About this property

Peaceful LAKEVIEW Home with tons of outdoor space and privacy!

Awesome lakeview 2/2 tucked in the trees with tons of outdoor space to enjoy including fenced yard with outdoor pavilion, fire pit, grill, and multiple relaxation and dining spaces. Updated with a modern, farmhouse touch, the private master bed and bath are upstairs with a custom built king bed with a brand new “certified green” mattress and cozy cotton and linen bedding. The master also includes a daybed for a 5th sleeping area for a child or small adult, if needed. The secondary bed and bath are downstairs with hand crafted queen bed that also has a new “certified green” mattress and comfy bedding for a great nights sleep. The 6th person (small adult or child) can sleep on blow up mattress in any of the available floor space they choose or on the couch with added sofa cover and bedding.

We love the natural surroundings and have a great greenhouse where you can practice your green thumb or art skills to provide some fun and unique activities for all. We have yoga mats, Pilates bar, medicine ball and large balance balls in the carport should you prefer to start or end your day with some exercise or zen time. We also have Cornhole, Molkky and various other board and card games to try your skills at.

Our home is located a few blocks from the community boat ramp, 10 minutes from River Road and less than 15 to the “Horseshoe” and Whitewater Amphitheater, the location couldn’t be better. A few more miles to Historic Gruene, New Braunfels, San Antonio, San Marcus, Wimberly and Bourne and easy day trips to Fredricksburg, Johnson City or Austin. With an abundant variety of outdoor options between floating one of the rivers, boating or enjoying the nearby Comal Park swim beach and island or fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, etc, you can’t forget the many live music venues, amusement parks, museums, wineries and eclectic shopping options all within a short drive!

Our goal is for you to enjoy a vacation while also feeling “at home”! We are travel junkies so we have a ton of experience with what can really set your experience apart! We personally manage every aspect of our properties and your stay and are very nearby should you need anything during your visit.

Great Property!!!

This was a very nice and spacious property. Everything was within driving distance. The kitchen had everything we needed for preparing dinner. The host was quick with responding to my questions. We were happy and hope to be able to stay here again when we plan our next lake vacation. The only critique I had about the house was that there was no clocks so I had to get my phone whenever wondering the time. Other than that small thing the house was amazing.Thank you for sharing with us.

Super location and the best backyard

Talk about an amazing property, spacious backyard, fire pit and cabana with lights. Our dog loved to run wild and look after the wildlife. Such a cozy place, with a view of lake canyon from the top balcony! The location is fantastic- so close to the lake and gas station. Plenty of parking space. The host got back immediately with any questions and was very attentive for our stay. Would highly recommend!

Quiet with tons of outdoor spaces

Monica was lovely and very communicative. The property was gorgeous and very peaceful. There was lake access nearby and several different decks/patios/outdoor sitting areas for hanging out that we loved! Perfect quiet weekend getaway spot.

Fabulous Place at The Canyon Lake Forest

The property is clean and cozy! The indoor and outdoor setting is picturesque. We enjoyed being up at the second floor balcony with family to experience the eclipse and it was an absolutely magical. The art room was inviting and beautiful but did not have time to use it since we took long walks to enjoy the surroundings. The presence of the nature and deer made it enjoyable. Was able to take many nature pictures that will last a lifetime to share and enjoy. Would love to come back and spend a week. Had a great time!!

Peaceful and relaxing

The house was exactly as listed but better. It was clean and fresh. The host thought of everything a guest could need in a trip away from home. She was thoughtful, very attentive, and responsive. My family if 5 plus our family pet stayed and had a great time. We went for hikes, tried out local BBQ spots and even went to San Antonio one day. The Wifi was fast and we watched a few movies at night. We enjoyed the fire pit and roasted marshmallows. We also cooked out a couple of times and relaxed in the backyard and deck which has an amazing view of the lake. 10/10 recommend this stay, you won’t be disappointed.

Nice getaway

The Lakeview Home was very clean and outdoor area was nice for relaxing. Yard is totally fenced so our fur baby could run and play. Look forward to visiting again!

Our family of 3 visited over spring break. The house and property are amazing. Such a peaceful and relaxing environment with plenty to do. The house is even better than I had hoped for. We will definitely be returning here in the near future.

Great Space!

It was my husband and me and our younger son and his wife and this house was perfect for us! It had everything we needed for cooking and the beds were super comfortable. The spaces to hang out both inside and out were great. Definitely recommend this house! Monica was very quick to respond and the check-in/check-out was super easy.

Relaxing and very clean

We were very pleased upon arrival of the lake view home. It was very clean and organized and contained everything we needed for our stay. We very much enjoyed use of the outdoor spaces. And, Monica was so easy to communicate with. She was always very prompt in returning messages or answering questions about the area. Awesome location and property!

Monica's listing is just as described! It was perfect for our family of four to take day trips to the surrounding area and return for a quite, relaxing evening. The location is very private, with the only "intruders" being the deer who visited each morning. Would definitely recommend for a family looking for a relaxing place to getaway.

Great location and property

My husband and I stayed her for our anniversary. We came with our dog as well and everyone loved their stay. The location is a good size with excellent amenities and plenty of areas to relax and enjoy a meal inside or out. Our dog loved the big back yard and chasing the numerous deer you see going by. The location feels very private with trees surrounding you and is a great place to just enjoy a sitting outside and relaxing. You are very close to the lake. Monica was a fantastic host that provided us a small gift for our anniversary and gave us many ideas of fun things in the area. We will definitely stay here again if we come back to Canyon Lake.

We have had a second home at the lake for many years and can't imagine a better place to experience all we can with our kids and grandkids on the lakes, rivers and small towns within less than 30 minutes from our location. We now spend the majority of our time at the lake and enjoying hosting others and helping them to have the best vacations they possibly can by offering our knowledge, experience and additional services to plan, set up events, reservations, etc.. If you have a special request, please ask!

Why they chose this property

This property is so special and unique in it's privacy which is very hard to find around the lake! It feels as if you are truly tucked away in your own little forest though you are very close to everything. We live nearby and wanted to preserve all of the extra space around the home so it would not be sub-divided and built on.

What makes this property unique

PRIVACY and PROXIMITY to all of the hill country - lake, river, shopping, wine country, caverns, exotic animal farms, Schlitterbahn, San Antonio and all of the sites there. I could go on and on. It doesn't get better in Texas.
