Out Island Adventure For Families Wanting To Get Away From It All

12% government fee due prior to arrival. The fee is calculated based on the total for your stay and will be provided upon booking.

We are offering you choice accommodations in a luxurious townhouse overlooking the ocean in a hidden paradise only recently discovered by the rich and famous. Some of the worlds most famous movie stars reside close by and several have been married in these islands recently and came to our island to have their wedding photographs taken. We have the most dramatic shoreline in the entire Caicos Islands and then also offer tens of miles of calm beaches to allow your children and squeamish wives to bathe in a secure environment. We offer some of the most beautiful snorkeling area's and also one of the best bone fishing on the planet. Provo visitors get bored in a day or two and then visit with us to secure memories. Two bedroom unit with sleeper sofa will accommodate 6 comfortably. Ensuite bathrooms in each bedroom with marble shower/tub enclosure add to your total creature comfort.

Your vacation selection is one of the most important decisions you will make in each and every year. It affects the entire family and it must provide something for everybody.

The following descriptions are lengthy but extremely important because they outline the reason I believe you should consider us as your destination. Please take the time to read on.

We have just created a new 2 bedroom luxurious townhouse complex that lacks nothing. Almost everything you would want in a dream vacation location is to be found while staying at this Royal Hideaway Townhouse.

Central Air, filtered water, full kitchen featuring granite counter tops and islands, Marble showers and comfortable beds offering you a comfort that you will remember forever and compare all future vacations to.

We have clients that have returned for well over ten years and their testimonials speak for themselves.

Almost five miles of pure white sand await the morning walker or the evening dreamer. Millions of stars hover above in clear sight 90% of the time. Bring your star charts ! You will be tested...

In all honesty, if you want nightlife and shopping, then please select another location because our offering is for the more adventurous searching for the Caribbean the way it was meant to be. Where else can you go to see miles and miles of beach where yours are the only footprints. This will not last for long as we are beginning to develop our hidden paradise and have sold over 160 lots in the past five years.

Our weather is probably one of the most desirable in the hemisphere with an average temperature of 84 degrees, hardly any humidity because of a 10-12 knot breeze coming off the water. Our ocean maintains a temperature that hardly ever falls below 78 degree's and if it does, don a sweat shirt or skin and enjoy. The clarity and fish will still be there...

Most that return to us every few years do so because of the people, some of the friendliest in the hemisphere or the world for that matter. Others return to us because of the crystal clear ocean water alive and well with marine life waiting to be fed or photographed. You might want to invite some for dinner?

I would dare to say that our Spiny Lobsters and Conch compare in size and taste to any others in the world and are in fact catchable right off the beach or far more accessible now because of the amenities we provide in our package deals. We now offer accommodation, car and water sports equipment such as Kayaks, Stand Up Paddle boards, A Peddle Boat and snorkeling equipment as part of our package deals. We have had 32 years to get it right and believe very strongly that we have ....

We have boats and guides available at extra cost of course, to take you offshore deep sea trolling for the elusive Blue Marlin or the more accessible and cooperative Tuna, Dolphin, Wahoo and Barracuda among other species or you can just stay inshore and fish the reefs for Grouper and Yellow Tail or your favorite Snapper... WE have them all ! We don't go fishing, We go catching....

Our guides will take you where you can hunt Lobsters or Conch and if your not successful, provide you with a seafood dinner of Lobster, Fish or Conch regardless. Our following picture tell the tale... Come fill your memories and bellies on Middle Caicos, an island paradise hidden from time until now!

Great spot for family vacation with solitude!

This is our second visit to this property and we are happy to say that it was as good as the 1st! If quiet and time away from the hustle are what you are looking for, this is it. Weather was beautiful and the property in good shape after making their way though the hurricanes. Missed 'The Office' for a bit of shade during the day but the beach was just like you expect. Warm water and soft sand. Ernest Forbes was extremely attentive to our needs and does a great job with the property. A/C went out and they installed another unit the same day! Not sure it would get that service in the states.... Loved it and will be back next year(or sooner!)

Satisfied Guests!

Our group of 4 was looking for beach access that wasn't far away, and to get away from it all, and this property accomplished both. I did a decent amount of research on properties and the islands and we got what we were looking for with the Royal Hideaway. If you read through the reviews on this property, you will have a very good idea of what you are getting. The repeat stays from past reviewers is a big factor in why I decided to book this place and after staying once, I would definitely go back. The best part about the property is access to the water. Its about a 2-3 minute walk straight out from the property to get to a beautiful beach that you will most likely have all to yourself. Bambarra beach is about a 20 min walk or 5 min car ride, and is definitely worth checking out, but we ended up spending most of our time at the beach straight out from the property. The access to kayaks and stand up paddle boards through Royal Hideaway was an awesome amenity. The property itself was certainly nice enough for us! It has clearly aged over the years and salt-water has taken its toll but the property is still very nice. If you are looking for 5 stay accommodation, however, this may not be for you. Keep in mind, this is on an island that very few people live on. Minor upgrades or small construction projects would be a big undertaking due to the lack of access to goods and materials. I would recommend this stay to anyone looking and was very pleased with our experience!

Away from the world

We had some difficulties due to the absence of a contact person on site but luckily in the end, thanks to the kindness of MIlena, we were able to solve every little problem that arose. The house is immersed in nowhere with the first market or restaurant at 30km. On the other hand, during the day an expanse of white sand was almost only for us while in the evening a sky shining with stars appeared to us. Bambarra is the best beach in Middle Caicos but you have to get there by car as the beach near the house is only useful for taking mouthfuls of iodine.

Great house in Middle Caicos

We stayed for three nights here on our trip in Middle Caicos. Accommodations were nice and house was very well furnished. Wi-Fi was available in the house. The property owner Milena was very quick to respond to any questions we had which was very helpful. There is a beach within 3 minute walk and Bambara beach is a 5minute drive away from the house. There are kayaks and SUPs available in the back yard. When we took these to Bambara we had to shove these in our compact car with the hatch open so a larger car would’ve made it easier. You have to go to North Caicos for groceries and fresh food is limited so be prepared. There is a liquor store in North Caicos also with good selection. Definitely a great house for those wanting to relax in middle Caicos.

The End of the Road

Bambara Beach is incredible. Mrs Melina and Ernest did everything they could to help w process and getting comfortable. The beach is better than advertised. The quiet is the real thing. Have enough time to do a proper shop. I would advise trying to get to Provo as early in day as possible- customs were real long- had to rush the shop to make last ferry. Bring everything- bc nearest shop is 30-40 min. Bring twice the water you think you need. The home is big, spacious, well equipped. Bugs can be an issue- bring the good stuff- locals use baby oil for the no-See-ums. This place is at the end of the road- a true adventure. I reflect those who had the vision and will to build here. It’s worth the trip.

Action Vacation We'll Always Remember

We had an excellent stay at Royal Hideaway and we'll never forget our time on Middle Caicos. We stayed two weeks and were very comfortable in the townhome. The rooms and furnishings are nice, the bathrooms are great, and the kitchen/bar is pretty fancy. There were some appliance issues, but property manager Junior took care of everything without too much delay. We enjoyed the wifi and the TV with a large DVD library of fun films. The island is beautiful and relatively isolated. In two weeks, I think we explored most of what Middle Caicos has to offer, and a decent portion of North Caicos. Amazing beaches, and the water was amazingly warm. The snorkeling was pretty good - we saw all kinds of fish and a stingray. The fishing was solid - we caught snapper from the shore almost every day, and cooked up some barracuda after a boat trip with Capt D. We stayed busy and active the whole time, whether swimming, hiking, visiting caves, or taking trips out to the grocery stores and restaurants. We'll always remember this trip, and we'll compare all our future vacations to this one.

Private Paradise

Royal Hideaway was everything we hoped it would be. The condo was very well equipped, plenty of kitchen gear, comfortable beds and furniture, lots of extra towels, pillows etc., good wifi. The property manager, Mr Forbes, is a lovely man, he is close by to deal with any issues that arise. Communication with Milena prior to our trip was excellent. And what a location! The beach near the condo (ie a 3 min walk) is beautiful and secluded, and there is very little traffic. Royal Hideaway is the best “get away from it all” place we have ever visited. Make sure you have a vehicle, exploring Middle and North Caicos is a must. Don’t be afraid of the unpaved roads, most rental cars will be fine, just take it easy on the rougher spots! Most of your shopping needs can be filled at the small grocery stores in Whitby and Bottle Creek, Whitby is a 30 min drive. Most stores and restaurants accept Visa or MC, but bring some cash as well, no ATMs on Middle or North! Good restaurants : Mudjin Bar and Grill, Miss B’s, My Dee, Silver Palm, and especially go see Howard and Cheryl at the Last Chance! Favourite beach spots : 3 Mary Cay, Mudjin, Bambarra, and the beach at the very southeast tip of Middle at the end of the Wild Cow Run road, I believe it’s called either Cedar Point or Cypress Point. Snorkelling is excellent on the many accessible reefs surrounding Middle and North, and you will have no trouble booking a fishing trip with a local guide, or just go fishing! Deep sea, reef bottom fishing for snapper and grouper, flats fishing for bonefish. All are excellent! Milena and Mr. Forbes, thanks for an amazing visit to a truly beautiful, unspoiled, tropical paradise!

Quiet and breathtakingly beautiful

My mom, my daughter and I stayed at the royal hideaway and we loved it! The place was beautifully and comfortably furnished. We do wish we had brought along a few more spices but otherwise it was exactly what we were hoping for. We used the kayaks and paddle board a couple days but the wind made them a little difficult to use. We still had fun! Found some awesome shells, saw a sea turtle and a sting ray swim right by, loved Mudjin Harbor and the dragon cay. Food at the Mudjin Bar and grill was amazing! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming! Middle was so quiet and we felt like we had the island to ourselves. We went back over to Provo on Thursday and went to the fish fry. Also an amazing experience. Can’t wait to come back!

Camping with A/C

I booked the property with thoughts of a quiet beachfront vacation in mind. The location is quiet, but not beachfront. You must cross a road and walk a bug ambush path to the beach. The townhouse is in need of severe updating and the island is VERY remote, as in we are the only people left on earth remote. The beach is phenomenal, however, with nice snorkeling and is certainly private. There are zero tourist amenities on the island, but the locals are very friendly. We left after 4 nights.

Lovely home just a short walk to the most amazingly beautiful beach

The place was great for our family of 6. Just a short pathway to get to the most beautiful beach. Had the beach to ourselves 90% of the time. Good snorkelling nearby in clear water was great for kids. Perfect weather with a nice breeze. We were picked up from airport by Mr. Charlie who took us to get groceries before the ferry ride, and then picked up by Mr Forbes to get to the house. Both were very helpful. This is the perfect spot to get away from all the crowds and tourist attractions if you just want to be on a beach relaxing. We would love to come back and would recommend it for anyone who wants rest and relaxation.

wonderful relaxing family vacation!

Our family had a great time in this affordable house. We loved : - "The Office" for afternoon happy hours with Bambarra Cuba Libres. - having the whole beach to ourselves and the water changes colors- shades of greens and blues right before your eyes - walking out at low tide and snorkeling at Pelican Cay - taking family photos in front of the newly painted colorful Tiki Huts - adventures to snorkel Three Mary Cays in North Caicos and walk on the deserted Wild Cow Run ( we added some fishing floats/treasures to the Office walls) - exploring Dragon Cay at Mudjin Harbor- we had one great calm day to snorkel and the other day was too windy so we collected seashells and sea glass - dining at My Dee's, Miss B's and Mudjin Bar and Grill ( Susan shared some great info) Milena was super helpful and quick to respond to our questions- organized rides to and from the ferry! And everyone we met on Middle and North was very friendly and welcoming to share their beautiful spot. Already trying to figure out when we can return....

Almost like a deserted island!

This property is perfect for a family that is looking for some beach time and little to no interaction with nightlife and/or entertainment. The property is in very good condition with an ideal location on Bambarra! You are provided everything that you need to have an excellent vacation. Mr. Forbes was very accomodating and made sure to check on us and helped us with anything that we asked for including travel arrangements. Mr. Forbes is what we look for in good property manager. The beach was PERFECT! You could swim, snorkel and comb and not see anyone in a week. Windy which is good to keep the bugs down so bring deet and your own snorkel gear. We will be going back to this property as that it gives us the perfect level of what we look for in our vacations!

AMAZING! 5 miles of beach all to yourself!

AMAZING property and very helpful staff! We spent our first 5 nights of our honeymoon in the Shangri-La Villa and it was AMAZING. These guys really have this whole process down to a science! We were picked up by at the airport by "Mr. Charlie" who was one of the most amazing drivers. Charlie then brought us to stock up on groceries at the local grocery store. Don't worry about how much stuff you get because there is plenty of room on the ferry for whatever you buy. Charlie then took us to the ferry (about 30 minutes total from the airport, plus the grocery stop). Charlie helped us get everything to the dock and the ferry guys helped load everything in. Charlie's fee is $50. The ferry then took us to Middle Caicos which was a breathtaking ride. The ferry is $50 per person (round trip including taxes). When we arrived in Middle Caicos we were greeted by Junior. He helped us get all of our stuff into the car and drove us to the Shangri-La Villa. After helping us unload everything, giving us a tour of the property and his phone number in case of any issues, Junior left us to our honeymoon. I thought this entire process was going to be stressful, but it was the exact opposite. There is no need to worry about getting to the villa from Provo, they have it all figured out and will take care of you. The villa is a beach house split in 2, so you will have neighbors, but they are good people and gave us a ton of helpful advice. The villa had everything we needed to cook all of our meals. We cooked most of our meals on the charcoal grill (bring your own charcoal and lighter fluid). The beach is about 300 feet from the villa which makes for the short walk. We didn't see anyone else on the beach (besides our neighbors) for the first 5 days. On the day we were leaving, we saw 2 other couples on the beach, but that is it. The beach is about 5 miles of perfection all to yourself! We also found the most amazing mini-reef a 3/4 mile walk west on the beach. It was about only 10 - 20 feet into the water and was well worth the walk! We spent a couple days exploring the entire island and found some pretty amazing stuff. Mudjin Harbor, the tiki huts and Indian caves are all MUSTS. North Caicos (30 minute drive) has all the restaurants (Miss B's on Wednesday is a must!), liquor store and grocery stores. Notes: Bring your own TP and paper towels! Bring lot of bug spray as the mosquitos and gnats can be bad Snorkel stuff is extra

beautiful beachside back-to-nature

My husband and I spent 8 glorious days at this well equipped, 2 bedroom beach house. A truly remote, peaceful and natural environment. Put on a hat, some sunscreen, pull up a lounge chair and enjoy having a beach to yourself. Excellent kitchen, very comfortable, good mattresses. We had a great trip and can`t wait to return.

I was a dreamer all of my life such as you might be and I always wanted to own a piece of a rock in the middle of some tropical ocean when I could pursue my hobbies of Fishing, Diving, Spearfishing, hunting Lobster and Conch as well as my true love of nature and underwater photography.

I am now living my dream as you can see by the many pictures of my family and I enjoying our creations and what nature provides.

I built my first house on Grand Turk and then migrated to Middle Caicos when I found this relatively uninhabited hidden island paradise with some of the friendliest people in the hemisphere welcoming me with open arms and sharing their hiidden treasure beneath the waves. I had never seen such natural beauty with crystal clear water and fish just waiting to be fed or photographed. I had ventured in the past tover 20 different islands and countries but never encountered such raw beauty boasting a bountiful ocean still unspoiled by tourism or commercial design. I dropped permanent anchor and I am still here after 35 years enjoying the fruits of my labor...

Why they chose this property

I bought this piece of my hidden caribbean paradise because it offered me everything I had ever dreamed of and thought impossible because all other paradises seemed to be taken or lost to excessive tourism and commercial greed.

The fact that the Turks and Caicos were British and offered tax haven status was also a big factor and so I quietlt started purchasing private generation land and building units for our selves and like minded individuals.

We are the largest yet least inhabited island in this island archipelago with only 300 full time residents.

That is starting to change now that we have a causeway linking us to North Caicos, Restaurants, Grocery stores and Building materials. 8 new houses are planned for this coming year alone in addition to several new villas, both on and off the beach as well as a magnificent Townhouse complex, the Royal Hideaway...

Come and enjoy this piece of paradise long before it is truely discovered. At one time we were a hideaway for the rich and famous but with celebraties such as Bruce Willis, Donna Karan and Cindy Crawford moving virtually next door, this serenity wont last long. We sold over 160 lots in past 6 years and so we have truly been discovered.

Not only do you get the opportunity to enjoy our hidden paradise if even for a short while, we offer you an opportunity to virtually get 50% of your rental monies back as a partial deposit if you buy one of our many beautiful lots .. Call for additional information

What makes this property unique

Five miles of pure white sandy beach await you with a fresh tropical breeze coming off the water with little of no humidity.

You will be surprised by the comfort level and amenities we have strived to perfect over the years. Newly renovated kitchen, Living Room, Master Bedroom and Living Room await you. Outside shower recently installed to allow you to rinse of the oceanic salt water and relax in comfort....

In house water sports equipment such as Kayaks and Standup Paddle Boards, Peddle boat and motorized flats boats and a newly arrived Dinghy will surely add to your enjoyment and exploration of our island. We offer the 3rd largest coral reef structure in the entire world. The best part is that this reef formation is just a 1/2 mile offshore with many many coral outcroppings located and fully accessible directly from our shore unlike any other island in this archipelago.
