Enjoyed a girls weekend here!! Property clean, beds comfy, spacious. Enjoyed the fire pit. We ventured into town to the farmers market( get a fry pie from the Amish vendors😋) had lunch at the Driftless cafe which is a farm to table establishment. Very good food! Visited Branches winery for wine tasting. This winery was recommended by several locals and did not disappoint. Overall great experience & highly recommend.
We loved the location and the remoteness. A little scary to have a toddler at this location as there were lots of areas to fall down stair cases because they were open on the sides. There was also a lot of dead bugs noted throughout the house. This was not a normal amount of dead lady bugs and flys. I did some cleaning around the tub before allowing my kids to go in.
We were looking for a long weekend to get away from everything. Ridgehaven was exactly as described. We were able to relax and enjoy nature. Very cozy place to getaway and recharge!!
We had a girl friends gathering. The rental worked perfectly. Spacious, clean, comfy living room seating, and cozy wood fire in the fireplace. Great for hours of chatting and games.
The cabin surpassed our expectations! The house was clean, with a well-stocked kitchen. We had a beautiful view from the deck—all in all, a lovely place to stay. We'll be back again for another fall weekend.
Great property for what we needed. A little of a stretch to LaCrosse, but we planned accordingly.
Beautiful and secluded. Got to see fireworks in the distance from the back deck only to be followed by starlink. To echo another review… challenging with a boat but doable.
Communication was bare minimum. Would have liked some pre-confirmation that the reservation was received, but that was about it. Would book here again.
My parents, brother and sister-in-law, joined us while we were in the area for our daughter’s wedding. The host was gracious and helpful in making this be a memorable experience for us all. This was such a picturesque spot (doe and a pair of fawns were just outside the kitchen window this morning), and very well appointed place to stay. There was space for everyone and a wonderful common area to gather and share the joys of our day. I will certainly come back and stay here when I’m in the area again.
The view is the best part! The house overlooks the valley and has a beautiful sunset each night. The house had enough space for everyone and everything we needed.
The “cabin” is much better looking in person than it appears online. The rooms are large with nice furnishings and finishes. The entire venue is super clean and there were no problems at any point in the booking, check in or check out processes. Jennifer responded to all inquiries quickly and helpfully. If you want a beautiful, peaceful and hassle free stay you could hardly do better. We’ll be back!
We needed a place we could all stay and go fishing and ended up spending a good amount of time at the property. The house, the land around it and the view were beautiful. So peaceful.
We had a group of five guys stay here for two nights on a fishing trip. Just as beautiful as advertised with great views with gorgeous sunrises and sunsets! Very clean inside with plenty of space to sleep and just relax. A little tight to maneuver multiple trucks with boat trailers. We saw coyotes in the back field along with turkeys and plenty of deer around. Very well stocked with items and would definitely stay again!
We appreciate all the attention to detail! Cozy spot with room for everyone to spread out. Enjoyed winter hiking as well as the proximity to town. This was a wonderful stay!
Beautiful cabin and location. Jennifer our hostess was excellent to work with.
Great property, views and customer service. Jennifer was extremely helpful and great to work with. We would suggest this property to all. Everything was clean and ready for us to check in.
This cabin is an absolute must-visit. We were lucky enough to come after a fresh snowfall and the views and scenery were BREATHTAKING. The actual cabin was spotless and smelt so good! We loved the peace, quiet, and seclusion the area offered. Don't hesitate to book this listing, we would recommend it to everyone!
