We welcome you to relax beneath towering tamaracks in the beautiful Glacier Country of northwest Montana. Bordered by Forest Service, deer, turkey and wildlife frequent use these 20 acres of quiet, scenic paradise.

Recreational opportunities abound and a crackling fire in the woodstove creates a memorable, romantic experience in this warm cabin that is sure to please!

Tastefully furnished and well equipped, our Moose Meadows cabin offers a nicely equipped kitchen with silverware, dishes, cooking utensils, oven and stove top with 4 burners, microwave, toaster, BBQ grill, ¾ bath and for your enjoyment Direct TV.
One hour from beautiful Glacier National Park and 10 min to Tally Lake. Tally Lake is a very deep lake, great for fishing or boating. Miles of hiking and riding trails in a forest setting. 20 min from both Whitefish and Kalispell. 30 Minutes to Whitefish Mountain to ski.

Nice Remote Rustic Log Cabin

Everything was very nice for my stay! Living in a single story, I had to "get used to" climbing the stairs anytime I wanted to lay down in the bed. LOL. A dishwasher, washer/dryer would be nice. But I can see where currently there is no room to add those. For me, being a "big fella", the shower area was VERY tight!!! Sort of like the bathrooms on airplanes now. Once again, there is only so much space and the cabin has been there for quite some time. Also, most other people are not as large as me!

Relaxing and Comfortable

This was just an incredible experience. The cabin is adorable, just as perfect as the photos portray it to be. It is well equipped, the owners have thought of everything and have created just the most relaxing atmosphere. Steve, the host, was such a wealth of local advice and such a kind and considerate gentleman. The cabin is a little ways off the beaten path, but it’s an easy drive into the surrounding areas and we loved having a quiet and calm “home” to return to during our stay. Co-host Sushi is as friendly as they come, too. Definitely recommend this listing to anyone staying in the area.

Perfect location

This is the perfect place to stay if you are looking for comfort and quiet but still close enough to shopping and food. The cabin has everything you need including a great waffle maker and batter! We can't wait to stay again.

The property was even more stunning in person than in photos. It was absolutely gorgeous! The cabin had everything we needed and was perfect for the three of us. Serene and peaceful cabin

My husband and I recently stayed at Moose Meadows cabin and it was our favorite place we stayed for the entire time we were in Montana. Steve and Sushi (cat) were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. The cabin itself was clean, had all of the things we needed, and the location cannot be beat. It's out of town, private, and my favorite part of the day was sitting on the porch of the cabin either drinking coffee or a glass of wine and just reading and listening to the sounds of nature on the property. Steve was very easy to work with and very responsive. He gave us numerous suggestions that we were grateful for -- every single one that we did was fabulous and we were so glad that we did them. We particularly loved the Moose Meadows waffles for breakfast -- such a wonderful treat! I highly recommend Moose Meadows cabin. You won't be disappointed.

A Little Piece of Mountain Heaven!!

Beautiful & Picturesque! EVERYTHING was welcoming, and comfy! The amenities spoiled us and Steve was super helpful & friendly. I live next door to the cabin in the main house. The cabin has been on the property for about 50 years, hunters used to come up and stay in the cabin to hunt. The area is called Moose Meadows. When purchased the property the cabin was just a shell and have been working on it for about 8 years. Added a bathroom, kitchen cabinets, flooring and insulation in the ceiling. We hope you enjoy your stay with us.

Why they chose this property

Property is bordered with state and forest service land with miles of gravel road and trails. Very quiet and peaceful setting. Fishing on Tally Lake you may catch rainbow, brook, cutthroat trout, kokanee and northern pike. Tally Lake is 445 feet deep.



What makes this property unique

Close to Glacier National Park, Whitefish, Kalispell, Flathhead Lake and Tally Lake. Miles of trails for biking, 4 wheeling or horseback riding. In the winter months snow machine and cross country skiing.

Note: We are delaying our check-in to 4pm to ensure adequate time to implement extensive CDC COVID-19 sanitizing recommendations. All towels and bedding will continue to be freshly laundered, extra care will be taken to not only clean but sanitize frequently touched surfaces such as tables, door knobs, remotes, light switches, handles, toilet, faucets, sinks, appliances and floors.
Our goal is to ensure a sanitized, clean, comfortable experience for your stay with us.

We will also supply the guest house with extra sanitizing and cleaning supplies for your comfort.
