We were so excited to arrive in Nice and find that our apartment was only blocks from the Mediterranean!! Super location to grocery stores, bakeries and more! It was within walking distance to restaurants and shopping! Perfect!
This beautiful and charming apartment was spacious enough for the seven of us. It's in a great neighborhood, close to shops, cafes, and the beach. There was excellent communication and a seamless check-in/check-out. We highly recommend staying here!
My family had a great stay at this apartment. It was a great location to the beach and the neighborhood was very cute . The apartment was huge and incredibly spacious - great for families.
This place was phenomenal! The host was very flexible and everything was walking distance. Also one of the most beautiful places I have stayed at in a VRBO.
This location was everything as promised. It was clean, very close to the beaches and spacious. The apartment did get VERY hot and there was no AC, it is also located on an active street corner which was loud throughout the evening.
We had a wonderful stay in this unique apartment. The suburban neighbourhood was away from normal tourist areas, but close enough to access everywhere by tram. The Promenade des Anglais was only a few minutes away. The huge space perfectly accommodated 5 adults including 2 couples. We thank Sara Jane for organising our check-in to fit in with our early arrival in Nice.
This is a terrific apartment in a good building in a very good location. The apartment is spacious, and well arranged and furnished. Wifi was good, same for hot water. Location on the first floor made it easy to get up and down by elevator or staircase. The Promenade is two blocks south and the Alsace-Lorraine tram stop is two blocks north. Bus lines to various locales are within two blocks as well. (10 trip tram/bus ticket is an amazing value--especially when using Apple maps or Google maps to plan your route.) Location is an easy walk to the old town market, but also has great options for everything in the neighborhood--grocery stores, restaurants, bakeries, pharmacies, produce shops, chocolatiers all within two blocks. Street noise was not much of a problem, though this is the center of a city so it won't be garden quiet. Highly recommend.

I love this apartment in Nice!!! It's safe, quiet and clean. We have had a very nice stay and there's a very big table in the kitchen we had many nice dinners around the table. What's more, the host and Sara are really nice when we had an emergency in Nice, she kindly extend our stay. It really helped us a lot!!! I will definitely recommend this apartment to other travellers~
Beautiful apartment in an excellent location. It was a wonderful Family stay in Nice. Apartment was very large, immaculately clean and centrally located. We spent most of our time sightseeing in the area but it was lovely to return to the apartment. The owners and Sara Jane were very responsive. Thank You for the lovely stay. The Allen Family
We loved our stay at this apartment. We were 5 women in our 60's, and it suited us perfectly. We felt safe at this location. Comfortable beds, nice couches to relax in the living room, big dining table. Lovely décor throughout. Hosts easy to communicate with. Walking distance to many sights, restaurants, and the beach. Loved our stay here.
We loved the apartment, lots of space, and a wonderful location. Unfortunately, we were in the middle of a heat wave, so had difficulty staying cool and sleeping. An AC unit in the bedrooms might help. Overall, a fantastic apartment, with lots of history. the owners were wonderful to work with! Thanks
Our stay was from June 9-15, 2022. During this time there was construction in the streets all around the building which made it very noisy from early morning til at least 5:00pm. There is also a lot of night traffic and it’s extremely noisy until around 2:00am. Therefore, a quiet, peaceful night was impossible, especially since we had to leave the windows open 24/7. It was also very unusually hot while we were there and there were only 3 small fans, which made for difficulty in sleeping. There needs to be larger stand fans in each room, including the living room, as there is no AC in this beautiful older building.
There should be a face to face meeting with someone from the property management office to go over aspects of the apartment. Example - we had no idea how to use the washer/dryer combo as the instructions weren’t very clear and we never could figure it out. There were some cosmetic things that need to be fixed or taken care of, which I explained to the mgr over the phone. All in all we enjoyed our stay but unanimously decided that if we were to return, it would be after the construction is finished (expected by late fall, 2022) and either in the spring or fall when it’s cooler weather.

First of all, Valerie was a great host and communication with her was always easy and straightforward.
The apartment was probably even more spacious than we expected, being very well located in Nice. Although it did not have A/C, the provided fans proved to be adequate for a July vacation. The furniture and decor were a bit too vintage, and unfortunately there were some difficulties with the water drainage that took a full 24 hours to be fixed. Thankfully, Valerie managed to locate us in a second apartment for that night in order to be able to take showers, sleep, etc.
We also rented a car for a few days and while the parking situation is quite difficult on the streets around the building, there is a public car park near Palais Massena (250m from the apartment) for about 20€ per overnight stay.
Overall, we definitely enjoyed our stay there.
This apartment offers three big
Bedrooms 2 1/2 bath.
Master suite with tub toilet and sink en suite totally separate from other two bedrooms with toilet.
Kitchen well equipped for our chef to make dinner's each night.
Organic market around the corner.
Snd 1 1/2 blocks to the beach.
I will definitely stay there next time in nice.one floor up is great with sn elevator to boot.
Lovely property, very traditional. Well equipped. The neighbourhood is quite noisy with traffic. It’s a good location and there are plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants nearby. Would stay again.
If you are looking for a wonderful location with easy access to the beaches of the Mediterranean and an easy walk to Old Nice for a great dinner or some shopping, this is the perfect location for you!
It's extremely clean, well appointed, has all the modern amenities you could want combined with the old class charm of a French villa. Be to the beach in 5 minutes, be to Old Town Nice in 15 minutes, grab some wine and cheese at the market in 5 minutes and even walk to the main train station in less than 25 minutes.
The property manager, Valerie, is a true gem and so easy to work and communicate with. She is professional, courteous, and does a tremendous job of acclimating you to the apartment and Nice itself.
Our next trip to Nice will not be taken unless this gem of an apartment is available to stay.
We loved it and so did our kids.
Thanks so much!
Excellent location to the beach. Short walk to "old Nice". Using Uber the apt is 1 block from the Negresco Hotel...Would definitely stay at this property again!

Nice for Six
The building was lovely, and the apartment was generous in size for six adults. The neighborhood was great and very accessible to restaurants and sites. It was overall a Great location.
The kitchen and bathrooms were adequate.
The living room furniture is in need of replacing, the Beds were uncomfortable, pillows are flat and we could have used more towels.
While we did enjoy our stay and appreciated the location some of the amenities were less than adequate.
What a wonderful home! Our entire experience was absolutely lovely. This home is so clean and neat and beautifully furnished. Steps away from the Promenade de anglais afforded us access to all that Niece has to offer without having to take any form of transportation. If you are looking for the perfect place to enjoy Niece, this is it!!!!
We live and work in our own businesses in Dublin, Ireland and have been coming to France on holidays since our daughters were very young. We fell in love with Nice and the whole Cote D'Azur region when we first visited in 2007 and returned several times before deciding to invest in our own property in the city. We try to get out to Nice a few times every year and never tire of all that it has to offer.
Why they chose this property
The Carré d'Or (Golden Square) area is the premier district in Nice. Our apartment is just a block behind the infamous Negressco Hotel so the location is just perfect. In recent years, the neighbourhood has been transformed by the opening of the 2nd tramline which runs from the Port to the Airport. The Alsace Lorraine stop is just 3 minutes from the door at Blvd. Victor Hugo, so transport access is exceptional. The opening of this line has meant that the bus lane was removed from outside our apartment and replaced with a green cycling lane with trees and shrubs, creating a very tranquil immediate vicinity.
What makes this property unique
The second we saw this apartment, we fell in love with it. From the perfect location to the elegant grandeur of the building and the apartment itself. The building has been highlighted as one of the finest examples of the famous Hausmann style of architecture famed throughout the major cities of France from the 19th and early 20 centuries.
As a corner apartment, it has an amazing double aspect light filled living room. It has a wonderful sense of space throughout which strikes you immediately when you open the door into an almost 3m wide hallway that runs through the apartment into the living room in front. The second and third bedrooms are off a second hallway which gives a fantastic sense of calm, something which we really appreciate with our three daughters, now teenagers.
We completely renovated it when we bought it in 2010 and modernised it while keeping all of the original features such as the ornate plasterwork of the high ceilings and the original parquet flooring. Whenever we return to Nice, we have to pinch ourselves that we own such a magnificent luxurious holiday home.
