Welcome to your home away from home! This one story house is perfect for a family vacation, romantic getaway, a girls weekend or a comfortable home on a business trip. 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, open kitchen that looks out onto the pool in the spacious fenced in backyard. The 3 bedrooms all have 1 Queen bed each, all with seasonally appropriate bedding.
The kitchen is fully equipped and has everything you could need for cooking a feast or nibbling on a charcuterie board in the private backyard. There is a Weber grill in the back with the cooking implements if you desire to have a cookout! The walls are filled with eclectic art and the house is artful and colorful. There is wifi and Apple TV in the living area and the main bedroom. Hardwood floors in the bedrooms with area rugs and travertine in the rest of the house.
There is an outside area that has an upstairs and downstairs and is just used for storage and a design studio. No one lives there and it is not part of the rental.
Austin is such a vibrant, fun city; from the up and coming dining, to funky cafes, to intimate coffee houses and hole-in-the-wall bars, it has quickly grown into one of the most popular vacation spots in the country. Just a hop and skip from Zilker Park, buzzing South Congress Avenue, bat viewing on Congress Bridge, and Lady Bird Lake trail, we want your stay to be as fun and comfortable as possible. We hope this house will be your home away from home!

Great girls weekend away!

My friends and I had a lovely time at Trish’s home! She even put up some decorations for my birthday. Space was perfect for the three of us, and one of the days was nice enough that we lounged out by the pool. The location is close to downtown, but quiet enough that you don’t hear anything at night. Kitchen is equipped with everything you could need to eat meals at home or even cook. The house is super cute and decorated in such a fun manner. I would highly recommend staying here again!

Great location and house

We had a great time staying with our son and another family with their son. Kids loved playing in the backyard. The house was clean and great for the group, and we enjoyed walking to get coffee and tacos!

4th of July Celebration of Life

This property is absolutely fantastic. A close friend of ours passed last month and his birthday was 4th of july. We had the best time celebrating his life while grilling by the pool. The house is beautiful and unique. The entire vibe of the house is just perfect. Everything was spotless, smelled amazing and just felt like home. Not to mention, Trish is the nicest woman on the planet. If you’re wondering where to stay in Austin, this would be my number one choice 100%.

Beyond Impressed!

The location of this property, huge backyard, and amazing pool were 10/10 but what really impressed us all was the super eclectic decor, attention to detail and the amount of necessities provided! Everywhere we looked we saw another piece of art and there were full size medications/beauty products and even antique serve/glassware! The communication process couldn't have been easier and the super comfy beds didn't hurt! Couldn't recommend a better place for a group trip!

Lovely girls weekend!

My girlfriends and I had such a lovely weekend staying here! The neighborhood is gorgeous and not too far from downtown and the house itself is so much fun with all of the unique art and decor. It feels homey and elevated with lots of character. Trish was a great host - easy to communicate with and went above answering my questions. Would highly recommend staying here with your girls!

First time in Austin

I can’t say enough good things about our stay in Trish’s BEAUTIFUL home!! We loved the eclectic decor, everywhere you look there’s another treasure to marvel at. The outdoor area is devine, the beds are comfortable, plenty of space to spread out, and all of the little details made our stay stress-less! We would absolutely stay here again. We enjoyed the quick Uber to downtown and also the walk to get pizza and poke right at the end of the neighborhood. The area is quiet and away from the hustle of downtown but still convenient to everything.

Trish was so easy to get in contact with! Her house was amazing, so clean, spacious, and well-decorated. Also, the biggest plus was the extra closet filled with anything you might need. Amazing Week In Austin

My family spent a week in Austin visiting with friends. Trish's house was the perfect place for us to relax and enjoy the city. My kids spent hours in the pool and we loved the open flow of the home.

Girls weekend getaway

Just had an amazing weekend getaway stay at this property. Trish was a wonderful and very accommodating host. She has the house stocked with anything and everything you may need. Quiet neighborhood and gorgeous house, we were all obsessed with the decor!! Easy Ubers to downtown and hot spots. Pool was great and everyone had a fantastic time. Thanks Trish!

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful visit in this beautiful home and our thanks to Trish for sharing her home with us .. The accommodation really suited our family and the pool was a huge asset. It was in an ideal location and we were able to explore all the different amenities nearby such as Barton Creek . We also explored Austin itself and did the Austin Duck Tour which I would recommend. I would highly recommend this property

Love this home and neighborhood

We enjoyed the beautiful and quiet back yard and the swimming pool. The house is a gem with color and art everywhere. Everything and anything we needed in the kitchen and the rest of the house was considerately supplied by the owner.

Home Away From Home

The description says home away from home and this place truthfully does not disappoint! This home has everything you need and more! Traveling from out-of-town Trish made our group feel right at home! This house really has it all! From coffee with cream and sugar, every cooking utensil you may possibly need to bedding, bath and pool towels, which makes traveling from out-of-town that much more convenient. The pool is the perfect place to hang out during the day and chill in at night. The house also has pool floats and ample outdoor furniture, leaving our group of 8 plenty of places to chill. It is in a nice neighborhood not far from Downtown Austin or the airport, making getting around by Uber/Lyft very easy. The house was very clean and honestly even better than the pictures! Our group would recommend staying here!

Why they chose this property

This house is definitely unique and might not be for everyone! I have eclectic taste and love to decorate with found objects, treasures from thrift stores and heirloom pieces from both my grandmother's and mother's estates.
I move things around, and in and out. Sometimes I sell things, sometimes they go to a girlfriend who thinks she's going to die without it.
The front entry is jewel box pink which makes me happy and I hope it makes you happy too. Paint is such a fast, cheap way to change a space; next week it could be Navy Blue. I had a moment where I fancied myself a minimalist, but it went out the door when I found some fabulous objec d'art that was bright and fun and I realized that I loved color and couldn't live without it! I do have some artsy pictures and books of naked women; if that doesn't work for you, I can move them outside to my studio so they are not in the living spaces.
Many fun things have happened in this house and every time I walk in, I hear the laughter of all the great get togethers and friends that have gathered here. I hope that you get to feel that and want to stay!

What makes this property unique

Great family-oriented neighborhood. Westwood is great for walking and checking out the houses and meeting friendly people. There are lots of trees and it's quiet. The area has a lake nearby with a great walking trail. Lady Bird Lake is one of our crown jewels in town and you are minutes away. You can rent a SUP board, a canoe or just put your tennies on and walk the trail. There are coffee shops along the way to sit and people watch and enjoy the scenery. This neighborhood is in the middle of it all!
