A great stepping off place to visit the Big Horn Mountains, Lake DeSmet or explore the wild west history of Wyoming. There is a privacy fenced yard with a swing set and a safe place for kids to run around. The yard also features a large covered porch to sit out of the rain. And a patio with a BQ and tables for out door dinning. Off street parking has room for four cars, or a pick-up with toy trailer.

The cabin was very clean and cozy. The location was perfect, could see the mountains right off the deck and close to town. The cabin was well stocked and we appreciate having coffee there as well laundry detergent and dryer sheets!!
The cabin is everything and more. You're a 3 minute drive from the heart of Buffalo, grocery stores, and entertainment. At the same time you can sit on the wrap around porch with you coffee and gaze at the mountains.
The home was well equipped and comfortable. Minutes from the city center. Close to a great hiking trail along Clear Creek. Easy to get to the interstate and the historical sites we were interested in seeing.
The house was very clean and the check in process was easy. It had everything we needed for our family. We especially enjoyed the wrap around porch in the evening.
very good . my family have stayed there a number of times

Good for Small Families
This is a nice little place that’s suits a small family well. The owner was a little slow in communicating with us but the house was clean and had everything we needed.
This cabin was perfect. Very quiet and private. The kitchen was a great size and the bed was very comfortable. The deck was huge and fun to sit on. Everything was really clean. We had a great time and will definitely book it again!
We loved our stay! This property was clean, cozy and well stocked. Private and quiet. Convenient location. Close to the mountain and town. Beautiful wrap around deck. Perfect place to stay. The owner was awesome to work with. She was very prompt in getting back to us and very informative. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful place to stay
Great house to stay. We spent 4 nights there while on vacation. We were at the foot of the Big Horn Mountains and close to other attractions. Clean and fit our family of 5. We cooked several meals in the well stocked kitchen and did laundry a few times. We hiked a few trails close and took a crazy drive to Tensleep. Would go back again.
Due to the Elk fire this year my husband and I needed to relocate our hunting trip. In past we have stayed at a cabin in a campground but this year I was bringing work with me so needed something a bit larger. This home was perfect! My husband and I are sensitive to strong perfumy smells and there was none of that here. The home was clean, bed comfortable and everything worked with no issues. All owners' notes and instructions were clear and easy to follow. Thank you also for the additions like having dish soap/tabs, laundry detergent/dryer sheets, coffee/filters, and condiments. The only negative, and small negative, for us was the sulfur smell in the water, definitely not a deal breaker and we did get used to it right away. Pat, the property host, was wonderful to work with and very helpful. Would highly recommend this home and would stay here again if visiting Buffalo.
Owner was friendly and responsive. House was very clean and beds were comfortable. No strong scented air fresheners, just a nice clean smell. Internet and window A/C worked well. Kitchen was stocked well. Water has a sulfur smell due to private well, but was not a big deal. We brought a Brita filter for drinking water and that worked great. Garage was not available for guest use. Neighborhood had barking dogs, but was quiet otherwise. If I could make one minor improvement, it would be to get rid of the fluorescent light bulbs in the light fixtures. This was a great home base for our Bighorn Mountains adventure. Would stay here again. Thank you!

Awesome small house near the Big Horns
This cute log house is located in a residential area close to Buffalo and the Big Horns. It is very clean, comfortable, quiet, and attractive. The yard is large with a grill, patio. play equipment and a great deck. We went there for a week and golfed almost everyday at Buffalo's golf course. It is awesome; wonderful views of the mountains, well maintained greens, friendly staff and extremely reasonably priced. Hiking trails are everywhere. Buffalo is truly a real "Western" town. Went to the pig wrestling event in town...It was great fun!
The owner of the house is wonderful to deal with; she is very helpful and pleasant.
Plan to go back next summer for a week!
