Useful lift, very quiet, lovely view

The first impression we got from the property was the amazing view over the azure sea,the dramatic cliffs and mountains. The house was clean the furniture and beds were comfortable. As one of us was disabled we found it particularly useful to have a lift.It was also handy to be able to hire a garage nearby to park the car in. Priano is a charming place with a few shops close at hand and several restaurants and bars to choose from. There are many beautiful and exciting places to visit nearby. Johan Maendl

Nice stay in Praiano

The House of Lemons was a great place to stay for our family. The property is on the second floor but there’s an elevator down to the street, which was very helpful. The communication with the owner was great - they were very responsive to questions and inquiries. I wish the outside space was a little bigger or that there were lounge chairs to enjoy the amazing view. But there is a table and four chairs we used for breakfast or take-away pizza. There is a bit of an issue with some plaster coming off the ceiling in the main bedroom but that was a minor inconvenience. We appreciated the kitchen and washing machine. Overall, we enjoyed the house and it’s quiet reprieve from Amalfi and Positano.

Beautiful appartment with a gorgeous view on the Sorrento peninsula and Capri island

The appartment is very nice and the house is fantastic. The view is extraordinary and there is additionally a little patio in which one can relax. Besides a garage is available which we found necessary. But in end-december the flat was really very humid . That's why we would recommend to rent it during the dry season.

Gorgeous place to explore the Amalfi coast... with a view to die for!!!

The apartment itself is fabulous, really roomy and spotlessly clean. The really incredible thing about this apartment is the location and of course, the view!!! Praiano is perfectly located to visit all of the Amalfi coast, while not being overcome by Tourists, like Positano and Amalfi. The location of this apartment allows you to see Positano in all its splendor from your huge private balcony. The best spot to come back to in the evening and watch the light change and the lights come on in Positano. This apartment is right near One Fire Beach (not Praia)... just important to know. Praia is easily accessible on foot (about 2.5kms I think) or on the local bus for just over a euro. Enjoy!!

Es hätte das Ganze aufgerundet, wenn die Möglichkeit zur Mitbenutzung des Pools bestanden hätte(auch wenn zeitlich begrenzt).

Absolutely gorgeous

The pictures of this property are a true representation. The views are magnificent and it is close to shops and wonderful restaurants. We even received a basket of fresh veggies, lemons and limoncello that was so delicious! Thanks for a wonderful stay. Would recommend to anyone!

Schöne Ferienwohnung in guter Lage.

Sehr schöner Ausblick über Meer, Küste und Inseln. Saubere Unterkunft. Gute Betten. Ruhig gelegen. Fahrstuhl erspart Felsenaufstieg. Kein Parkplatz, daher ggf. einige hundert Meter entferntes Parken. Sehr freundlicher und angenehmer Kontakt zum Vermieter.

The property is well situated in Praiano, convenient for bars, shops, restaurants and beach.

We visited Praiano in July 2018. After a 90 minute taxi ride from Naples airport we were met outside the property by Gaia (Luigi’s daughter) who was lovely and spoke perfect English. The apartment was ideal for our family of four. It was clean and tidy and reasonably well equipped. The view from the balcony is absolutely stunning. It’s a bit of a trek to the beach but for a couple of quid, the beaches in nearby Positano and Amalfi are easily reached by bus. Praiano has plenty of bars and restaurants but be prepared to pay more than you would in the UK - Oftentimes our bill for 4 main courses and 4 drinks was the best part of 100 Euros. That said, the Amalfi Coast is well worth a visit. Would recommend visiting Amalfi, Positano, taking a boat to Capri and of course visiting Pompeii. If you’re feeling fit try ‘the walk of the gods’ - it starts right outside the apartment.

Exactly As Described!

Stayed here for 5 nights in June 2016. We are a family of four, two adults and two teenagers. The apartment was perfect for us. We were very happy with our decision to stay in Praiano instead of Positano or Amalfi. It is easy to get to other the other towns, but we appreciated the quiet and calm of Praiano at the end of the day. You can easily walk to several restaurants from the apartment. We especially enjoyed La Strada and Che Bonta (dine in or take away). There is a grocery store close by where we shopped every day. The tourist information center is close as well. We found everyone in the town to be welcoming and friendly. The view from the apartment is amazing! The apartment itself is spacious and clean. We used the washing machine twice and there is a drying rack that we set out on the private patio for our clothes to dry. Luigi was very easy to work with. Although we never met him, he was always quick to respond to my emails and texts. I definitely recommend House of Lemons as I know we'll return again.

Ein toller Urlaub an der Amalfiküste

Wir verbrachten die erste Septemberwoche in Praiano. Die Ferienwohnung war dank der guten Beschreibung durch den Vermieter leicht zu finden, die Begrüßung sehr freundlich. Wir sind froh gewesen, den Vermieter vorab nach einem Parkplatz zu fragen, den er für uns dann organisiert hatte. Parkmöglichkeiten sind an der Amalfiküste sehr rar. Unseren Mietwagen durften wir auf dem Grundstück einer netten Signora abstellen, unweit vom "House of Lemons" entfernt. Die Wohnung machte einen sehr hochwertigen Eindruck und war mit allen Annehmlichkeiten ausgestattet. Es fehlte uns an nichts :-). In natura war sie sogar noch schöner, als die Bilder hier vermuten ließen. Den grandiosen Ausblick von der Terrasse auf Meer und Positano muß man selber gesehen haben, dass können Fotos gar nicht so zum Ausdruck bringen. Der Kontakt zu Luigi ist sehr freundlich gewesen, ab und an standen kleine Aufmerksamkeiten wie Tomaten samt Basilikum aus dem eigenen Garten und Feigen vor der Wohnungstür. Wir hatten den "Luxus", mit einem kleinen Aufzug die Ferienwohnung zu erreichen. Zu Fuß sind es ca. 50 Treppenstufen gewesen. Wir haben eine tolle Urlaubswoche in Praiano genossen und können das House of Lemons gern weiterempfehlen. Im Ristorante "La Brace" direkt im Haus haben wir sowohl köstlich gespeist, als auch leckere Pizza mit nach oben genommen. Viele Grüße von David, Mandy & Tobi

Ein Sommer an der Amalfiküste

In diesem Sommer verbrachten wir (3 Personen )in der Unterkunft "House of Lemons" 2 Wochen. Zustand und Ausstattung waren ausgezeichnet und wie auf den Bildern dargestellt. Auch die Lage der Wohnung entsprach unseren Vorstellungen. Allerdings könnte die Anfahrt besser beschrieben werden. Ansonsten war alles vorbildlich und wird würden die Wohnung sofort wieder buchen.

Wonderful place, wonderful owners

Our family of 4 stayed here for 6 nights, and absolutely loved it. The apartment is clean, comfortable, spacious, and very accessible. It has a beautiful view of the coast and Positano. It is right off the main Amalfi coast highway so you don't have to climb up or down, and walking distance to shops, restaurants, beach, and right at the bus stop to everywhere. Unlike most properties in Amalfi coast, it has an elevator to the apartment so you don't have to drag you baggage up so many uneven steps. It's a prefect place if you want to visit other towns but avoid the touristy crowds and traffic in Positano. This is the next town over from Positano. The owner, Luigi and his family, are very helpful, courteous, and friendly. They make sure you are comfortable and help you with planning your visit. If you are driving with your own car, let them know ahead of time so that they can arrange a parking space. Consider taking public transport to here since driving to/from here is a big challenge and time consuming during high season.

Appartamento grazioso e confortevole

Appartamento molto grazioso e confortevole. Sono stato con la mia famiglia ( io,moglie e  2 figli ) in questa "casa dei limoni" di Praiano.Un appartamento davvero bello, arredato con gusto, dotato di aria condizionata ed arredato con molta cura dai proprietari, persone gentilissime.Non dimentico certo di commentare la vista mare che si gode da tutto l'appartamento e dal balcone, vista a 180 gradi sulla costa, con a destra Positano ed al centro, sullo sfondo, i faraglioni di Capri. Casa posta esattamente a meta' strada rispetto alla Costiera Amalfitana, quindi posizione strategica per poter visitare i migliori paesi della Costiera stessa, compresi Amalfi e Ravello.Vacanza di una settimana ad inizio luglio con piccola raccolta di limoni direttamente dal giardino, che funge anche da solarium. Come su tutta la costiera, vi e' la difficoltà di posteggiare l'auto, ma tutto sommato non e' così difficile trovare posto, persino gratis. Ora due considerazioni oggettive, la prima "brutta", vi sono 70 gradini per arrivare al piano casa, che per la zona sono anche pochi,  ma la seconda considerazione e' che vi e' l' ascensore, si avete capito bene, un bellissimo ascensore scavato nella roccia che vi porta direttamente in casa........... Che dire ora.......buone vacanze a tutti Voi.

"Appartement très agréable avec une belle vue, très propre et coquet. L''équipement est conforme à la description, sauf le bain à remous et jaccuzzi qui n''existe pas dans l''appartement, mais peut-être dans une autre partie de la maison, nous n''avons pas demandé. L''environnement est agréable, jardins et terrasse, les autres parties de la grande maison sont habitées par la famille qui est très accueillante et prévenante. L''accès aux petits commerces est rapide et aisé. Pas de garage prévu avec la location et il est très difficile de se garer. Penser à demander au propriètaire de vous réserver une place de parking dans le voisinage au moment de la réservation."

Beautiful apartment in a great location

My mother and I stayed here for 5 nights in September and absolutely loved it. The apartment was immaculate, with wonderful views and everything you could need, right near the village center. Luigi, the owner, was very kind and well-organized. The apartment even has a lift, which is great if you need a break from all the stairs! Our only problem was we wished we had stayed longer.... We hope to return soon :)
