Very relaxing stay. Loved being on the lake. Loved being able to tie boat right to the dock and tje kayaking was beautiful! We enjoyed the biking and our morning walks with dogs. Kelly was very quick to respond to us. From the booking of property to checking in and out it was great!
Clean and nicely decorated cabin. All the conveniences you need along with a private pier just steps away. Responsive property manager. Beautiful lake and woods scenery. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

A great getaway cabin.
The cabin is great, just like the pictures show. Frontage for swimming is not the best but my kids made do. A ladder at the end of the pier would of been really nice, shore is rocky and then weedy, we put our aqua mat out in about 7ish feet of water approx. 15 yards from the pier. I would have given the place a 5 but to many trees blocked the view and there wasn't really any outdoor patio or deck space to eat outside. Also the fire pit "area" needs to be more established, its on the edge of hill and only a few people can be seated around it. For the most part I am being very picky, but had those items been addressed this place would of been even better. I would not hesitate to return for another week and hopefully someday we shall.
This cottage was perfect for our stay. The entryway had a nice bench to sit on and take shoes off when coming and going and also had a door before entering the main cottage which was really nice when trying to keep our small dog from getting out undetected.
There was a fully equipped kitchen with a toast, a coffee maker and plenty of pans to cook with. And if you are a tea drinker like I am then you are in luck because there was an electric kettle. The table has seating for six.
The living room looks out onto the beautiful lake where we watched multiple sunsets.
The bathroom was good sized and the shower worked great.
The two bedrooms are upstairs and one room has a queen bed that was absolutely comfortable and looked out over the water. The other bedroom had two twin size beds.
Outside there is a gas grill which we used once and worked perfectly fine. There also is a fire pit which seats three people comfortably. The stairs down to the dock led you to the the dock which we fished on every day and caught a bunch of fish.
The only negatives are that there is only one kayak which is fine if you want to go out solo but most of my kayaking is enjoyed with another person. Also, the aluminum boat was not something I would have dared to get into.
That being said, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely book this property again because we could enjoy cabin time and get to downtown Eagle River very quickly.
This cabin was as described. Very clean and well equipped. Loved being right on the lake with own dock. Enjoyed being able to use the fishing boat. We rented a pontoon boat a few days and the rental company was able to deliver and pick up at the lake. Very convenient to Eagle River, shopping, food, drinks.
loved everything about the place except it was a very unusually HOT 3 days and the upstairs was very warm for sleeping. If you go to this property, bring a box fan. We went and purchased one and sleeping was much better. I would stay here again for sure.
We had a wonderful five day stay here. The cabin is cozy and quiet, even though there are lots of cabins with neighbors pretty closely situated within a stone's throw on either side. The house had a great aluminum rowboat (small, but good) and a kayak for our use. We caught a fish right off the dock on the first day.
The beds were surprisingly comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked, though all the dishware was not microwave-safe, so bringing some plastic plates might be a good idea, as well as wood for the firepit. The grill is also gas, not charcoal, which was easier than we expected from the listing.
We made friends with the many chipmunks, and had many beautiful hours on Dam Lake, which was just gorgeous.
Wonderful time!

Better than a hotel
Good for day trips, a little small for 6 if staying there all the time. All in all, adequate for our needs (sleeping and breakfast).
A very clean and comfortable cabin that easily handles 6 people when the fold out in the living room is used. Great view on a lake and easy access to the nearby towns.
We had a wonderful time at Evergreen Escape! Such a cute efficient place! Decorated nicely in a northwoods theme. Wish we could have stayed longer. We will most likely come back again. Just a minor couple things. Screen door on one of the patio doors needs to be replaced. It has ripped away from handle area and down a bit. We had use of a fishing boat, but could not find the life preservers. It was the last evening so we didn’t call the manager. I’m sure he would have helped if we had. Great vacation home! Michael and Linda
Very clean, smaller but well organized cottage perfect for 2-4 people. Great view and dock worked well for my 17' boat. We were very satisfied with our stay.
The property was very nice. We were there during the heat wave. It did get hot upstairs, but when the sun went down and the strong breeze kicked in, the cabin cooled off. The cabin was clean and nicely decorated. The only issue I found was that did not know were to put the garbage and recyclables.
We had another great stay at the Evergreen Escaor.
We had another great stay at the Evergreen Escape! The only problem was we only had three days this trip. I hope to stay again very soon!!
We did well fishing under less than ideal timing and weather.
The Bucktail Inn provided an awesome Friday night fish fry and some great Northwoods atmosphere.

Great stay!
Had a great stay for an extended fishing weekend. Cabin had everything we needed for a group of four guys. Very nice views of lake and the weather was perfect! Nice location in between Eagle River and St. Germain. Kelly was very helpful with any questions. Would definitely stay again!!

This is a nice 2 bedroom home.
Not huge, but the space is very well used, and everything was neat and tidy (except for the dog hair all over the bed spread). The manager was prompt and pleasant. We had great weather except for 1 day, so we had already brought movies and games with (the bad weather kept knocking out the few stations on the antenna). While our ATVs were required to stay on the trailers at the house, there was plenty of room to park multiple trailers and the trail system is a little ways away anyway. Really can't say enough about this home. We just really enjoyed it and there was 3 of us that stayed all week and my wife's parents stayed for a night. There was plenty of room. Water was really nice and the Loons were around often :-)

The cabin was clean and very comfortable. It had everything needed for a great getaway!!
The cabin was very comfortable and is ideal for a couple or small family. The bed in the master was one of the most comfortable I’ve slept in at a cabin rental.
For the week of the 4th, the fishing was even respectable for a very hot and humid week.
Thanks for a great stay!
