This quaint little northwoods spot is the perfect getaway. The cabin is nestled in the quiet woods across the road from Old Settler's Park, which provides access to Big Glen Lake and a small public boat launch perfect for kayaks or canoes. This Burdickville location is within walking distance of two of the regions finest dining establishments, and a corner store/ice cream shop. It is just a short drive to the Sleeping Bear Dunes, Lake Michigan Beaches, the Crystal River, and the many towns in the area.
The cabin has 2 bedrooms, each with a double bed, and a sofa bed which sleeps an additional 2 people. There is a fully equipped kitchen and an outdoor grill. Enjoy a meal out on the deck. The outdoor fire pit is the perfect spot to stay warm as the sun sets behind Alligator Hill.

This place was exactly what we hoped for. Cute quaint little cottage with a bonfire pot and great nature views all around. The home was clean and in working order. I would go back and stay again!
My daughter and I were up for a family reunion nearby. This cabin is well located, and the park across the street has playground equipment and a dock. We even saw the northern lights one night!
Definitely would recommend this cabin. Nice property too
Came up north to do some shopping, dining and sight seeing. Your cabin provided the perfect location for our day trips. The add was spot on and there were no surprises. The cabin was very clean and cozy. Ended each day with a bonfire and a glass of wine. I would recommend to friends.
We enjoyed a nice, quiet stay on a beautiful Fall weekend. Our only issue was that the dvd player did not work--power came on but the tray would not open. I'm sure the owners have corrected that issue by now. The owners were very reponsive, especially when we locked a cell phone in the cottage when we were ready to depart--solved in a few minutes via text. We would stay here again.
Stayed with our family in the cabin. Great spot next to a park and across the road from the lake. 10 minute drive to Glen Arbor with all kinds of shops. Highly recommend this cabin.
My family, which includes myself, my husband, 3 energetic boys (10, 6, and 10 months) loved this cozy little cabin! We walked to the park and water directly across the street from us to explore and play. At the cabin the boys loved that they had outdoor games, like football and crochet, and inside we played some family rounds of candyland. From a mom's perspective, I loved that this cabin also had an infant packNplay to make bedtime easy for the baby. Checkin was super easy and communication was awesome. Would highly recommend this place to anyone!!
Enjoyed our stay very much. The park across the street was great for the kids, planning on coming back next summer to take advantage of all the outdoor attractions near by. Appreciated the recommendations for attractions and restaurants.
Along with being a cozy, spotlessly clean cabin, we found the location to be perfect for easy access to an amazing number of Sleeping Bear hiking trails and gorgeous Lake Michigan beaches. In addition, Glen Arbor, Empire, Leland, and Suttons Bay are all nearby and we never tired of the lovely drives around the peninsula. The cabin and furnishings are so comfortable and cooking meals a breeze in the well stocked kitchen. We also made good use of the outdoor fire pit, while enjoying the nighttime solitude and star-filled sky. In short, we loved everything about this property and communication with Heidi was excellent!
We enjoyed our stay in Glen Arbor. Cabin was perfect place as a home base while exploring the area. Heidi was quick to respond and offered great suggestions. Look forward to a return trip

Excellent and relaxing
We loved the clean, cozy cabin. The location was great to access several different bodies of water and sites. It was nice to eat in but there were great eat out options perfect for different tastes and price ranges. We will definitely be back - it is perfect Up North Living!

A wonderful place.
Such a peaceful open setting. Inside is very clean, fresh and comfortable. Heidi Is so kind and accessible. We grew very attached to this sweet cottage in our two week stay, and hope to book next summer, once we know our weeks.
We loved the location. In addition to being right across from public access to Big Glen, which offers great shallow swimming, the yard at the cabin provided a perfect place for my kids and I to socially distance and visit outdoors with our family who live in the area. It’s a nice private setting but close to everything. The kitchen was stocked with pots and pans, real wine glasses and even things like olive oil and spices. A very cute, clean 1950s cabin.
We had the best time this weekend! The cottage is so cute and cozy and we felt right at home. The pictures posted don’t do it justice! The house is amazing and we wouldn’t have picked anywhere else to stay! Heidi was so easy to communicate with and we hope to be back some day!! Thank you!!

Why they chose this property
Our cabin is in a great location for shopping, The Dunes, skiing, hiking and local wineries. Located across from access to Big Glen Lake makes it convenient to the water but being set back in a one acre forest provides the privacy that makes for a perfect getaway.
