Serenity Lane, Kangaroo Valley

Serenity Lane Cottage is located in the secluded Cedars Valley at the very northern reaches of Kangaroo Valley. From the minute you arrive in the valley the rolling green hills and epic sandstone escarpment dominate the view. Serenity Lane is surrounded by farmland where cows and wombats graze together. Our newly built farmhouse has a modern vintage vibe, with heritage features and a modern spacious layout, featuring cathedral ceilings and picture windows to draw the splendid views into the living space.

Equiped with a modern kitchen, the farmhouse has plenty of space to entertain, flowing out onto the alfreso area where you can sit back and watch the mist roll in. The farmhouse has 3 double bedrooms featuring 2 queen beds and 2 single beds/ extendable daybed. The French provincial inspired bathroom offers a clawfoot bath for a late afternoon soak after a day of exploring the local area.

Wonderful Getaway
This home was absolutely beautiful and a wonder place for a getaway. The surroundings and views are beautiful and it was a very peaceful and tidy home, it had everything we needed. The hosts were communicate and very helpful. Would definitely recommend!

Outstanding wildlife viewing! Wonderful home to stay in.
Fantastic home in an amazing valley of beauty and serenity. Every evening at dusk, whether in the backyard or the fields just in front of the entrance to the driveway, you’ll see lots of kangaroos roaming about as well as those adorable wombats. Coming from the USA it was a special treat to experience this wildlife. Whether sitting on the patio with coffee in the morning or sipping wine in the evening, the scenery and tranquillity was exceptional. Karen was super responsive with any questions we had. Would absolutely stay here again.

Wonderful place to stay. Saw many local wildlife including wombats (after dusk) and kangaroos. House very well furnished and we enjoyed using the fireplace. No issues whatsoever and internet plenty fast.

Had a lovely stay on this property, and was very happy with the booking, check-in processes. Hosts were super fast responding to any questions. Slight room for improvement with kitchen appliances and the presence of a BBQ (which was in the pics but not on site).

The location is fantastic. You feel like you are very remote, yet 15 mins from Kangaroo Valley. The house was perfect for our group of 3 couples, with everything we needed. Karen and Ben were the perfect hosts.

Our family had a relaxing stay. Beautiful walking trails, wombat spotting and star gazing. Close to little towns for cafe breakfast or shopping to stock up and just stay in the beautiful accommodation. Would definitely stay again.

Serenity indeed!
Absolutely lived up to its name "Serenity". We were a small group of tired and jaded city-slickers who came away feeling rested and rejuvenated. Enjoyed good food and wine, looking at an amazing view, within a cosy environment that had all that was needed. Thank you!

Great escape from the city. The location was absolutely beautiful. Loved the firepit, sat outside at night with friends. The cottage was clean and tidy, had plenty of games that we played too. Would highly recommend this cottage to others.

The Perfect Secluded Getaway
An amazing property that made us feel a million miles away..... albeit a short drive to the restaurants and pub. The scenery is phenomenal and our daughter was beside herself with the closeness of kangaroos, horses and foxes. A semi farm stay experience. This really is the perfect weekend getaway from Sydney. The house was awesome and the bath tub was luxurious and exactly what you want in a country house. We absolutely loved sitting on the back porch for both sunrise and sunset with the fire pit going. We won’t hesitate to book this property again.

Pros: Location as expected, cute property, host provided great instruction, bathrooms and kitchen recently done and look great Cons: very hard to get phone reception, but my biggest disappointment was the poor cleaning - downstairs bathroom esp shower not cleaned, found crumbs on couches, and overall super dusty
