There are 6 padded Bar Stools at the Snack Bar and a NEW Large rectangular wooden table with 6 chairs, 10 New aluminum framed outdoor stacking chairs are provided for use around the campfire pit or deck. Use of a 14 foot Aluminum Boat with a New 20 HP 4 Stroke Electric Start Outboard Motor, 2 Kayaks, 4 Paddle Boards and a light weight canoe is included with rental in season. Wade or Swim in the Shallow Swimming Area in front of this Property. Beautiful home
Lovely home on the lake, ducks and swans. Chilly fall weather, but tables and chairs ava on patio. We were a group of senior folks, so had a bit of adjustment with no shoes inside - wear slippers with treads, not just socks. Home fully accommodating with large supply of towels, etc. thank you, Joseph,.well built, lovely home!

Weekend at the lake
Beautiful site right on the lake. We were in town for a local wedding and the house was perfect for the 10 of us. The littles were excited about sleeping in the loft space. The beds were comfortable, and things were clean. Plenty of space for everyone. The older kids enjoyed an evening fire in the firepit. The neighborhood was quiet, and we walked the area streets and felt very safe. We wouldn't mind coming back when we can enjoy the lake activities.

Beautiful lake area, nice neighbors, and great family friendly floor plan. Best for folks who can climb stairs easily as all bdrms are upstairs and steps are hardwood and felt slightly steep. Nice place place

We had a great time at the Baseline Lake house. We had plenty of towels, the kids loved using the paddle boards and kayaks and the fishing was great! The owner is very easy to work with.

The outdoor area needed was not well maintained, weeds throughout the property and not a very big yard for the kids to play. The water was very weedy, not good for swimming. We arrived and the owner said we could rake the weeds out if we wanted, so we spent hours raking so the kids could swim. He never came back to clean up the piles of seaweed as he promised. We were also guaranteed a pontoon rental from him when we booked, but the week before we were notified it wasn’t working. The house itself was fine. The kitchen was lacking in supplies. Had issues connecting to the WiFi initially, wrong passwords were provided in a few spots but correct one as located on the modem which was in a difficult to locate place. The lake itself is nice, you can find good swimming in the deep spots but not in front of the house. I wouldn’t recommend the rental if you plan to swim off the dock.

Home was clean and well stocked. Was able to launch my boat at local DNR boat launch and tie to dock for my stay. Parking is very limited, but was able to make it work by disconnecting trailer from vehicle and moving aside. Overall not a bad place to rent for a family vacation close to my home.

It was a beautiful property to stay on! The only downside was the AC broke and it was 90 degrees all weekend so the inside of the house was 80 degrees both nights so it was a bit challenging to sleep.

Simply Amazing! A++ Experience
Our family really enjoyed staying here. The property is lake front, perfect 3 ft sandy depth for kids to play all day long. Kids really enjoyed kayaking while the dads enjoyed the aluminum fishing boat. Property is clean with all the amentities needed. The owner is super friendly and is only a call away if needed. I would recommend to all families looking for that upnorth feel without the long drive. We have rented through vrbo for close to 10 years and this is the best one we have been to yet! Thank you Joe, we will be in touch again for sure!

Fantastic Stay
We came to this property for an event nearby and had a wonderful experience from beginning to end. The home was clean and cozy and our host communicated everything we should know about our stay. We had a lot of fun enjoying the lake and kayaks provided! Would definitely recommend to friends and other guests who are looking for a relaxing home away from home.

Only negatives are couldn't change the thermostat (it was really cold in the house) and didn't respond to texts. We had neighbors come yes at us that we were using their dock. We were just standing there and got hollered at!! So awkward!

The owners of this property thought of everything and do their best to provide all you need for a vaction on the lake. The house was spotless when we arrived. Beds were all nicely made, extra blankets in the linen closets, many clean towels, great a/c system, working netflix and more on the large screen tv, and more. We had full use of 3 kayaks and 2 paddleboards plus a motorboat, on the lake which connects to other lakes. The nature in the area is beautiful and we spent much time out in the kayaks. Joe was available and helpful if we needed anything. I highly recommend this property for a family vacation.

Our family vacation
We all had such a wonderful four days together. The lake was so beautiful. The house accommodated all 15 of us perfectly. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect house and location. The house was clean, the beds were very comfortable, and we rented the pontoon boat from the owner, which made our trip very memorable. We definitely would recommend this lake house again and again for a family getaway or for a couple getaway. I know we would love to come back next year.

We enjoy all the friendly boaters who pass our home on the Huron River at the Mouth of Baseline Lake, Cruising with family and friends on our Pontoon Boat and Swimming in these Clear, Refreshing Waters in Summer. In Winter we fill our bird feeders daily and make popcorn and bread crust for hungry ducks and many species of birds that frequent this open water at the mouth of the Huron River.

Why they chose this property

We built a home nearby in 1992 on 21 acres of wooded property that remains in our family, But we have been boaters for many years and talked of someday buying a Lakefront Home, Shortly after retirement in 2011 we bought our current home. We quickly fell in love with Lake Front Living as we feel like are vacationing at a Beautiful Resort everyday of the year. We are sure that most visitors who experience Lake Front Living and boating in this unique and inspiring environment will cherish wonderful family memories and return for their next vacation as part of our family !! --- Baseline Lake is Unique and Special among the Huron River Chain of Lakes partly because of our weed free, firm sandy bottom "Sand Bar" that is very popular with boaters for swimming, wading and visiting with friends and family, Our Vacation Rental Home is about 1/4 mile from this Popular Beach, You are welcome to bring a boat as we have dock space. Use of our very nice Pontoon Boat can be arranged only for our guests.
