Beautiful 3 bedroomed villa with private pool and lots of outdoor space and stunning views, situated on the hillside of Alhaurin de la Torre, in an exclusive residential area. It's located 15 mins drive from Malaga international airport, 10 mins from the beach and 15 mins from several well known golf courses, such as Lauro Golf and The Parador.

The villa enjoys outstanding views to Sierra de Mijas and the Guadhalorce valley. It has 3 double bedrooms where normally sleep 6, and up to 8 people can be accommodated using a sofa bed in the lounge area. It has air conditioning throughout the property, both heat and cold. It's quietly situated in one of the nicest parts of town and the perfect place for a relaxing holiday.

Open plan living room and kitchen with 70 square mts. The kitchen door opens directly onto the large patio/terrace and barbeque area leading to the pool. The living room/lounge area also opens directly to the main balcony where you can enjoy amazing views to the Guadhalorce Valley, Malaga city and the Torcal National park.

Alhaurin de la Torre Area / El Lagar area
A couple of supermarkets (Mercadona and Aldi) are located within 10/15 mins walking distance, as well as some restaurants and bars. The Villa is a couple of miles away to the centre of town where you will find additional amenities, including shops, bars, restaurants, supermarkets, banks etc. There are many beautiful and sandy beaches within very easy reach, such Guadalmar, Los Alamos, Torremolinos, Benalmadena, aqua parks, aquariums and horse riding activities and the upmarket, cosmopolitan resorts of Marbella and Puerto Banus.

And for those of you who love adventure and trekking the villa is 40 mins drive to Caminito del Rey ( which is a well known walkway, pinned along the steep walls of a narrow gorge in El Chorro. It is also described as the world's scariest footpath/hikes with high levels of safety.

How to get there:
There are flights to Malaga from most main UK airports and most EU destinations. The airport is located west of the city of Malaga, approx 7 kms (about 15 minutes drive) to the villa. Car hire is recommendable.

Wonderful Property and Wonderful Owner!

My wife and I are in our early 70s. We had the pleasure of renting this wonderful property in the winter of 2018. The property is exactly as presented in the website. Spacious, well appointed, impressive vistas, and ideally located in a quiet, safe residential community in a lovely town about 30 minutes drive from the heart of Malaga. The owner, who speaks perfect English, was exceptionally considerate and totally available to us. We enjoyed the experience of staying in his property very much. We give it our highest recommendation.

Wonderful Property and Great Location!

My wife and I are in our early 70s. We had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful property for the month of February, 2018. The property is well and accurately presented in the photographs on the website. It is spacious, up to date, well appointed, and with gorgeous vistas. The location is wonderful as well. The property is located in a quiet, safe residential neighborhood, in a town which itself is quite lovely; with some really excellent restaurants and just a 30 minute drive to the heart of Malaga (where we drove most days during our stay). The owner is very responsive and thoughtful, and kept in touch with us to be sure all our needs were met. We give this property and this owner our highest recommendation.

Spacious villa with great view on Alhaurín de la Torre

The villa is in the mountains of Alhaurín de la Torre. About 15mins away from Malaga by car. Spacious, well equipped villa with 2 bathrooms. Unfortunately one of the showers offered cold water only. The kitchen is big and invites to cook. The living room is very cool. The pool is quite okay and you have an opportunity to grill your meat in the garden :) You can park your car in front of the house or on the property. With a big car it was not that easy to manouver the car to the property due to parking cars in front of the entry. So most of the time we chose to park on the street. All in all a recommended place for a stay near Malaga.

Excellent base for exploring Spain!

Our family had a blast on this Villa. We got one 8 year old and one 5 year old kids and they absolutely loved the pool, our younger kid learned to swim here during our 11 days. Garden is also nice and the house is very decent given the price. There's a cool view as Alhaurin de la Torre is somewhat upper than Malaga. Villa's outdoor area itself is pretty secluded. The patio is absolutely fantastic for enjoying breakfast and late evening supper, kitchen contained everything we needed. However, I would recommend renting a car in order to get most of your trip, even though basic shops are within walking distance from the villa. Thank god for the air conditioning as we Finns like it cold when we sleep, otherwise hot.. To put things short, we are renting this place again on 2011 for an easy holiday. Spain has so much to offer if you got a car and this villa is excellent base for your trip :-)

Lovely holiday

We've spent a lovely relaxing holiday in this house in Alhaurin. Our daughter who is nearly 4 spend the whole week in the refreshing pool which was completely for private use. The neighborhood is residential and most of the people are locals. The house is at a corner and therefore there are several cars who pass the upgoing road but it did not really disturb and there is a supermarket nearby. Also the little village of ALHAURIN is only a few minutes drive and is very nice! A beautiful park, playground and a few local shops. THe nearest beach is also not far away...During the weekend the beach was very crwoded but during the week it was rather quiet (with nice bars ont the beach itself). The accomodation inside was nice and practical. Everything is groundflloor (just one stair to enter) which is a big adventage.Also airco when needed. If you have children, bring some toys with you (we left a few things for the next users!) but really...the pool is the biggest attraction! We also enjoyed sitting at the patio in the evenings! We checked at thome weather the house was still aivailable in august for the next holiday...but we weren't that lucky! We plan to come back next year! Car essential.

Villa

We stayed at the villa 26th dec until new years day, Lovely villa, woodburning fire, a bar about 5 mins away. A taxi into Alhaurin is 7 euros and to get to torremolinos is 15 euros, that is where you will find any life.A quiet area, with beautiful views, Lovely pool, although too cold to use in dec!! 2 rooms 1 double and 1 with twin beds, also another double bed in living area, on the whole, a beautiful summer rental, in winter perhaps a couple or friends wanting to get away from it all. i had my 3 year old daughter and friend with me, it was safe, a lovely area and lovely people, There is a cafe/ restaurant in alharin, Moroccan, it is a warm friendly place, nothing is a problem, worth a visit and chill out.

Villa Manzanilla was our family home for over six years and we loved it! We decided to rent it out because we know that whoever stays there will enjoy the house and its surroundings as much as we do. This Villa has a wonderful energy about it, the views are amazingly beautiful and the location were is situated is peaceful. We love to enjoy eating on the terrace admiring the valley. It's a wonderful place!
