About this property

It's fall in the Ozarks!!!

You will never want to leave this place....that's just how you will feel..the beauty of the lake and the wilderness are breathtaking at this lakefront home. The Lake House is an all season getaway. The summers are filled with fishing, swimming, skiing or boating. Just relaxing on the huge screened in porch watching the sunset is so wonderful. Fall brings brilliant fall foilage, football games to see and craft fairs to attend. Winters will be cozy with the native stone fireplace blazing as you cozy up on the couch. Spring is the perfect time for hiking and picnics.

We offer 2 bedrooms. The master has a queen bed, the guest room has 2 twins. There are 2 full baths, a study with a couch and drop dead views of the lake, along with a wonderful den, dining room with dining table for six, complete kitchen and full utility room.

The home is furnished with all major appliances including dishwasher, washer and dryer and ceiling fans throughout. The kitchen is fully furnished with utensils, dishes and cookware.

The den is furnished with TV/DVD and wood burning fireplace. There is access from the den to a huge deck facing the lake to the west. To the south from the den is an extra large screened in porch with wicker furniture and iron dining table and chairs.

Our home is located just 5 miles east of the Prairie Creek Marina area. The Marina area has a swim beach, picnic pavilions, boating launches and a full service Marina.

We are located 8 miles east of Historic downtown Rogers, only 7 miles from the beautiful War Eagle Mill, 34 miles from quaint Eureka Springs and 30 miles from Razorback Stadium..hosting the best football in the SEC. We are 25 miles from XNA Airport.

Our goal is for you and your family to have a wonderful relaxing time in the Ozarks. We want you to experience true southern hospitality and beauty.

Magnificent Lake View

Great view of Beaver Lake. Close to many areas of interest. House needs some updating and maintenance and furniture getting a bit worn. Overall though, a relaxing place with plenty of charm. Would recommend to all.

Lake views

The property was a cozy place on the lake. Everything you would need was available, even firewood for the fireplace, a very nice touch! The views were nice, but a little TLC is needed for this lovely place. This location was convenient for the area and made it possible to travel back and forth to Eureka Springs or hiking trails. The town of Rogers has a great downtown area to explore.

Fabulous location

Everything was as expected- easy check in, great view, close to lots of attractions. We were about equal distance to everywhere we wanted to go. Gorgeous deck, which is a huge bonus for me!

Spectacular Sunsets

We most enjoyed the sunsets off the deck over the lake. However, the trees do need to be trimmed back to take advantage of the great view. The large home offered movies, music CDs and games. Decor is pleasant but outdated. The screened-in porch is nice to enjoy dining; however, the screens are damaged so not completely bug free. TV only gets analog channels and CD player quit mid-play. The stove proved a little challenging as I had forgotten to change the cycle on the oven from pre-heat to bake - made our roasted vegetables a little darker than planned! The kitchen was well-stocked with cooking utensils. It is a pleasant kitchen to work in.

Just the relaxation we were looking for

The house was tucked away in the wooded hills overlooking Beaver Lake. It was a perfect place for my husband and I to get away and relax, just enough space to spread out in the house. With two living/sitting rooms and two separate decks/porches, we could each have quiet time without disturbing the other's quiet time. Beautiful drive through the woods to Rogers or other nearby towns and activities. Well-furnished and comfortable.

Beautiful lakeviews

This comfortable house by the lake was very comfortable, had everything we needed practically and we quickly felt at home. We especially loved the big screened in porch and. Back deck. Good location with grocery stores within a few miles and some hometown restaurants to try. Of of course THE LAKE!!!! Thanks for allowing us to stay in your comfy lake house.

Great stay

The house was good. The only complaints we have was the parking. We had motorcycle trailers and very hard to get in and out of area. A heads up on the parking might of help. The 2nd bedroom only had twin beds. We had to flip a coin to see which couple was sleeping in there. A queen bed with maybe a day bed would of been better. Other than that we had a great time.

Nice Place

My husband and I had a nice day at this house. Although I will say that the bed was not super comfortable and the kitchen was lacking some items… Or maybe just the drawers were so disorganized things were hard to locate. We did have a difficult time figuring out what to do with our boat and trailer. We didn’t realize until arriving that there is nowhere to park the trailer and not even a place to turn around well once we got to the property. It was a bit tricky and the marina would not let us leave our trailer there. We ended up talking to a neighbor and he let us park the trailer on his property which was very kind. Overall it was a fine stay but the house would be nicer if it was a little bit updated and a little more organized (kitchen).

Beautiful View

We had such a wonderful time at Meagan's home. The view is gorgeous and the beds are very comfortable. We were able to be in Eureka Springs in 45 mins and Rogers in 15 mins.

Beautiful views of Beaver Lake

We really enjoyed our time here. The property was equipped with everything we needed. It was great to be able to relax and watch the beautiful sunset over the lake after a long day of exploring NWA.

Expect the unexpected

This was the worst VRBO experience I have ever had. Good things first: the property was as described, fully furnished. Appliances and furniture are old, but not bad. We liked it at the first instance until the next morning. Yard workers woke us up at around 7am, and didn't leave until 10am. They were blowing all sorts of dirt, and hence, we couldn't use the patio at all. Privacy was taken away, and the noise added discomfort. All I can say is: expect the unexpected. The manager knew yard workers were scheduled for the morning, which isn't expected. I have taken videos and pictures of the noise.

Quiet Lake house with a spectacular view

We loved the view, layout of the house was so nice with lots of places to sit and relax. Of course, we used the screened-in porch a lot playing games and enjoying the wind chimes! The beds were comfortable. It was so relaxing and refreshing to be here! We did drive to Fayetteville and Bentonville separate days.

Pleasing Home with Spectacular View!

Open the door and walk in--Bam! Hit with a stunning view from the get-go. Even though we wanted to tour Eureka Springs, we were sure to be back to the house by sunset--no doubt the piece de resistance of the stay! Cozied up to the fireplace at night, enjoyed coffee in the sunshine on the screened in porch in the morning (could hear the squirrels playing in the trees!). The sheets and mattresses were incredibly soft. Plenty of entertainment to choose from: movies, board games, books (even some classics!). Everything was as advertised. Thank you for a wonderful respite from city life. Charming stay!

Beautiful views close to Northwest Arkansas cities

Mother/daughter were in Northwest Arkansas in November to do things in Rogers, Bentonville and Fayetteville, and to relax (away from work!) and enjoy the fall weather. This place was perfect for a mixture of hanging out /relaxing and enjoying all NWA has to offer. Great views of the lake, clean property, quiet neighborhood and short drives to all NWA has to offer.
