About 45 minutes to Masters, no real grocery or restaurants near by. Host was very good, active horse farm, secluded. About 10 minutes from major highway.
Great space with everything you could need. Surprised how fast the internet was for the location. Beds were comfortable and has a large bathroom. The family was very welcoming and it feels like a completely separate space. Highly recommend
My family from Sweden came for a visit and we needed a place near by. This was only two miles from my home. They thought the place was lovely and the landowners were very charming!
It was a great stay. Our host was helpful and accommodating, even giving us great and accurate tips for local restaurants.
He let us stay a bit longer than typical checkout because they people we were meeting were delayed by a few hours.
It was a unique location where there were groups and teams with their horses practicing in a pasture adjacent to the property.
The space was larger than we anticipated and it was a great place to hangout and rest after a couple of days at the Masters golf tournament
Lovely peaceful property with spacious top floor apartment. Comfy beds and lots of room to relax. Kitchen was very well stocked and we had everything we needed. The forest and pasture surroundings are just lovely! We boarded our horse and the stall and paddock were perfect, along with LOTS of places to hack and train while we were staying. This place is IDEAL for showing at barns outside Aiken, like Stableview and Sporting Days, or Full Gallop! If you are looking for a wonderful gem to stay for long term training or showing in the winter and early spring, this is perfectly located!! The owners are such nice people and went out of their way to make sure we were well cared for. Can't wait to go back and stay with them next time!
My father passed away a few weeks before Thanksgiving. After spending an extended time away from home handling his affairs, I needed a break to reconnect with my wife and boys. The Benjamin's home offered just that. Spacious, comfortable, well-stocked, quiet. We truly got to unplug for a long weekend and just enjoy each other's company and long walks in the woods with our dogs. Leo offered suggestions of things to do in the area as well and we got to enjoy some equestrian events we might not have found out about on our own. We all left their home refreshed. Thank you!
With a mandatory evacuation given to us, we were trying to find a place not too far away and yet far enough away to keep us safe. This property was private and affordable. Once booked, Leo contacted me to ensure we knew how to get there and he maintained that communication through our travel time. Leo and Nancy were very generous to us and made us feel very welcomed. Our first night, Nancy invited us to dine with them for dinner. Unfortunately I had an unexpected health issue and couldn't make it. We were encouraged to explore the property and venture down to the stables. The property is beautiful. Leo and Nancy are the perfect hosts and we are thankful for them.
