The Kids won't want to leave!!! Our kid friendly home has something to offer everyone!!EXCELLENT views which include beautiful sunrises over Mt. LaConte, the aerial tram, downtown Gatlinburg, a game room with FREE REAL arcade games that will for sure entertain adults and children for hours,located near one of the three Chalet Village community heated pools (open mid-May to mid Sept.),and 1/2 mile from the entrance to Ober Gatlinburg ski area. All of this for a great value!! PLUS, we have PARKING!! We have a parking area that can fit 4-5 cars across and everyone can get out or park a motorcycle trailer!!

Our Chalet is a large A-frame design. It has three levels with a bath on each level. The first level has 2 bedrooms (1Q, 1F), a full bath and a laundry facility (washer and dryer). The main level has 2 bedrooms (2Q's), a full bath, the living/dining room,gas fireplace with sunken living room, kitchen, and decks which surround 2 sides of our home, and the hot tub. The 3rd level has a bedroom (1K ), plus a bed (1F ) on the loft, a bath. The game room is its own room off this level and has couches. Our cabin is close to all the area attractions(Dollywood, Pigeon Forge, Cherokee, National Park entrance and more). It sits on top of Ski Mountain in the Chalet Village neighborhood and our street ends with the boundary to the National Forrest which allows for an occasional visit from wildlife, i.e. 'L'il Smokey', a black bear, that likes to visit our home from time to time in search of their next meal. Even though, we are on top of the mountain, we are still only 3 miles from downtown Gatlinburg and 15 minutes to Pigeon Forge.

We have WIRELESS INTERNET SERVICE, FREE LONG DISTANCE PHONE SERVICE for US & Canada, and digital cable. We have stereo systems, DVD and VHS players and a movie library for your viewing pleasure. We offer a complete kitchen and dishes with a set up for 15.

Our home has something for everyone...entertainment, close to all area attractions, views, the house is located a lot away from your neighbors on all sides, and fun. The word I usually use to describe our home is that is has 'Great Flow' for a group. While the kids are up in the game room, the adults can enjoy a movie or views from the deck.

Update: The Hot Tub was replaced in January 2022, and is working great.

Nice stay
The cabin was located in a very ideal place being within 5 minutes of downtown Gatlinburg. You could actually see the Ober Gatlinburg tram just overhead. The owners were highly responsive and the house came ready with everything you need for food prep as well.

Cabin was nice and cozy. Very repaxing. Needs a little updating. The driveway was super steep. Our cars needed to have rocks under the tires to not slide in the ice. We treated the driveway but itcwas still hard to get in and out in the winter weather.

Fun time in the Smoky Mountains
We had a great time at this quaint cabin up in the Smoky Mountains. The kids (ages 7-15) and the adults alike loved the game room. The hot tub was amazing, with beautiful views overlooking the mountains. We didn’t see any actual bears, but we know they were there! I enjoyed my stay.

Definitely wasnt expecting the inclines to get up the hill to the actual cabin... just a little scary with the sleet and rain. BUT we did see a bear and her cubs a couple of times!!! Very homey stay!! Everything you really could need AND Instacart does deliver!!

Wedding weekend
So I didn’t mind the property. The drive way was terrible to get into. Honestly if it didn’t have the huge 6x6 in the middle the drive could be used as a horse shoe drive and make it much easier. The inside of the cabin wasn’t very clean. The top step was messed up and a few people ended up tripping. It was my wedding weekend and I spent time cleaning up. There was mold on the ceiling in the main floor bathroom. I was offered a small solution for the cleanliness. So I know the owners tried. But for the price I paid I wouldn’t do it again. Some of the dishes were dirty and there were rat droppings in the drawers. I did really enjoy the hot tub and the fact we seen snow and bears. That was cool.

Great location!
This was our first family vacation in quite a long time. The property was just as the owner said. It was a terrific location. We really enjoyed Ober Village which is super close to this cabin. We got several visits from local bears which we loved. The grandkids LOVED the game room. All in all a super fun vacation and we loved where we stayed.

The cabin is in need of some repairs and the cleaning company could do a better job. The game room was a life saver with my grandsons who am I kidding my wife and I enjoyed it as well . The owners were very nice so overall we enjoyed everything would go back

I was very disappointed that we did Not have a view. We did see bears daily which was fun. The cabin is in great need of TLC, it has good potential but is need of refreshing and repair. We did have room for everyone and the beds were comfy, wifi worked as well unless you were on lower level, then ify. Host were quick to respond when messaged. Note that bears can open trash bins. There was trash all around from checkin. Noone came to clean as we were told they wouldhosts may want to contact th

Lots of space
The game room was a favorite and the hot-tub was nice. Bear visited daily and we thought that was fun. We had a difficult time getting everything in garbage bins- there were 4 cans, but only could get one open to put trash in. Note said the garbage gets picked up multiple times a week, but maybe they are short staffed, as that was not our experience. There were a few roaches in the house, but not anything crazy. Also a leak in the front bedroom on 2nd floor. The ceiling in the top floor bedroom flakes dirt onto the pillow of the bed daily, but it’s just an old home, so not a big deal. Top room also has a very strong odor, but again, no big deal. Ac worked great, kitchen was functional, as were showers. Drive up was sketchy, but that’s just the area. Just understand you are booking an older, lived in home that is probably overwhelming for the cleaner to clean every aspect of.

Kids were super excited about the game room. The variety of the pool table and games kept them busy for hours. In addition, the common area, which included the kitchen, fireplace pit, dining area and living room provided plenty of space for the entire group. Saw plenty of bears so make sure to lock your vehicles as one did the car doors and help themselves to anything it could find to eat. The owners were very responsive to anything we needed. Unfortunately we didn't have a view due to tree leaves. The house could use some TLC updates. But overall we had a great visit.

Rundown old property
This is a throwback to the 70s and not in a good way. Everything from the carpet to the furniture and everything else is old and shabby. There are absolutely no mountain views from the house. The stairways are steep and narrow, nobody with any mobility issues ahould consider staying here. There is a constant flurry of some white powder coming from the peak in the living room that coats the sofa. We had a thunderstorm one day and the roof leaked in two places. We actually left a day early because everyone was ready to get out of the place.

Everything about getting information we needed and checking in was great, I enjoyed the simplicity of it. The pictures did not show some of the age and wear that was there but we didn’t mind, and the pictures made it seem way bigger. But again plenty of room for us. We used the hot tub twice and it worked great. The trip to Gatlinburg was quick and easy, pigeon forge not so much. We did end up seeing a bear on the property but it was a welcome treat as we love wild life. I do wish the tv remotes had been labeled for each tv, we never really got that figured out. All in all I am already trying to figure out when we are going to come back.
