A wonderful and comfortable home on the water

We had the pleasure of spending 35 days here, and thoroughly enjoyed it. The home felt very open and roomy. There are 2 fairly large bedroom suites. The larger of the 2 has a walk-in closet. There are also 2 smaller bedrooms (i.e., 4 total). The largest bedroom suite is on one side of the house; the remaining 3 are on the opposite side. So, if you're traveling as a family and want your room to be right next to your kids' rooms, this may not be the right set-up for you. If that's not a concern, it's perfect. Each of the 4 bedrooms contains a desk and chair; thus, there are many options for working remotely. The interior is modern and most everything feels new. The appliances all seem brand-new and high-end, with a large fridge, double oven, electric cook-top, dishwasher, microwave and washer/dryer in the garage. The floors also seemed new, as did most of the furniture. All of the bathrooms have beautiful, modern and upscale tile. Overall, there's a feeling of modern glam. Wisely, most of the furnishings avoid upholstery (e.g., the molded plastic dining chairs, leather sofa) making them much easier to clean between guests. To be fair, there are some items that are a bit more worn. Some of the cabinets were showing wear, and/or missing a few handles. There were also a few drill holes that hadn't been patched, or had clearly been patched in haste. But, none of that detracted from our enjoyment of the home. The kitchen was well-stocked with virtually everything we could've needed: pots, pans, dishes, utensils, trays, pyrex, etc. The only thing missing that would've been helpful was a baking pan. The 2 larger bedrooms both have sliding glass doors that open onto the back patio. There is room in the garage for 1 car. Our favorite feature was the backyard. We spent most of our time in the pool, which was always warm, or working from the patio table. There are 5 lounge chairs, and the table that 8. We BBQd and ate outside most nights. The property manager was incredibly responsive. There were a few items that needed to be addressed when we first arrived, and he took care of them all instantly. The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet, but there are tons of restaurants nearby and the beach is just a short walk from the house. Our only suggestions would be to expand upon the house guidebook (instructions for how to use the cable TV, alarm system, etc. would be helpful), and to provide a remote garage door opener. Overall, through, 5 stars!

LBTS Great Experience

Very nice Lauderdale By The Sea (LBTS) property as described; wonderful neighborhood with super friendly people; spacious house with large outdoor area and pool; property manager Igor was always there if needed and incredibly responsive. Overall very positive experience!!
