Second year in a row!

This place is fantastic. Close enough to town yet far enough away to get away from it all. Great place for friends and family. More than enough room to hang together inside and outside comfortably, yet plenty of privacy.

Double J ranch was a great location for a fishing trip to Ennis, MT.

Easy acces and good layout for family event. Nice view for evenings on the deck. House gives lots of bedroom options. Thanks for hosting our father son outing.

Peaceful with amazing views

Great cabin experience for our group of 7 adults. Plenty of room, beds, bathrooms and plenty of kitchen items to cook full meals. Nice stream along the property and amazing evening views of the entire Madison valley...and the stars after dark were incredible. Great getaway. Thanks Kathy.

Super Location

We gathered from three different areas of the US and this was a perfect place for all 13 of us. Beautiful views and off the beaten path so it was very quiet. The kids were able to explore the creek and surrounding areas with nice long walks. The large cabin is very roomy inside and has a very large deck outside so we didn't feel like we were getting in everyone's way. With so much to do in the area, this was a great time for all of us.

Great for large groups

The cabin was everything my group of 12 asked for. Property manager was very friendly and accommodating. We spent most of our time outside in the large yard and on the amazing deck soaking in the views. Would recommend!

All wonderful things!

This cabin was a beautiful reprieve from the noise and action of cities. Our group truly enjoyed themselves in the surrounding area and it was a very comfortable fit for all 15 of them. Thank you!!

GREAT memory making location

It was wonderful to have a place that we could call home for a week. My children and grandchildren had so much fun making memories, four-wheeling, and cozying up after a long day of exploration in the mountains on the front porch overlooking the beautiful view, or on the couch reading book. I would recommend this cabin to anyone who wants to have a place to call home, all the while make some memories in the wilderness. Thank you so much for providing such an amazing home to us - our memories will last forever.

Wow! Great views, privacy and relaxation!

My family came from Florida and absolutely loved this cabin. We're already planning next year's trip. Remote but still easy to get to. The place is clean, comfortable and spacious. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a Montana vacation!

Excellent

Elk Hills Haven was more than adequate for the needs of our group of 12. The cabin provides beautiful sunrises and sunsets that highlight the beautiful surrounding mountains. It was wonderfully decorated and the kitchen had every conceivable item needed to produce fantastic meals. Unfortunately it was unusually hot during our July stay which made it a bit uncomfortable due to a lack of air conditioning, therefore I rated it a four star instead of a five. The bottom line is we could have not found a better place for the price and the convenience. Thanks--Jimmy Porter

Just OK

Nice location and beautiful view. Cabin is surprisingly large, with plenty of beds for a large crew of people - although not sure the water pressure could handle any more than the 2 couples. Problem for the price charged, there was no internet, the front yard had been ripped up awaiting for grass to grow in the middle of hot summer with no water. Also, there are no windows that open on the east side of the house and only a very few that open on the west, making for a stuffy time when everyone is in the house at night. It was, however, very clean and the views were lovely.

Beautiful!

The house was clean and comfortable. For the first time ever, our large party had enough room to sit in the living room and hang out with old friends. The views were fantastic, the night sky is unbelievable and the view of the sunrise from the deck was gorgeous. The deck also had more than enough room for all of us to be together. Getting in and out of the area was a piece of cake, only a few miles to Ennis (small town America, lovely main street). All the appliances worked, the refrigerator/freezer was actually very cold (we've stayed in places where the cooler we brought worked better). Our weekend was spent fishing/floating the Madison and we had more than enough room for the three truck/raft trailer combos, plus parking for the rest, and it was an easy drive to the fishing access sites. Would definitely recommend this home if you have a large group of friends/family getting together. We do a trip like this every year and will be looking to book this house next year. Thank you for letting us borrow your home to make memories!
