Christmas in Estes

We loved our stay! The house was perfect for our large family to have Christmas together. Our host was easy to communicate with and very accommodating when I had a question. The location was excellent as well. We would absolutely visit again.

Great house for the family!!!

Lots of room, fireplace, beautifully updated kitchen with everything you need, big deck with a grill & relaxing hot tub, close to town, but not too close, overall wonderful place to stay!!!

Probably our favorite VRBO home we been in!

The home was very clean and comfortable. The lay out was very open so no matter what we were all doing we were still all together. The kitchen was easy to cook in. The check in and check out were very easy.

Great stay in Estes!

This home had plenty of space and amenities for larger groups. Easy access to town but far enough away from the hustle & bustle. Hot tub and grills out back made for perfect evenings watching the wildlife.

Nice property with everything you need

This house is a nice property and location, not incredibly flashy or fancy on the outside (the landscaping is pretty simplistic), but the inside is up to date, clean, and modern. A good kitchen, big TV room, and pleasant outdoor deck with a hot tub and grill. I would stay here again.

Great week in EP!

We had a wonderful week in Estes Park! The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We were able to cook dinners and relax in the hot tub after long hikes. The house was close to town and hikes. Beautiful views and plenty of space in the house.

perfect!

This place was perfect for family and extended family. It was very close to the RMNP entrance and the town. The hot tub was big enough for all eight of us, and the Blackstone grill was perfect for cooking large meals. The kitchen and living area were open and large to gather in comfort. We would definitely stay again

Beautiful home!

We very much enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. There were a few minor issues, but they were quickly addressed by the property manager. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Loved the stayed the area is so contagious! Wish hot tub jets were stronger not just barely noticeable. Otherwise the space was amazing

Beautiful place with plenty of room

We thoroughly enjoed our stay at this property. It was big enough for 8 adults! We never felt like we wer eon top of each other at all. It is qell located to get into the national park easily.

Location location location

Ideal location for RMP. Minutes from the entrance. Good layout for a little space between rooms and enough baths for everyone to get cleaned up without stepping on each other. Kitchen was fine, no spices or salt but not a big deal. I'd go back here without question. Bring extra coffee if you want a pot everyday, they only supply one day's worth - also no big deal as long as you know ahead.

Clean, Comfy, Cozy

Like home away from home. The house was clean, had all the essential kitchen items, beds were comfy. All household appliances work as they should. It was the perfect place for our extended family vacation (my family, my sister’s family and our mom). Having Two master suites really came in handy. The hot tub was excellent for relaxing after the kids went to bed. We saw wildlife every single day, including nap time for a bull elk in the front yard one afternoon. The house is only a few minutes from downtown so driving back and forth for kids’ nap times or a quick trip the grocery store was easy and not out of the way.

Rocky Mountain Park Trip

The house was spacious and comfortably slept 8 adults. It has close proximity to the park which we enjoyed and was close to town. The only issue was the hot tub didn’t work which was a large reason we chose this specific house. Apparently the hot tub was not working before we arrived so we would have appreciated if they let us know in advance. But the owner was responsive and accommodating and we were given a refund for that inconvenience. Overall we enjoyed the stay and the house was very nice.

1285 Mary's Lake Rd

The house was very clean and beautiful and met all of our needs except for two issues. We checked in on a Friday and did not have any TV until Sunday afternoon. We called the Property Manager Lowell Richardson, at first he was difficult to deal with but he did end up getting our TV working (two days later) We called the cable company on Sunday and they advised that the password needed to be reset. We could not do this because we did not have the pass code. For what we paid for this rental, this should have been fixed sooner. He did make a comment that they had trouble with the cable before and thought it was fixed. the TX did not have ESPN, only basic channels. The second issue was the light/ceiling fan in the upstairs bedroom did not work. Again Lowell did not seem to care and said the whole fixture would need to be taken down to repair but made no effort to do so. One lamp with very dim bulb made it very hard to read at night. We did received the pack and play as requested. Lowell advised that he was going to request a refund for us for one day for the inconvenience on not having a TV for 2 days. We have not heard anything further regarding this. Overall I would rate this property a 4 out of 5. Four just because on lack in maintenance on the two issues mentioned. Thank you.

Everything we hoped it would be

Just as advertised! Clean, easy to find, well kept! We had eleven people, five who were kids, and we all had a great time with room for the kids to run and play! Only thing lacking was a griddle or electric skillet as we made pancakes one morning but we made due with the skillet provided. Great place to stay!!

Spacious and Clean Mountain Getaway

Located very close to downtown, the property allowed for us to not only spend relaxing time at the house, but take multiple shopping trips and hiking trips at nearby locales. Sometimes you didn't even need to go hiking, as we saw plenty of wildlife in our backyard, including turkey, deer, and elk! The house itself was clean and open as described. Our only hiccough was a backed up sink/garbage disposal, but that was quickly remedied with one phone call to our rental contact. They were quick to arrive and fix the issue. The house was very well stocked with towels, cooking utensils, and forms of entertainment. We had a wonderful time during our stay, and cannot wait to return.

Lots of things don't work, not stocked with basic things

Came to stay with family of 12. It was just "okay". Neither fireplace or wood burning stove worked. Bummer - since it was cold and that could have provided some ambiance. Several lights in the bedrooms did not work. Temperature in house very uneven so some people froze at night while others were too hot. No coverings on very large main windows in family room felt weird when people were sleeping on the pull out couch. Not stocked with simple things like tissues, dishwasher soap or soap for the shower. The dryer didn't work - no heat- so couldn't dry towels after using them in the hot tub. Overall it was marginal. If you have a lot of children in your group this property does not allow a place for them all to "get away" as there is no basement. We didn't think that would be a problem when we booked it, but after this experience will be looking for a place that has multiple levels from now on.

Great mountain home for a family gathering!!

Wonderful stay with plenty of room for 12 people!

This home had everything we needed to provide a comfortable stay for 6 adults and 6 kids. Lots of space, comfy beds, 3 bathrooms (which is great with 12) and all the kitchen gadgets and pans you need. It was very clean with all new furnishings. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip!! The only misleading, somewhat negative things we would note is neither fireplace worked. The home log fireplace looked as if it hadn’t been used and their was no accessible wood to burn to use it. (Only in the locked garage). The fireplace in the dining room we unfortunately couldn’t get to work either. It would’ve been nice to use at least one of the two. Also, in the description of the home it says it’s on 5 secluded acres with bad mitten to play. This wasn’t the case and it’s maybe on 1/2 acre with neighbors all around. It wasn’t a deal breaker to us just misleading in the homes description. Overall, we would stay here again!
