The location was perfect. The balcony was great to view sunrises and sunsets. The kitchen was well stocked - had everything we needed to cook our meals. My brother in law was surprised to find a meat thermometer to use for some chicken he was cooking. Never saw that in a vacation home before. The bathrooms could use a little updating - but were adequate for our stay. There were not exhaust fans in either bathrooms - so we got used to steamy mirrors quickly. Maybe that is common for beach homes in the area? But honestly, it fit our needs with 4 adults, 2 teenagers and 2 dogs quite nicely. It was a wonderful stay!!

Needs a lot of work
The location and beach views are amazing. The beach house is falling apart. We will not stay here again.
This property doesn't have a lot of fancy bells and whistles but it is comfortable and accommodating. The best part of it is it's porch overlooking the beach, beachfront access, and a very quiet beach at that. You are close enough to gulf shores if you want some hustle and bustle or restaurants, but we loved having what felt like a private beach all week. I recommend bringing your own ice trays or buying ice as the ice maker is mediocre. Keep in mind also that this property is run by a management company and there was some slight miscommunication as to when certain deposits were due. However, it was a magical week and I would stay here again!

Liked: Location, listing accuracy
Disliked: Check-in, communication
Poor communication and cleanliness
We rented this property one day prior to heading down. On the was down we tried to co tact the rental property for check-in instructions and once we arrived realized they never sent anything. After calling, reaching out to VRBO and having them contact the owners, and waiting 45 mins at the house I finally went next door to another property of theirs and talked with that family. They sent us the email we were suppose to get with all the info. Apparently they don’t provide you with anything at the house. You have to bring your own toilet paper, dish tabs, no beach chairs, towels, salt and pepper, so we had to go buy items we would have brought with us had we of received the email. Once we finally figured out how to get into the property on our own (we didn’t hear from the company until 3 or 4 hours later) the house wasn’t very clean. Kitchen cabinets were covered in crumbs and filth, dishes and crumbs and debri on them. The out side lights didn’t work and the bedding linens were old and felt dirty. The location of the house was great and secluded but their are oil rigs all over the shore line that we weren’t expecting. Overall I wish we had of gone somewhere else. The rental company also didn’t seem very apologetic. They didn’t offer to reimburse us for any expenses because they didn’t send us the email.
