Sorry, but could not recomend and would not use again.
Although the bedroom and bathroom were adequate, the overall picture of the stay was substandard. The bedroom had no bedside lighting so you had to get out of bed to turn light off or on, there was only 1 power outlet in the room which on the wall opposite the beds and under the TV, which meant the ability to charge phones or other items was restricted. Walk-in-robe was cluttered with their personal photos (in boxes) and items with only 6 flimsy coat-hangers provided. The biggest disappointment was the "so called" your own kitchen which was on the other side of the house so you had to walk out of the bedroom through a gate, around past the back of the house and pool area into the kitchen. The kitchen was on the outside of the house; and enclosed in with mesh and colourbond fencing panels. There was no lighting in the kitchen apart from 2 x $3.00 stick-on LED lights from Bunnings. We can only describe the kitchen as a covered in lean-to. We don't believe it would pass any council approval. Dinning area was either a low old glass coffee table with two low cup like chairs or outside B-B-Q table and bench seats in full view of the house residences who smoke there while playing with 2 staffy like dogs. The dogs were very friendly but the last thing you need when trying to carry coffee cups and breakfast plates back and forth, is to have dogs jumping up at you to be patted. On our last morning the youngest dog clawed my arm, ripping the skin and causing it to bleed. Carrie (the owner) is a very pleasant lady to deal with but the overall stay was very unimpressive and would not use again or recommend. If this is a standard accepted by HomeStay We would not use again.
