If you're looking for a clean, comfy place to stay that's close to Glacier National Park and some decent restaurants, this is it! The owner was very helpful and goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is great!
This was the perfect location for our week long trip to visit Glacier National Park. The hosts were incredibly kind and accommodating. The space was clean and full of everything you could need.
This property was just as advertised. The space was very clean, and was stocked with everything you could need. I will definitely try and book here the next time I come.
This is a charming place, with everything necessary for a pleasant stay while enjoying Glacier National Park. The kitchen was well outfitted and the rooms were attractive.
The property and rental was nice and the host was very friendly and easy communication. Definitely follow the host’s directions to the place, because maps will try and take you there through a blocked sketchy area… we didn’t realize half of the town of Hungry Horse is abandoned and overgrown. The town itself and property’s neighbors did not give off good vibes.
Great host and comfortable, clean, spacious lodging
We had a very comfortable stay with Karen at her place. She was so accommodating and welcoming. The neighbors caused a bit of noise across the road one night but not the other. I would stay here again. Good access to west glacier, about 1hr15 from Logan’s pass
Time spent at our stay was to cook, eat, sleep, shower. About 15-20 minutes from west Glacier. Wonderful and informative host! We would recommend this stay and would stay again if back in the area!
The only hick-up was our GPS, but Karen/host came outside and welcomed us and showed us around!
We were very happy with this very clean, rustic A-frame apartment. it was very roomy and comfortable. Karen was great. It's in an excellent location, close to the west entrance of Glacier, but not too far to enjoy dinner in Columbia Falls. Would stay again. Thank you!
This VRBO rental is phenomenal. Karen was so quick to answer any questions, both before the stay and while we were there. She was extremely knowledgeable and offered excellent advise to make our vacation even better. She went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and easy. I could not have asked for a better host or lodging. I would absolutely stay here again!
Enjoyable stay in Hungry Horse at Martins Vacation home. Our lovely host Karen made us feel welcome and right at home. The house was so warm and inviting--we loved the wooden walls, comfy beds, and the flower gardens. The hosts have thought of everything. Clean, spacious and comfortable. Do not miss the huckleberry milkshakes available in town!
Karen was great, she communicated perfectly prior to our arrival and then as we checked in. The unit was very clean and well stocked, very roomy and homey with a great selection of DVD's and VHS tapes to watch. Thank you
Karen was there to greet us. She showed us around and made sure we had everything we needed. Very cordial host. Very clean accommodations. Was very helpful in assisting us with the best ways to enter Glacier National Park, including some information regarding road construction and ways to avoid it. Our thanks to Karen and her husband regarding information about restaurants in the area and other things to see.
All went well during our stay, 4 days. It is close to Glacier and less expensive than some others I investigated. I did not know until I got there that it was an upstairs apartment. It was a bit difficult to carry the luggage up the stairs. We managed and loved the experience.
Karen was very helpful and answered all inquiries before and during our trip promptly and thoroughly.
The house worked well for my friend and I. I would note that the bedroom does not have a door, in case privacy is important to someone. The two of us had plenty of space and it was a comfortable place to relax after long hikes. As others have mentioned, the location is near town and about 20 minutes to west Glacier.
Very nice facility. Check in was easy and the accommodations excellent. Lots of space, clean and nice. Quiet, no TV but plenty of videos to watch. Very nice host. Only two things to be aware of. First, this may look like a cabin in the mountains but it's a residential neighborhood. Not a big deal really, just something to be aware of. Second, I booked this place with the idea it is close to an entrance to Glacier National Park. It is but you need reservations to use the West entrance during the summer, which we did not have and could not get. The result was a two hour drive to enter the park. Planning ahead would have solved this problem but again something to be aware of.

Information on Vrbo not accurate
Property advertised on Vrbo was not accurate. We were under the impression according to the website we would be staying in the cabin pictured on website, instead we were furnished with a room above owner's cabin. Was not aware we had to carry our luggage up a flight of stairs. View from front door was of a VERY rundown mobile home park.
Not the picturesque Montana mountains we were hoping for. Neighborhood was very scary and looked unsafe. We would not have booked had neighborhood and location of our room been disclosed prior. No privacy for us to enjoy and evening outdoors. Although house was tidy, linens were old and warn. Also pillows had a musty odor and were also old and warn.
Great host, spacious cabin-feel apartment convenient to park entrance and dam. This space has everything you need and the charm of a woodsy camp or cabin. Didn’t notice a mountain view as described. Only a few small windows did not allow much natural light or view of anything but neighbors yard and the mobile home community in the next street over. This rental is a couple blocks off the main road in the unpolished, small town of Hungry Horse.
