Our 3 bedroom, 2 bath home enjoys 1 king and 2 queen beds, each with private vanity. Cook a fresh meal in the comprehensive kitchen or enjoy local eateries. Curl up by the fire with a good book, enjoy the sunset and sounds of the water feature from the screen porch, feel the warmth of the sun (or the fire pit) on the deck or get out and explore our many local waterfalls and hiking trails. Whatever your speed, we want your experience at Colby's Cabin to be amazing and restorative.

Great cabin, great location

The property is in great shape and as described. The location is far enough up the mountain to provide great views, but not so far up that it takes an extra 30 min to get there from the main road. We would highly recommend and will definitely put it on our short list for repeat visits.

Lovely Cabin

Really enjoyed our stay! Beautiful view. Kids and I enjoyed the rainbow falls hike (3 and 6 year old). Hot tub was gray fun for the kids. Hope to come again. Went to Jeter Farms on the way back home, which was great also!

The location has a nice view and good privacy. We really enjoyed the screened in porch in the mornings with the trickling pond and soaking in the hot tub in the evenings. We did get a few chigger bites while sitting outside, which the owner had mentioned could happen and is to be expected when surrounded by nature. Just make sure to wear some bug spray and/or long sleeve shirt/pants when outside. Overall a wonderful stay!

Great stay at Toxaway

The house has a very warm atmosphere, is very convenient, and was well equipped. The kitchen amenities are a bit outdated, but we were perfectly able to prepare good meals. We can highly recommend this nice cabin!

Thanksgiving 2021

Wonderful time at Colby's Cabin. Stayed three nights and wish we had planned a longer trip in this cabin. The cabin has every need, is well decorated and very comfortable for my family of five adults. We enjoyed every part of the cabin from the kitchen, living area, fire place, comfortable rooms and bathrooms, as well as the porches and hot tub. Highly recommended.

Rachel at Lake Toxaway Company contacted us before we checked in during our stay and after we left. We have stayed in the area many times and this was a first . She was a real asset to our visit. Older cabin and more lighting in master would have been better. More comfortable seating in living area a recliner perhaps. Oven was outdated but worked . Screens for living area did not come up and down easily.Overall the outside areas, screen porch and the views were fabulous . We usually stay in Cashiers but Lake Toxaway but s now our new place to visit .

Waking up to birds chirping ,the sunrise break over the mountains and the clouds slowly disappear each morning was relaxing. We used the hot tub every night while we drank wine after a long days hike . The hot tub was rejuvenating. Would recommend anyone wanting to spend a few days with beautiful scenery , any outdoors person. This cabin is a perfect getaway with family and friends.

Secluded and beautiful
