About this property

Come, sit, and relax on the porch of one of our newly built cabins. Take in the fresh air and enjoy the countryside views, wildlife, farm animals, and breathtaking sunsets. Our four cabins, Faith, Hope, Mercy, and Grace, each feature their own rustic/elegant style and charm. All the cabins sleep two on a king sized bed with luxurious sheets and bedding, while the bathrooms each feature a large shower and copper sink.

The kitchen has a full sized refrigerator and microwave oven along with a full size coffee maker with teas and other goodies.

We have a beautiful gazebo outside in the common area with a charcoal grill and a large table to gather around and enjoy the country life. Don't forget to bring charcoal and something to grill!

Our cabin, Hope, has an outdoor shower to enjoy along with a private deck with lounge chairs in the back to sit and relax. The stars are amazing at night from this deck view. THIS OPTION IS ONLY FOR HOPE GUESTS!

We are out in the country but only 6 miles from Fredericksburg where you can walk down Main Street, shop, eat wonderful food, check out the wineries, or even learn a bit of history at the Admiral Nimitz museum. Marktplatz on Main St. is where most of Fredericksburg's sought-after events take place.

I have stayed at God's Country Cabins a number of times. It has always been a wonderful experience. The. cabins are very clean and comfortable and the setting is quiet and peaceful. Those are the things that are the most important to me. These cabins are by far the best place I have stayed in the Fredericksburg area.

great quiet place to stay

The place was clean and very nice. It was very quiet and had wildlife to see. Lots of deer. Was very nice sitting outside on the porch in the rockers and enjoying the deer and the evening.

Gods country cabins

This is our second time to stay there. We won't stay anywhere else when visiting Fredericksburg. The host are wonderful. The cabins and location is fantastic it is the perfect spot to relax and unwind after being out and about all day. Close enough to town and the wineries but yet in the countryside for peace and quiet

A quiet, peaceful accommodation!

This is our second time staying at God’s Country Cabins. Each time we’ve stayed in the Grace cabin and will continue to come back for our trips to Fredericksburg. It’s peaceful, quiet, and not too far from Fredericksburg. And we love the welcome cookies too!

Wonderful stay!

The cabins were very clean! The king size beds were comfortable too. I was never much to hang out on a front porch until staying in the God's Country Cabins. So quiet and peaceful and beautiful. We'll be going back. This property has a great set up for friends weekend getaways.

Perfection!

Quiet comfort

We love this property. It is quiet, dark skies and so comfortable. We've stayed in several of the cabins and Grace is our favorite. Perfect for a quiet couple's getaway and yet very convenient to downtown. A gem.

Cabins in God's country

The God's country cabins are the perfect get away. All the amenities are there and more. You might want to warn customers that you have to cross a low water bridge to get there in case of heavy rains coming. We will definitely be coming back to God's country cabins

God's Country Cabin is a quaint little cottage in the woods. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay there. The cabin was equipped well. However, we would have liked a cook top so we could prepare our hearty breakfast. We improvised using the microwave. We will definitely make a return visit.

Grace Cabin

We've stay several times at Grace and we love the peace and quiet out there. This time we noticed the water had a terrible smell. The bed needs a new mattress, killed my back. Otherwise we love the cabin. Very pretty and clean.

All four couples of us had a delightful time at God's Country, the cabins are just perfect and it was great that we rented all the cabins, it was our place. Only one suggestion, perhaps having some small bar soap would be handy. Otherwise, perfect.

Relaxing and peaceful

Thank you for sharing this wonderful place with the rest of us. Truly “God's Country “ very neat, clean and beautifully decorated. My husband brought his hammock placed it on some trees nearby and relaxed, also the area is away from the busy town. A perfect place to sit on the rocking chairs and enjoying the country side views. We booked for next year the day we left! Our friends did too! Cookies and wine made it extra special! Will definitely recommend this place!

Absolutely amazing!!

We feel in love with Grace!! From the moment we pulled up to the gate, we knew we were in the right place. It was so serene and quiet. The cabins were so well taken care of and beautiful. Grace was perfect!! We opened the door and could smell fresh pine wood!! What a great smell!!! The cabin was so well kept and beautiful. There were fresh baked cookies. There was coffee, teas, snacks, sodas, and water. There were clean towels. There was wonderful shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The couch was a reclining couch. They thought of everything when they did these cabins!! We loved our stay and could not have been happier!!
