Very peaceful lodging!

Very roomy and felt like a home away from home. The only downfall was our stay was too short.

Great Place and location

We enjoyed our stay and the home was as advertised. Clean and spacious to handle 9 adults. It was located in a great community and the staff at Little Mountain Valley Resort were friendly and helpful.

Plenty of space for everyone

The downstairs bunk is not behind doors if that matters. Clean and we had a great time.

plenty of room

There was plenty of room for our group of 8 and would easily taken on 10. The hot tub was only for 4 though. The area and resort were really nice with a lot to do and it was only 15 min from town.

Beautiful!

Our family of 9, all adults, enjoyed our stay. We were a little put out that we had to call to ask for things daily. No soap in bathrooms. We ran out of firewood (there was very little when we arrived, got a delivery later that night, but no one ever came the 2nd time we asked for more the next day. The weather was excellent for sitting out by the firepit, so please consider that when stocking the pile. There was no hair dryer (who travels with a hair dryer anymore??) so we were asked to come to the office to pick one up. We ended up buying dishwasher detergent and trash bags, felt like we were constantly calling to get things we needed. The water had a strong sulpher smell, odd. But it was a beautiful cabin, very clean, and we especially appreciated the Christmas tree by the fireplace! We gave a 4-star review, not having to ask for things so often would've pushed it to a 5.

Perfect cabin to stay

We loved out cabin experience! The home was absolutely beautiful. Beautiful view, private location, Decorated very nicely. My ONLY con was that the driveway was steep. Our car bottomed out a few times at the top of the drive. We also had a large passenger van and backing it in took effort. Nonetheless, we’d stay again for sure! Resort also offered lots to do and it was never crowded...perfect for trying to social distance during COVID! Great experience!

June 2019 review

We had a great time! Resort and cabin were excellent! Office staff at Little Valley were very nice and helpful. Lots to do there. The cabin was beautiful and spacious. Great location. The only issue was water staying hot for showers. We would stay again!

Great space and great view

We really enjoyed our stay! It's a big place which is great for a big group. I believe there was only enough seating in the living and dining rooms for 6 and 8 people, respectively. That left us short but we just moved some of the chairs around or sat on the floor. Kitchen is nice though a little low on counter space when preparing food for a large group. There are bears in the area, one came up to our door! He (or she) looked adorable, but that opinion would surely change if we didn't have the cabin wall between us. I hope he was just being curious and not expecting to get food. Many people don't realize that feeding wild animals makes them more dangerous to humans! So don't try feeding the bears, and make sure you aren't leaving food or dogs outside. We only had a couple complaints. The beds vary in quality, but in general are not comfortable. Didn't keep any of us up at night, but it was an area of disappointment. Think low grade hotel beds. Also, there seems to be very little in the way of soundproofing. If you are in the bedroom on the main floor, you can hear activity pretty much anywhere in the cabin with surprising clarity. So if you go to bed early and some people are still up talking, you'll feel like you're sitting there with them. Yes, that includes being able to hear other bedrooms. Not the end of the world, but it's good to be aware of.

Enjoyed our stay to celebrate my husband’s 50th!

Cabin was very nice and as described. Each couple enjoyed having their own room/bathroom. Being so close to Christmas we enjoyed having the small tree by the fireplace which created a great atmosphere for our time there. Everyone we encountered at the resort was super nice and accommodating. We all loved having a beautiful snow fall just as we woke on our last day! Cabin is very close enough to all the attractions, restaurants and shopping. Plan to look at returning to enjoy some of the outdoor amenities during the spring/summer!
