Spacious 1 bedroom unit with all the amenities you needed, and a kitchen filled with cookwares more than you can find in an average household. Location is secluded with a beautiful creek next to it, and 10-15mins walk to the town centre. Comes with parking too!
The unit suited our needs, very comfortable, everything we needed.
The only thing which was totally my fault is that we didn't know until 2 days prior that it was upstairs and it was too late to cancel so we have learnt to request ground floor accommodation in the future.
The host was very good in communicating what was happening at the units.
Had a great stay, very comfortable and clean. Really appreciated the flanalette sheets ! Also appreciated Stacey's recommendations, we loved Sixpence. We will be back.
Spacious apartment with a spa & close to the shops!
The apartment was nicer than the listed photos which was a nice surprise. It has onsite parking & a 5-10 minute walk to Bright town centre which was super convenient, would definitely recommend this place!
Positives: location (short walk to central Bright), spacious rooms, new shower/toilet, price
Negatives: old, tired decor, curtains falling off rods, no stove or stove top, junky kitchen cupboards, needed a good overall clean, more than floors, bathroom. Hard floors had a sticky film, as if from a cleaning substance. If these issues were fixed, I’d return in a heart beat.
Cedar Flats is exactly what you can expect from a holiday up to gorgeous Bright. It's not super modern but it doesn't matter, it has literally all you need to enjoy the surrounding landscape. We walked or biked everywhere, down the road to town and to our hiking paths. Our host was responsive and lovely too. We even jumped in the spa after our day of biking (&after our shower) &honestly with the sounds of the little creek passing through the property, to watching bees to-ing and fro-ing to their nest. It was a gorgeous birthday long weekend for me, brought back many childhood memories and I strongly recommend staying at the apartments. They are self contained, you can use the hot plates to cook, you can make tea or cool coffee with pods provided, and all kitchen cleaning as well as bathroom hygiene for cleaning yourself. Very happy, thank you so much!!

Property is located in close proximity to the town centre, is quiet and surrounded by beautiful trees and gardens, and has a stream flowing at the back. It has abundant bird life.
The property is needing some 'tlc', e.g. curtains falling off the rods, duct tape on the floor and screen door to balcony.

Adequate place to stay
Cedar Apartments is adequate for a short stay. The apartment leaves something to be desired. It is rather tired and tatty - and the vinyl flooring felt sticky. The facilities are quite basic - it has a microwave and a toaster/griller, but no stove, so self-catering is a challenge. The furniture is just adequate - there is no coffee table, for instance. The heater is not very good, but if left on high it is adequate. The only really good feature of the apartments is its location - a few minutes walk from the main street. But we were fortunate to get a good place to stay in Bright - which is a brilliant holiday destination - at a busy time of year.
