I so enjoyed this and I'm thankful you share this amazing property! It was the best relaxation we've had in years. The waves crashing right in front of us with a fire going...nothing better! I loved the retro vibe and all necessities provided. I can't wait to go back!
My husband and I went to the Mendocino coast to celebrate our anniversary. The place was clean and cozy. It had a lovely view of the ocean from the back window.
The property had a spectacular view. It was down a long driveway, going in in the dark was difficult for the obvious reason. It could use reflectors to help people find it in the dark. It was a great stay.

“Uncomfortable as can be”
The view was absolutely beautiful! That’s it! The furniture was super uncomfortable, we couldn’t sit in the chairs and even the sofa was uncomfortable. They absolutely need new furniture. The mattress was too soft, we ended up sleeping in our sleeping bags on the floor in the front room. They were going for a mid-century modern vibe, but I think they should have gone for comfort.
This little piece of paradise is absolutely lovely, sweet cabin, clean and well taken care of. Private and beautiful grounds! The view! One never wants to leave!
Raul’s midcentury guesthouse is absolutely to die for! we stayed a single night, but look forward to coming back very soon for a longer stay! The house is quaint and decked out in ‘Mad Men-esque’ furnishings. The location and view is unparalleled.
This place was perfect for the two of us and our 2 small dogs. It had enough space to hangout at the end of the day, sleep, shower, and cook a few small items inside or out. The best part was being away from everything and having that outside area to look at the view and just relax.
This place is clean and so comfortable! The breakers are aqua and mesmerizing. I cant remember when I have felt this relaxed and stress free! Everything we need is there. We will definitely come back and spend more days next time!
The veiw was spectacular. Definitely worth the money just for that. The kitchen was a little lacking. There was very little supplies, but was still usable.
Beautiful ocean view. Love the deck and patio with the fire pit. Tiny kitchen limited food options. TV remote did not work. We look forward to returning.
Small 1 BR semi-rustic bungalow. Had everything we needed. Dirt/gravel road to property is very long, narrow and winding. Not bad in the day time. Very private and just fabulous for sitting on the deck watching the waves crash or star gazing at night! Hidden gem.
VRBO showcased the home and land accurately. The view was outstanding and home area was very quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed the deck with patio and fire pit overlooking the ocean bluff. The kitchenette was perfect for us since we went to our favorite restaurants in the area. Our 2 dogs loved the grassy area in front of home. Perfect rusty retreat!
