This cabin is situated in the spectacular Douglas Lake Resort. It is perfect for a family vacation or a romantic getaway. You are surrounded by the seclusion of the wilderness and lake. There is a community pool, playground and club house within walking distance. Located next to the pool is the boat ramp for an easy entrance into the lake. Just a short 15 minutes to Sevierville, 20 minutes to Tanger Outlets and Governor's Crossing, 20 minutes to Dollywood/Splash Country, Wilderness at the Smokies Waterpark and 30 minutes to Gatlinburg and The Great Smoky Mountain National Park.

Very nice!
We had a wonderful time. The driveway is very cumbersome for large vehicles. Also, the hot water heater seems to be very small as it started to run out before we finished showering. Other than that, everything was perfect.

Relaxing Hide-Away
Our stay was relaxing. This was the perfect place to get away from the real world and connect with each other. The rocking chairs overlooking the lake gave a perfect place to share time. No noise and distractions. The Hide Away we all needed.

The cabin was comfortable. The dock and the steps down to the lake could use a little maintenance. It was very relaxing and peaceful sitting in the rocking chairs overlooking the lake.

Almost heaven.
Not West Virginia (where my wife is from) but beautuful scenery, cabin, view from the deck, and weather. We had a great time. Isolated at the cabin but a short drive to shopping and tourist activities. Highly recomend

I absolutely loved my stay. The only down side was the parking. We had a boat and had to park separate from the house. But it was secure and safe. Otherwise, everything was great with an amazing view. Will be returning!

Cozy stay with great Lake access
Our third stay here so obviously we like it! Overall clean and comfortable with everything you need. A little attention to detail with getting different size glasses and more dishes to eat from would be helpful! A couple of wine glasses maybe. Having a private dock is a must if you have a boat and this one is in good shape, a couple of boards are needing replaced but it’s overall great. The cabin is always clean and beds are very comfortable. The pull out sofa sleeper is comfortable as well. The outside is in need of a good cleaning lots of cobwebs and windows are dirty. The porch is nice with a great view of the lake.

Cozy Cabin
We really enjoy this cabin so much. Its away from all of the craziness and we especially love the wood burning fireplace. Just a sweet place to get away from things for a few days.

Cabin was exactly as described. Nice & Cozy. Beautiful view. Would recommend backing down the shared drive. Perfect location if want quiet place off the beaten path.

Hideaway with a view
We loved the view from the cabin. I wish we had known that they drain the reservoir in September so you really dont have access to the lake.we had a few hiccups like the porch lights not working( it took a few days for the homeowner to fix the problem) also there where alot of cobwebs that i feel the housekeeping should have addressed. The nightlights didnt work so we went to the dollar store to buy new ones. We went to do laundry only to find out the knob to turn the machine on was broken(wish the owner would have told us)overall we did have a great vacation but probably wouldn't go back to Douglas Lake after labor day.

We Love Hideaway with a View!
Another great trip at Hideaway with a View! The house is perfect for our family of 3!!! We put our boat in at the ramp in the community, store our trailer in the trailer lot, and keep the boat at the private dock all week. The cove the cabin is in off Douglas Lake is perfect for paddle boarding. The new steps down to the dock are a welcome addition. Cabin was clean, A/C was cool, view is incredible as always! Close enough to Pigeon Forge that we went out to dinner every night. Husband says to make sure you always back down the driveway and make a left when leaving. I can’t believe people are complaining there isn’t enough TP in these reviews. You’re supposed to bring your own people! (Ok, just had to say it!) If you ever want to sell, please give us a call!

What a view
Clean. Well stocked kitchen. Very Comfortable beds. Incredible view. Very nice dock, we brought our boat. Great porch to sit and drink Your morning coffee and enjoy the view. Steps to the dock not for the faint of heart but that is very normal For this lake. Enjoyed our stay, wish we had stayed longer!

Great cabin on the water!
Very clean and has most necessities. I had to buy toilet paper and paper towels, only one extra roll provided and we stayed 7 nights. Needs more dinner plates (there’s only 5) and glasses, wine glasses would be great! It’s a great cabin right on the water, the private boat dock is great and in good shape. Great location as well!

Perfect Few Days at Douglas Lake
This was my second time at this property, again we enjoyed our time in this awesome place. Love waking up and drinking coffee on deck over looking Douglas Lake. This place is worth the stay, not to far from everything. A 5 ⭐ stay.

Lovely View of Lake
This is the second time we have stayed here. Waking up with the water view is wonderful, so relaxing. Very quiet neighborhood and was perfect for our 35th wedding anniversary. Just a short drive to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.
