Hale Kahanalu #4, Poipu Apartment, Kauai Vacation Rental, walk to Poipu Beach Park and Brennecke's Beach.
Cozy and affordable 720 square feet, 2 bedroom, 1 bath apartment unit just a 2 minute walk to Famous Poipu Beach and Brenneckes Beach. Portable AC in the living room and bedrooms. This property does not have a pool or lanai but is only 175 yards to the gorgeous Pacific Ocean. Second walk-up, no elevator. Accommodates up to 4 guests, including children and infants.
We provide beach towels, beach chairs, beach umbrella and a small cooler for your use during your stay.

2 King beds and pack n play crib available upon request (crib linens not provided).

This beach side apartment offers tropical furnishings, tasteful artwork and bamboo flooring.
King bed in the Bamboo bedroom and King in Honu (Hawaiian Turtle) bedroom. With living area of 720 square feet, the property is located in a small 8 unit apartment complex a block from Poipu Beach. Second floor unit (no elevator). Sleeps 4.

Prepare meals in a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and stainless steel appliances.
The unit is equipped with ceiling fans, and ocean breezes. Flat screen HD TV in the living room, Complimentary Wifi and Parking included. Hale Kahanalu is a quite 8 unit apartment complex that offers one covered assigned parking.

Hale Kahanalu means "House by the Surf". Relax to the crashing waves and feel the cool ocean breezes as you soak in the Pacific Ocean. Enjoy beautiful south-side sunsets year-round and whale watching from Poipu Beach in the winter months. This property is conveniently located a block to Poipu Beach Park rated by Travel Channel as "America's Best Beaches".

Poipu Beach Park and Brenneckes Beach offers body surfing, surfing, snorkeling, sandy beaches, life-guarded kids pond, playground, grassy park with bathrooms, pavilion, picnic tables, showers and more just steps away! Walk to Brennecke's Beach Broiler Restaurant, Brennecke's Deli or Nukumoi Surf Company.

Clean and Convenient
There is not a better location. View of the beach and a block walk. The outside of the building is dated but the inside is in awesome shape. It's in a safe place. The hosts here really communicate well, make everything simple. Little things like having oil and soy sauce in the kitchen were a big help. Also have beach chairs, towels, umbrella, etc. This is a thoughtful set up. We hope to stay again in this same property really soon!

We were there for 12 days arrived late and the condo was lovely and cool with ACs running. . Check in instructions were great. Condo was great.. comfortable beds, kitchen had most things needed! Garden Island properties were amazing to deal with. We had a couple items we needed like 2 beach chairs and a bed needed a fix and they had someone out within a few hours. Checked in with us several times to make sure we didn’t need anything else. The location of this condo is a 1 min walk to beach which gives you so much freedom to spend time in and out of the sun.Only drawback was there is no in condo laundry it’s in the building but if you’re staying for extended period this can be challenging although we hung out things .. and also there is no outdoor space to enjoy a coffee in the am but I grabbed mine and walked 30 seconds to the ocean front so that was just as good.. Highly recommend staying here .. if you’re looking for a quaint condo in a amazing location this is for you if you need perfection within a rental I would look at alternatives as it may fall short of your expectations. Great Location!
I love the location of this rental a 2 minute walk to the beach. Cozy apartment could use better knives and silverware. The living room furniture really needs improvement but you can’t beat the location. Next time I may rent another unit with better furniture and more pleasant and comfortable accommodations. But the rental process was smooth. And the apartment served our needs just fine. We were happy with our stay.

Our stay was 6 days. The condo and decor were adorable and made us feel at home. The short walk to Poipu beach and park were the main reason for booking. The cleaning prior to our stay could have been more detailed, but it didn't ruin our stay. Definitely will book again.

Great pace to stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a great place to stay while we were there. The two bedrooms worked well for our family. It's so close to both Brenneke and Poipu beaches and Brenneke bar and restaurant. Due to weather issues on the island, we were unable to eat at Brenneke's nor make use of the beach gear. We did see a few turtles on the beach, which was great for our daughter. Garden Island worked a lot with us on our overall stay and was able to get us to a different property when unexpected and very abnormal flooding occurred on the roads in the immediate area (there was over 3" rain in one night and was going to be over 2" a few days later, which would cause even more flooding). Thank you so much for the stay at this property!

Cute apartment, close to beach and turtles!
Check in and checkout were easy, using a keypad system. The bedrooms were smaller than we expected, but were fine for our needs. The kitchen was stocked with basics. The beds were comfortable and the AC was helpful on warmer days. It’s about a 2-3 minute walk to the beach park and two beaches! We saw the sea turtles in the evenings on the beach! The waves could be heard from the front room and kitchen! Old Koloa town is just a few minutes away by car, which was great for shopping, dining, groceries.

Perfect location, minutes from Poipu beach.
Comfortable condo very close to the beach. Easy access to Poipu and Old town Koloa. Very quiet neighborhood. Only down side was parking spot is super tight, we ended up turning our rental car in for a smaller car as the Murano we had did not fit. Kitchen fairly well stocked for cooking, however the BBQ had no propane and is pretty well used. Air condition works well, lovely after the Hawai’i Sun.
