WALK to Main Street in 12-15 minutes! Whiteface Mt. Ski Resort is only a 15 minute drive away! Enjoy the gas fireplace and beautiful cherry hardwood floors on the main floor, with granite counter tops, and new stainless steel appliances in the kitchen. There's a master king BR and queen BR on the upper floor with a newly renovated full bath. The spacious, lower floor bedroom boasts full and twin beds. The lower floor also includes a full bath and den with a treadmill . The kitchen comes fully equipped for fabulous meal making. Wonderful mattresses ensure a comfortable sleep after a great adventure in the Lake Placid area. There are 2 TVs with Roku, WiFi, and a soundbar for your media entertainment. Whether you are spending adventurous days away or taking a day's rest indoors or on the deck, you'll find our town home provides wonderful comfort and convenience. We have booked with VRBO ourselves over the years, and feel we offer the amenities you too are looking for during your Lake Placid stay. Please note that our unit is part of a close-knit townhome community with enforced quiet hours. Parking for automobiles only(2 spots). RVs, boats and trailer parking are not allowed within the community's parking lots. STR-200370

Wonderful townhome in great location!
The townhome showed exceptional attention to detail. Immaculately clean and organized. Nice new appliances. Even small details like having multi plug in adapters next to every bed to plug in all your electronics. Beautiful, cozy fireplace with electric recliners to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. I can’t say enough how much I enjoyed the place and also how Meg communicated with us and was so helpful. Definately stay here if you can. Really close to downtown as well.

An Olympic Delight
What a find. Great location. Easy access to town and Olympic Jump Training Site. This three floor unit has a fresh new feel to it and it is very well laid out and furnished. The kitchen has every possible accessory that even a great chef would expect, including a high tech coffee maker. We enjoyed watching the Bills roll over the Ravens on the big screen TV in the living room with multiple reclining couches / chairs and a fire place. The beds and all of the furniture are a step above what you find in other rental units. The owner has good taste and furnished their place well for their own use. Our family is pleased to give this unit an 5 star overall rating.

Exploring Lake Placid
This was our first experience with VRBO and it did not disappoint. The townhouse fit all our needs and was wonderfully appointed. Our communication with the owner was quickly answered. The location allowed us to walk to the Olympic Museum and the ice rink ( fantastic experience) as well check out all the cute shops on Main Street.

The condo was great. We have stayed here before and the place is exactly the same or better. The unit is well cared for and has tons of space. The beds were all very comfortable. We love the location, it is quiet, yet very close to everything.

Wonderful find!
We stayed at this beautiful property for 3 nights and no one wanted to leave. My family thanked me multiple times for finding such a great spot. The townhouse was very clean and well appointed. Beds were very comfortable, plenty of space over the 3 levels for myself, my husband and 4 children to spread out or hang together. I especially enjoyed having my morning coffee on the deck outside the family room. There were little notes in handy spots to let you know how to help take care of the property and whenever I reached out prior to the trip Meg was very responsive. I had no issues during the trip and did not need to reach out. I have rented many VRBO properties in the past but this was by far the smoothest experience. I can't say enough good things about Meg and this property. I highly recommend booking to anyone. We hope to be able to come back next year!

Meg and Steve's Place
This sweet condo in the Lake Placid was a wonderful stay for myself and my family. It was close to all of our favorite things but was wonderfully quiet. Meg and Steve have kept the place looking like a beautiful hotel suite and had all the comforts of home, if not better. They just thought of everything. I would highly recommend staying here and want to stay again. They are very welcoming and caring. Thank you, Meg and Steve.

Wonderful family stay for the eclipse
Meg was a perfect host her condo was everything she said it was, we loved the notes at the appropriate places so we could be the best guests. The location worked nicely as you could walk to the town center within 10 minutes and not worry about parking. The condo was outfitted with everything you could think of and was extremely clean. Best VRBO stay ever
My wife and I with 2 other couples stayed at Meg and Steve's wonderful townhome in Lake Placid. This is the best furnished place we've staying at and the location is great for walking to town, skiing Whiteface and seeing the sites. The townhome's kitchen had everything we needed to cook our favorite breakfasts and enjoy coffee before we all headed out for the day and so comfortable for relaxing in. Meg and Steve's directions, instructions and labels around the townhome were so well done. Their home is so organized with well thought out with instructions on everything you need to know. Thank You Meg and Steve for renting your home to us and we look forward to our next visit. Kurt, Beth, Carrie, Greg, Mark and Kathy.

Great Rental In A Great Location
We stayed for a long President's Weekend and the rental was perfect. The location is ideal, walking distance or a very short drive into town, and 17 minutes from Whiteface. The interior is very clean and fit our family easily.

Why they chose this property

Why? Mostly location, location, location! Walking distance to Main Street to shop, eat, and drink is a dream! The short SCENIC drives to ski, hike, etc.. it was a no-brainer.

What makes this property unique

Love the quiet setting, and quick access to downtown. The beautiful kitchen, dining area, and hardwood floors drew us in. The town home is just the right size, big enough for a family, but not too large to maintain.
