This beach/ocean front, private, quiet, newly built, clean, upscale, modern, vacation home rental property just steps away from the beach and minutes from the city of Horta in the little, quiet, peaceful village of Pedro Miguel. We have everything you need to truly enjoy the blue island of Faial, Azores (Portugal, Europe). This unique rental property sits on almost 2 acres with unobstructed oceanfront views with no neighbors alongside or in front of you for extra privacy. Public beach access, steps away, with outside showers. Each self-catering condo offers beach/ocean front views with 3 large bedrooms (full-size beds) with abundant closet space, 2 bathrooms with shower and bath (towels provided) and two sofas in the living room. Almost 2 acres of private ocean\beach front property. Plentiful parking outside the private, enclosed entrance. Beautifully landscaped environment. The kitchen is newly equipped with a refrigerator, gas range, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, cookware, dishes, and flatware. Large dining room table along with outside patio table and chairs. This property is located approximately 8 minutes from the City of Horta (Faial) and 25 minutes from the airport located in Castelo Branco. Rental cars are available at the airport or local taxi service. The island of Faial, a safe, tranquil, peaceful island with beautiful scenic views of two, dormant volcanoes with plenty of hiking trails, is also known for its world renown Big Game Marlin Fishing, scuba diving, and other outdoor swimming/ocean activities. The ocean is warmed by the gulf stream in the summer, avg. temp. 70-73 degrees. Restaurants are plentiful, with freshly caught seafood. There are plenty of shopping stores in Horta or surrounding villages. Large supermarkets are available for those who prefer cooking from home. The view of Mount Pico was incredible. The cows, chicken, and other animals was great. But, alot of spider web in the house, the house was dirty, no soap for the showers and hands and the laundry.

Could not ask for a better location, the view is amazing, short drive into town, responsive host and have I mentioned the view? We can not say enough wonderful things about the house, location and the beach, all just wonderful!

Do not hesitate when considering this home...excellent!
Generally speaking this home delivered on what we were looking for and exceeded expectations. LOCATION: Roughly 15-20 min drive from town center and or airport. About 10 min drive from various eateries and popular beach. Highly recommend renting a car if staying here since a taxi ride from town center is roughly $10-$15 euros each way. The view is SPECTACULAR from every vantage point. You can walk to 2 separate beaches that are lightly visited by locals. 1 of those 2 beaches is literally at the end of the road (about 200 feet away from the house. Beautiful landscaping on the house grounds. ACCOMMODATIONS: The house is perfect for a group of 6 people (8 if willing to have 2 sleep on couches). We stayed as a group of 4 adults and 2 children. The 2 full baths made getting ready that much easier. The house is perfectly stocked with glassware/plates/pots and we took advantage and cooked full meals during our stay. Adequate linens & towels were provided and a washer machine can be utilized in the garage area (hang dry your items). Plenty of day light comes into the house. Dinning table can accommodates 6 comfortably and another 2 chairs are available off to the side if needed. Wifi worked as advertised with no issues. There were other guests above us and the host in the studio below us and we never heard either groups. Our floor seemed pretty insulated from any noise from above or below us. HOST: Gabriel was the perfect mix of being accessible and not hovering. He greeted us upon arrival and provided us a couple of tips. Responded quickly when we emailed him with a couple of questions while there and bid us farewell the day before we checked out. A very gracious host. TIPS: Bring an iron if you think you may need one and a wall outlet adapter if you need to plug anything that doesn't have a euro plug (we visited from the United States). If staying on either floor & you are traveling with small children be conscious of them while they are on the balcony. At night if you are sleeping with the windows/balcony doors open (recommended in the summer months) turn off as many lights as possible so that bugs are not attracted to them and enter the house.

Traumhafte Lage mit traumhaftem Blick
Die Wohnung ist modern eingerichtet und liegt sehr ruhig mit grandiosem Ausblick auf den Pico. Vom Balkon aus konnten wir uns außerdem an Kälbchen erfreuen, die wie verspielte kleine Hunde herumtollten. Ein Mietwagen ist ein Muss, Parkplätze befinden sich direkt vor dem Haus. Insbesondere empfanden wir die Ausstattung mit Waschmaschine sehr praktisch. Vielen Dank an die Hausverwalterin, dass sie auch folgende Kleinigkeiten in ausreichender Menge bereitgestellt hat: Toilettenpapier, Handwaschseife, Geschirrspültabs und Waschmittel. Wir verbrachten 5 Nächte in dieser Ferienwohnung und hätten uns auch noch länger sehr wohl gefühlt.

Diese moderne, helle und gut ausgestattete Wohnung im zweiten Stock mit grosser Terrasse liegt in einer ruhigen, ländlichen, aber gut erschlossenen Umgebung. Unvergesslich die atemberaubende Sicht auf das nahe Meer und den Pico bei einem Glas Wein. Der richtige Ort zum Entspannen. Ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt. Empfehlenswert!

Paradis på Faial
Dette er simpelthen den mest enestående feriebolig!! Det kæmpestore hus er opdelt i to lækre lejligheder, og ejerens far, der fungerer som vicevært, bor i kælderetagen. Lejligheden er stor, og alt er nyt og superlækkert. Udsigten fra den store altan er enestående. Du har græssende køer, Atlanterhavet og vulkanen på Pico i samme kig. Gabriel (ejeren) og hans far er meget venlige og hjælpsomme, og alt i alt må dette være tæt på en perfekt feriebolig.

My parents were both born in Pedro Miguel, visiting the island yearly, I fell in love with the people, culture, village festivals, pollution free beaches, local coast fishing, low cost food, very low crime (ie. if someone steals a chicken or goat, that's news!), scuba diving, hiking volcanoes, swimming in warm, clear, clean ocean waters.

Each floor to rent is a 3 bedroom, 2 baths, which can hold 6 people comfortably. The quiet village of Pedro Miguel offers a quiet, peaceful, safe place to visit but only minutes from the city of Horta. The newly built, oceanfront, 6 bedrooms, 4 baths, 2 story condo with enclosed private, quarters, offers newly built construction with modern appliances and furniture. It offers an unobstructed view of the waterfront, beach property with no neighbors beside you. Wake up and walk steps to the beach. Plentiful parking. Beautifully landscaped environment.
