About this property

A very well kept log cabin with many ammenities to suit all of your free time needs. Sits on top of a hill over looking your personal swimming hole and a private beach. Also take some time mix some drinks and dance the night away in you personal bar in basement that comes with some starting beverages for your stay.

The cabin has also been fitted with handicap capabilities from elevator to full roll in shower (just be careful they might want to stay in there till the hot water is all gone) Plenty of room from 4 queen beds one double and 4 twins in the loft. With a full kitchen deep fryers to the slap chopper its all there to mix the amazing dinner dishes.

For that grilling crowd we have everything from an open fire grill to charcoal to gas. And for the lazy crowd 4 reclining couches TV's throughout 250 movies and sun chairs on the beach.

Great Cozy Cabin

Great place to spend the new year. Great living area up stairs and down stairs. The bar area down stairs was perfect for hanging out with company.

Weekend vacation

Our group had a great time at Nate’s cabin! It fit our group fairly well! We were a bit disappointed there weren’t as many beds as we expected but we had prepared and brought air mattresses to better accommodate people. There were only 3 twins in the loft and the couches were not pullout couches as expected. When we arrived, it seemed a bit more dated than we anticipated from the pictures. The sand volleyball court was filled with weeds and burrs. My fiancé spent several hours raking it and clearing it out in addition to fixing the net. It was well worth it though because we spent hours out there. The pond and slide were a blast. Overall it was a great stay and weekend getaway! We enjoyed the fire pit, playing outdoor games, grilling out, and enjoying the outdoor spaces!

Desperately needed vacation with my grown kids & grands!! 💗

Amazing time with kids & grandkids! Enjoyed the pond, inflatables, fire pit with s’mores, and many of the Dell’s activities. Was apprehensive of the 5 yr old climbing the ladder to the upstairs beds, but she figured it out. Only issue was the downstairs sliding door was very hard to open/close. Had great time. Thanks!

Family Summer Vacation

A wonderful setup for a family vacation! The house was very cute and comfy and well stocked. Everyone loved the pond and the water slide. A very nice sandy beach area as well. Would definitely recommend!

Could use some work

The gas grill is garbage and the sliding door that goes outside to the fire pit needs attention and is a pain to open and close. The volley ball court needs to be cleaned up and the pond has leeches.

A wonderful property with lots of space!

A lovely place inside and out, there's plenty of room for friends and family to get together and have a great indoors and outdoors alike! The onwer is also very communicative. Nothing negative here!

inaccurate listing

The cabin is beautiful however the listing is inaccurate. The elevator does not work and there are no reclining sofas. With 1 guest in a wheelchair and another with mobility issues, finding this out after we arrived was very disappointing. The owner stated he would change the listing to avoid others from being disappointed but it seems like that has not been done. The owner did refund a small portion of the amount we paid, but still has not changed the listing so I feel I need to let others know. Again, the view and property as well as cabin are beautiful, but not for those with mobility issues.

If You Don't Have Fun At This Cabin, You're Not Trying!

What a fun cabin for our family vacation with kids and grandkids ... nine of us in all. When we first arrived the grandkids grabbed their swimsuits and headed right for the slide on the pond. They made several trips down the slide before returning to the cabin to finish unpacking. NOTE: It is about 15-feet deep in the middle of the pond. Make sure non-swimmers are wearing life jackets. Plenty of room in the cabin to read, watch TV, play games ... including video machines, pool table and a sliding puck type table in the basement. Loved the party lights in the basement. I think every room had a TV except for the bathrooms. The TIKI hut was also a special place to watch the kids play in the water. Beautiful Fire Pit area overlooking the pond. You will have to purchase your own firewood. Watch for deer in the field at dusk. Also, the ice makers in the fridges weren't working while we were there, so you might want to grab an extra bag of ice before you arrive. Didn't have time for volleyball or croquet, we'll save that for next time. Elevator wasn't working, so you have to climb a ladder to get to the loft sleeping area. Fun for grandkids, not so much for grandma and grandpa. Nice walking path through the woods to the deer stand across the field from the cabin. Wave at the field camera when you get there. We stayed here for a combined bachelor/bachelorette party and it was amazing! The property was secluded and private so we could be loud without worrying about disturbing any neighbors. We spent a lot of time at the outdoor tiki bar and pond. The property manager also very kindly allowed us to check in an hour early. I will definitely be renting this property in the future with family and friends!

Church youth group

This was an amazing stay. There was something for everyone. The firepit, pool & air hockey tables were well used. The trails, volleyball court and beach area added an extra amount of fun. But the pond area with the gigantic inflatable slide was by far the most popular attraction. It entertained the teens for hours. It was great to get them outdoors enjoying nature. This was a fabulous find as we had everything we needed for a group of 10 teens and 3 adult chaperones.

Cabin Rental

Our stay was awesome. This VRBO was just want our family needed and it was perfect. The cleaning lady was there when we arrived and she was alot of help and showed us around the place, which was quite helpful. I wish the communication was done a little quicker but that could be normal as I have never rented a VRBO before. This place had everything we needed for our stay! Loved our stay here and would recommend it again.

Nice place in a great property!

My family (parents, sisters, sister's spouses and teenaged children) had a delightful stay in this cabin with great access to both natural attractions and the more touristy locations within the Dells. The cabin was clean, comfortable and well appointed. As a side note: the ice cream was exceptional at the gas station just down the road.

Why they chose this property

It started out as getting a place half way between Racine Wi and Minniapolis Mn so the family could get together with the oldest of 5. It has been a great touch for the family and when we all can meet up its always an adventure. The first years of owning it started out as a mobile home. Now with some sweat and hard work i had built a retreat. Im always working on new ideas and things to bring to the cabin. The father says i will never stop. I just let him know i will stop when it is perfect.

What makes this property unique

Being in the middle of 71 ac is a good start. The fact of no neighbors a private pond, vollyball court, horse shoes, and some hiking trails all add to what you can fill your time with. Also we have a benifit to give u dicounted NOAH'S ARK tickets
