Perfect place for a Vacation

The place was very clean. Lots of room and perfect location if you're going to Michigan adventures. Just a short drive to Grand Haven. I will absolutely book this again.

Cabin best for hunters and fisherman or winter sportsman

We had a great time on our stay however the cabin was a bit more rustic than expected. The unit could definitely use some upgrades. Linens were clean as was the rest of the unit. The road in front was under construction which made passage a bit difficult

Decent place

Mostly, we have little complaints about the property. The vent in the bathroom needed cleaned, the bathtub drained slowly. Wooden steps into the house need looked at due to wood being soft and might break on someone. Other than those things it’s a nice place. Linens smelled fresh, kitchen well stocked with anything needed for making food.

Ok for a family stay :)

My friend and her 3 kids, along with my 3 kids stayed here for 4 nights. This property is close to Michigans adventure, which is why we chose it. I gave 5 stars because the description was accurate, and had most things you would think to need. The water did smell funny, but honestly who cares. We brought bottled water to drink. The new A/C unit was nice. There are older fans in every room, which was nice for at night. We brought a queen size air mattress for extra room for the kids to sleep. We cooked breakfast and dinner here every day. Lake Michigan is within 30 min, so we did a couple of day trips, and had a ton of fun. Cons: Watch the water temp with littles, gets hot quick! Taking your trash with you is annoying, but we made it work. I’m not exactly sure the front door locks from the outside (like when you leave)…if it does, we couldn’t figure it out. We just prayed that no one stopped and stole all of our things while we left everyday. The deadbolt worked from the inside which was reassuring while we slept at night. Overall, if you’re looking for somewhere to sleep in the Muskegon area that won’t break the bank, you will be just fine here!

Nice vacation house in the woods

We enjoyed our stay at this cabin in the woods. Great place to spot lots of different birds. Close by Michigan Adventure Park and plenty of lakes in the vicinity. Place was clean and cozy. It was clear the owners have listened to some of the previous posts and have done their best to make things better. There is an air conditioning unit, good internet service and cable TV. We also enjoyed using the firepit

Great place to stay

We stayed 3 nights and it was perfect for our family. We visited Michigan Adventures and the Silver Lake sand dunes while there. The house was clean and had everything we needed. We will be staying again next year!

Overall nice

The house was clean and well kept. The air conditioner kept it cool. Glad there was a street trash can. Well stocked kitchen and linens. Outside could have used mowing and fire pit was full, we had to clean it out before using. Location was great for silver lake sand dunes, and duck lake state park. We’ll be back :)

Nice quiet home

Great place for our family. Only thing that would make it better would be a washer dryer and trash disposal.

Cozy and comfy.

Place was mostly clean, couple of things not wiped down. Comfortable little house. Plenty of dishes, towels, sheets and blankets. Only real complaints, no washer/dryer and no where to get rid of trash. When staying a week the trash really builds up.

No AC, broken dishwasher

I regret booking this property. Would have been more comfortable at a hotel. There’s a cleaning fee, but they give you a list of things to clean before you leave. Like load and start the dishwasher. Well the dishwasher was broken. And NO AC. We had the windows open, but I’m 6 months pregnant and in July at that. No thank you. Two of the 3 rooms had fans but it just didn’t cut it. The home was kinda gross too. When we arrived, there was a used tissue on the counter in the kitchen. Ant problem. Moth problem. Shower was too gross looking to use so I legit went 3 days without. I felt like I was camping in the woods. Also the photos of the property made me think it was somewhat secluded, but it’s actually right off a very busy road and you can hear cars whizzing around pretty much all the time.

Awful

Upon arrival we could not get in and the point of contact would not answer the phone or return calls. Cleaning fee is charged but the list at the house makes you clean. There are no towels. There are no screens in the windows to open for air flow. There are dead fish in the freezer. All the food is beyond expired. Experience was terrible. Will never stay here again.

Great space and location for us!

The property was spacious and what we expected from the photos. It was a great location for seeing our friends and family in the area. There was a large ant problem and we were asked to rake the garbage with us which was inconvenient since we drive to Chicago and flee to California. Ants ended up crawling out of the trash and throughout our car rental. Other than that it was great- quiet, and what we needed!
