Perfect house for 2 couples with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Close drive to everything and great area for walking and biking! Communication was great! Would definitely rent here for a stay in Hood River!!
The home was spotless and well located. We love to walk and the location gave us great access to the town and neighborhood. We were hardly home, but when there it was perfect for us.
My husband and i really enjoyed staying in this home. It was perfect for us. Close to restaurants and shopping. The bed was very comfy and everything needed was provided. The neighborhood is very quiet. We would love to stay again.
Close to downtown and a quiet neighborhood! Kay is a great communicator and the house was so clean (spotless) when we arrived). And she would get back to us quickly when we had a question.
We would definitely stay here again!

This home is in a neighborhood convenient to activities in and around Hood River. Although an older home, the kitchen and bathrooms have been remodeled. It was comfortable for our four-night stay.
After two years of planning our vacation in Oregon finally came true. Our first three days in Hood River did not disappoint. This house was the perfect location to explore downtown and easy access to return to after each day of adventure on the Fruit Loop. Very comfortable for relaxing in the evening and for a leisurely breakfast while planning our itinerary in the morning. All amenities were just as described with comfortable beds and beautiful surroundings. Homeowner was quick to answer any questions and easily accessible during the whole process.
The house was great, very clean and everything you could need. Not really walking distance to downtown but was still good location. Can walk to 2 local coffee/breakfast places. Patio was nice to sit outside for breakfast or late night. Would stay here again if I ever came back to Hood River.
Our family of four had a great time in this beautiful home! The place was spotless (I wish that I could hire their cleaners!). Kitchen and bathrooms looked recently renovated as everything was in tip top shape. The kitchen was well appointed. I appreciated the many extra small details like having an electric water kettle, plenty of dish clothes, reusable containers for leftovers, shelf space in the master bathroom., air conditioning on when we arrived during a heat wave. I highly recommend this place!
This house was really great, one of the best-appointed homes we have ever rented. The kitchen was well stocked with nice cookware and everything we could need. The house was very comfortable and perfect for a relaxing getaway for 4 adults. Love that area of Hood River too!! Thanks!!!
Perfect home for 2 couples or family of 4 for a Hood River stay. Great location, immaculate condition and Kay was extremely responsive to any questions we had. Would highly recommend!
Property was just as described in listing. The lactation was perfect and we enjoyed being able to walk to many local restaurants, coffee shops and even a park. If we ever make it back to the PNW we will definitely stay here again.
This property was perfect for our stay. Our son got married over the weekend and this place was minutes away from most of the activities. If we stay in this area again I would definitely would rent this place again.
We really enjoyed our stay in this home! Beautiful (fenced in) yard with an enviable patio that was thoroughly enjoyed for late night card games. No knick knacks which is a plus for parents with young children.
The house was very nice and in a quiet neighborhood, but close to downtown businesses for shopping and dining. It has a great patio for enjoying a beverage after a day of exploring the area. Lots of trails nearby for hiking. Great waterfalls on old Hwy 30 to hike to as well.
The home is well stocked with dishes, cooking utensils, pans and food basics. Comfortable furniture and beds, spotless bathrooms, modern appliances and a cute outdoor eating area. Owner was easy to contact and very welcoming. We highly recommend.
Kay’s house is the perfect spot to enjoy the area of Hood River. Her home is so comfortable and well kept with wonderful amenities. We appreciated Kay’s responsiveness as well as all the touches of home. This is a terrific home— super clean with everything you need and more. Can’t recommend enough!

About the host
Hosted by Kay Miller
We both grew up in Oregon, on the coast and in the Williamette Valley. We love the beauty of the Pacific Northwest and all of the wonderful recreational activities it provides.
Why they chose this property
Living in the Williamette Valley and the heart of Pinot Noir country, we found ourselves too far from Mt. Hood and winter sports. The city of Hood River is the perfect combination of small town atmosphere, fantastic food and beverage options, and amazing proximity to the rivers and mountain.
What makes this property unique
Our house was in need of some love and attention when we found it. It truly was a blank slate. With some hard work and determination we've placed our own unique impression on it, transforming it into a home. One of our favorite things about Hood River is that it is complelely accessible by foot.
