient and saved us from additional worry about our car. If you are staying in one of the lower apartments, just know that you will hear people walking above you..... day and NIGHT. The small outside patio was very cute and shields you from the sun. If your bringing a dog just note there is no grass for the dog to use on the property. You will have to walk him/her out front. The bedrooms were cute and the bedding seemed clean. However, the pillow cases had stains on them. The one bed had planks under the mattress (which I don’t believe the frame was made for) so every movement you made durning the night caused the planks to fall. Which obviously made a very loud noise waking everyone in the house up. Not to mention the person sleeping in the bed would also find themselves in a hole. Due to us being there for just a few days for a wedding, we didn’t have much time to contact the owners about this issue (to be fair). When we did contact the owner about the steamer not working, she did bring one over as soon as she could that evening. Which came in handy for the wedding but not so much the rehearsal dinner. I will say the house is pretty clean for being dog friendly. I didn’t see one dog hair in the place!

Great apartment, exactly as you see it on photos.

Conveniently located close to the streetcar. Two and a half bathroom is great. We were 6 adults and the place was comfortable. The owner is amazing, Nice, very polite and knowledgeable young lady. I would recommend this place to all my friends. The garage is a very good feature also, but the area is safe for cars to park outside. Thank you Cio, it was a pleasure to meet you, Gina Sorry, we have deleted your address, you promised to send it to me for the pillow.

Best place we could have crashed for Voodoo Fest 2018

Can I stay forever? This place had everything that we needed and then some to help make our stay top notch. It felt like we were in a private home even though it is the entire bottom floor of a beautiful, classic NOLA home. We sat outside and enjoyed the back porch a ton (the weather was unreal). We were able to walk to great restaurants and bars and to City Park for the festival (when we weren't exhausted, in which case we grabbed a lyft or a taxi for a short ride). We slept 6 very comfortably here (even the couch was a great place to rest our sleepy heads and tired feet) Our hosts were very responsive and helpful! Would absolutely stay here again. New Orleans always hits the spot!

Great place for family of 5

My wife and kids stayed at this great apartment for a couple of nights to enjoy the culture and food of New Orleans. This place had everything we needed and is located a couple of blocks from Canal St. We didn't have to use our car the entire time during our stay. Everything was either within walking distance or we took the railcars into the French Quarter. Cio was a gracious host and provided the little things to make our stay a pleasant one (ie. recommendations, coffee/filter, snacks, etc.). We highly recommend this place for a stay in New Orleans and will def consider this again if wife and I come back to see more of this lovely city.

Wonderful stay! Couldn't have been better!!

The unit was exactly as described and pictured. Hosts were wonderful - not intrusive at all but available if any questions. We were in town for the Essence Festival and couldn't have had a more convenient location. The unit had everything needed and was very very clean! Made our entire trip perfect!!

Just right!

Husband and I stayed here with another couple. Two queen beds, and a fold out couch with 2.5 bathrooms. We arrived to check in and as soon as we opened the door could tell it had just been cleaned before we got there. Super cute place and we loved that there was a garage so we didn’t have to park on the street. Driving distance (15 min or less) to the French quarter, marketplace, riverwalk, literally anywhere you want to go. We had an amazing stay!!

We will be back!

It was a wonderful stay for my family. Places to gather and space to spread out. Very clean and very comfortable. Able to get out for a run and felt safe in the neighborhood and nearby park. Owners were friendly and accommodating. We had a memorable weekend!!
