Casa Armadillo is located on the private and secluded Resort of Peninsula Papagayo just minutes to the Prieta Beach Club where you can enjoy a relaxing day in a cabana by the beach or by any of the pools. Workout surrounded by nature and with the ocean sound, or relax in our amazing Spa with unique room desings. The beach club not only offers relaxation, the kids club is open daily with new and different activities for the little ones to be entertained and learning. Our explorer team has all kinds of activities for all ages to enjoy around the Resort such as bike ride, day or night hikes/walks, jaguar camp, canoeing, bioluminescense paddle, freediving, mangrove tours by boat or walking and much more that gets prepared seasonally!

Beautiful location and great amenities

The location of the villa is terrific and the views are spectacular. There are also lots of comfortable bedrooms and large gathering spaces. The amenities are ideal with beach access and equipment.

Property has great views. PEXS did a good job. We have stayed here before. This time the house smelled just a tad musty. Maybe because of the rainy season. We still enjoyed our stay.

Casa Armadillo

The so-called "house" feels for like a castle! I've been to CR before but never experienced such a magical place as Peninsula Papagayo and the Armadillo house. Outside of the confines -- we surfed, zip lined, took a boat cruise, and much more. But we always made it back for the sunset at the house's unbelievable infinity pool with a view. I would recommend this house to anyone who, in their right mind, is looking for the CR experience of a lifetime.

Casa Armadillo

WOW!! From beginning to end our stay was completely unforgettable from monkeys crossing the porches every morning to the beautiful sunsets every evening. We had a group of 11 people from ages 21-28 and this house and resort accommodated every wish, want and desire each and every one of us had; from surfing to just relaxing to eating great meals inside and out of the Four Seasons compound. Some of the great experiences we had while staying at Casa Armadillo: We had the pleasure of surfing Witches Rock and Ollie's Point 3 days, which was set up through the efforts of Cesar and Darrell in which we made a phone call or email with our desired dates and they did all the work (Thank You!). We were extremely lucky in getting the opportunity to surf with Cesar at a secret spot he discovered in which we were the only 4 people in the water (Thank You!). Lastly the house is absolutely incredible if you have the choice of staying at this location over another; choose this spot you will not be disappointed! It has everything you could possibly need; space, no neighbors, speakers throughout the inside and outside of the house, possibly one of the most beautiful views you could imagine, an awesome pool, massive bedrooms with incredible bathrooms and so much more. I can 100% recommend this house knowing that you will not be disappointed. Thanks again for making our stay truly incredible.

Paradise

I stayed in this residence in January 2015 and had one of the best vacations of my life. This home provides enough space and privacy for multiple couples. It's also very family friendly. It's beautifully decorated but extremely comfortable/livable at the same time. The views are breathtaking and the resort amenities are an added bonus. It's gets 5 plus stars in my book!

THE BEST VACATION EVER!!

Bruce D. – Los Angeles, CA Trish and I - and our guests, who are longtime Exclusive Resorts members - thought that the house, as well as the attention and service provided by Cesar and the destination concierge and the housekeepers, were all exceptional. The house was magnificent, very well-situated and well-appointed, with plenty of room for two families with children. We were very impressed by the little unexpected touches – the very professional housekeeping support, the fact that the chef had gone out of his way to cater so well to our guests who have a gluten-free diet, having a present delivered to one of the children who was having a birthday, the organization of chefs and masseurs, and the willingness to be available throughout the holiday to provide advice and assistance. The service and attention was flawless in so many ways and made the trip so much enjoyable.

Papagayo Paradise

We stayed one week over XMAS 2013 at a home managed by PEXS. The house has a spectacular setting with a direct view of the ocean. We had 2 families (4 adults and 5 kids) staying at the house and everyone was very comfortable. There are 2 expansive master suites that both sets of parents were very happy with- kids were in a few different rooms ranging from Queen setups to multiple twin beds. The multiple decks on the house are gorgeous and there are no neighbors to see except the ocean, you truly feel like you are at your own 5 star resort. Kitchen was very up to date and we had many gatherings in the dining room for dinner or out at a table on the lower deck. PEXS does a great job managing the property- Carlos, Caesar, and Magaly helped us with every aspect of our trip; reservations, ziplining, volcano hikes etc. The property also has rights to Prieta Beach Club which is a great private beach escape. We visited the Four Seasons property during our stay and we really enjoyed the Prieta Club much better since it was just as beautiful with a lot less people. Also the Club has a great restaurant (Marea) which we visited several times during our stay. Added bonus for the house is it has a walking path down the hill that takes you directly to the club in about 10 minutes. Otherwise be prepared to drive because this part of the country is very hilly. Overall a wonderful trip and perfect setting for a large family or larger group of 10+.

Excellent house and great service!!!

We recently stayed in Peninsula Papagayo, and we rented two properties during Thanksgiving. Everything was excellent the PEXS team oganized all of our activities and able to make last minute changes for us with no problem. They organized a Thanksgiving Dinner for us that AMAZING!!!!!. The facilities of the resort are great. The golf course and beach are beatiful, but we spent a lot of time in this home enjoying the pool and views. We even saw a whale jumping. Our vacation could not be better.
