Quaint, 900 sq ft 2 story home with a loft. It sits right next to Fountain Creek; the sleepy year round stream that is fed by the snow melt from Pikes Peak. The new well-equipped kitchen and downstairs bath were just completed. Open the windows and you'll hear the sound of the stream. On the deck is a grill and large table that seats 8-10. Across our bridge is a beautiful shaded lawn picnic area.
This home sleeps 8, including the sleeper sofa. Queen in the bedroom, double bed in the loft and bunk beds in the loft. There is a full bath with tub/shower upstairs and a new full bath with shower on the main level.
The new kitchen with serving bar will be a gathering place for sure.

We had a great stay for our sprig break vacation. The cabin was clean and the location was fantastic. Our family of 5 had no problems with sleeping arrangements or bathrooms in the cabin. There were lots of local activities that the kiddos got to enjoy. We were even greeted by several deer outside the cabin on our first day!
Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The house was very cozy and accommodating. The creek that ran next to the house was a soothing sound specially at night. Location was great close to nearby town and also had a nearby neighborhood playground with a frozen lake for kids to play on. Overall was amazing and Scott was very friendly and helpful. Thank you!
The owners made us feel welcome with Christmas lights and decor. The house was very homey and just what we needed. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances and dishes and the grill was perfect. Loved every minute
Truthfully, the pictures don’t do this place justice. It’s a wonderful & cozy cabin-like home, stocked with most everything you could ever need, except for food. Our family had the most perfect and peaceful Thanksgiving holiday in the midst of this beautiful home and it’s scenic wintery wonderland near Pikes Peak! We hope to come back in the spring time!
Beautiful stream right off deck. Loved having morning coffee there every morning. Could hear the stream from bedroom every night. Quiet area, convenient location. Saw the little mule deer family several times.
Comfortable beds, showers, easy to use kitchen. Would stay again.
Cozy cabin getaway with a beautiful stream right in the back yard. Absolutely amazing to listen to the stream at night. Great porches for night sky gazing. Location is great, close to many exciting attractions. Definitely recommend!
My husband and I had a wonderful vacation. The cabin was perfect; kitchen was roomy and well stocked, beds were comfortable, very clean. Outside in the back the deck was large, both grill and deck were in excellent condition, scenery was beautiful. I wanted to stay longer. Will plan on renting this cabin again.
The property was perfect and by a stream. We were in a quiet and peaceful area. It was a restful time to sit and listen to the creek and look out and up the mountain. You are near grocery stores, restaurants and gas stations. There's a park and lake nearby. My parents and I had a great time. Inside the cabin you had everything you needed - like your own home.
Our boys loved this cabin! Its so cool & has a great view and a creek in the backyard! Well worth the money spent, and in a very good location to all the activities around! We definitely recommend and we will definitely be going back!! :)
We had stayed here before and enjoyed our time. The cabin is in a great location, well-stocked and very clean. Our only issue is we couldn't figure out where to take the trash so we took it with us. Would definitely return. Thanks.
Excellent location! Clean and comfortable next to mountain stream!
Very convenient to restaurants and shopping in Manitou Springs, Woodland Park, and Colorado Springs! Not to mention, too many outdoor activities to mention… The entrance to Pikes Peak is just a mile or two down the road. It is an awesome cabin RIGHT next to a beautiful mountain stream! Do check your sleeping arrangements… there is only 1 private bedroom upstairs with queen bed and bathroom. There are bunk beds next to a queen bed in upstairs “area” that is open to main living area below. Middle of the night bathroom visits from that “area” require a trip through the private bedroom or down the stairs to 1st floor. That being said, it is a very charming and comfortable cabin, modern kitchen & bathrooms, large deck with table and awning, beautiful backyard and did I mention a gorgeous mountain stream? Lol. Oh… no A/C, but come on! Who needs A/C in the mountains!! If you can make the sleeping arrangements work for you, rent this cabin and you will LOVE it!
We loved our stay in this cabin! The stream and deck were amazing and house had everything we needed. Location was great for accessing all the things we planned to do (Pike's cog rail, ziplining, rafting, golf, Garden of the Gods).
We loved this house the moment we stepped into it! It was by far one of the best rentals we've ever stayed at. We cooked all our meals in a perfectly equipped kitchen. The sleeping arrangements worked well for our group of littles, ages 14 to 7 years old. From the location, to the amenities and grassy area across from the house... the kids loved all of it. There are tons of special small touches around this house, outside and inside.. including a supply of warm fuzzy blankets. The owner has provided everything one could need on a vacation. (Way beyond a normal vacation rental.) Many a card game was played on the table. The fishing pond was right down the road, walking distance, and full of trout. Thank you for helping us make such beautiful memories with our grandkids!
This cabin is located so close to all of the attractions of Colorado Springs with the feeling of seclusion. The stream is beautiful and with the balcony sitting area we just sat and listened to it.
I would have given this a 5 star but the bed were Really hard and the heater continually runs and is quite loud.
But overall Wonderful place to stay!
Our family came from MN for thanksgiving to visit our daughter who moved to CS this summer. All daughters are in super intense college and looking for a relaxing getaway in the mtns. It was awesome! Beautiful hikes in every direction as well as a decent sized town close enough for supplies. We were super impressed with how well stocked the kitchen was!! Such a blessing since we did a full scale thanksgiving dinner. Only thing we had to buy was a roasting pan! Wonderful, cozy relaxing and clean getaway. Thank you!
Big thank you to our hosts! Our stay at this adorable cabin was better than we imagined! Check in is very easy. The area is quiet and location is perfect to so many activities and attractions. The house is clean and comfortable with all the amenities youcould possibly need. The best part is the deck and the stream in the back. It was cold while we were there but we still spent lots of time out there enjoying the peacefulness of the stream flowing by. It was the perfect getaway and I highly recommend choosing this little gem for a relaxing vacation.
Cozy and had everything you needed with close and easy access to all the things you’d want to see.

Why they chose this property
The patriarch of our family purchased this property in 1957. His greatest joy was watching others enjoy the Colorado mountains he loved so much.
What makes this property unique
It's very unusual to find a beautiful cabin so close to conveniences yet affording a quiet restful retreat next to a clear mountain stream. All of the Colorado mountains can be explored in day trips from this central location.
