We loved the location of this quaint little cottage in GOTL. Loved the beach house theme decor and especially the sliding doors. Well maintained and spotless
This property was absolutely perfect for our getaway. It was clean and inviting with a great "vibe." It was walking distance to great food, entertainment and of course the lake. We hope to be able to return!
Cozy little cottage. Perfect for two people. Ideally located. Close to all attractions, but removed enough that it was quiet and enjoyable. Property is very well-maintained. Met the property owner who was very friendly and accommodating.
This was a last minute Labor Day getaway for us, and it was THEE only available place we could find. We were very worried concerned as to why it was still available, thinking there must be something wrong with the place. But once we arrived and seen it, it was the most perfect, charming and clean cabin. The owners happened to be staying in one of the other cabins in the property, and you couldn’t have asked for nicer, and more helpful folks To deal with. We will definitely try to book this cabin again on our next GOTL stay.
The cutest little cottage. Tucked away was a hidden gem. Just around the corner from all the hustle and bustle of GOTL. Walking distance to the strip, yet far enough away that you do not hear the noise. Owners were the nicest couple and beyond accommodating. The interior decor made you feel like you were down south. Not to mention the Adirondak chairs beside the firepit to complete the evening.
I rented Kenzie's cottage for my in-laws during a group family trip. My husband and I have stayed at Ethan's cottage a couple of times before and this one was just as great. The cottage was perfect and had everything you would need. Very clean and super nice! They really enjoyed the outdoor patio area at night. The owners are very friendly and awesome! Highly recommend renting from them!
Small cottage did the trick for an overnight stay close to the Lake. Place was tidy and comfortable. Although quite common to see, there was no mention of the outdoor security cameras throughout the property which should have been disclosed in the listing. Overall we had a great time and the property manager was quick and easy to communicate with. Would recommend.
We had a terrific stay and enjoyed having our daughter’s family nextdoor in Ethan’s Lake House. Kenzie’s Sandcastle is decorated very invitingly...our grandchildren loved sitting in the reading nook to play games and puzzles. By far, the common area with tables, fire pits and Adirondack chairs was the best! Followed by “location, location, location!” Thank you for everything!
Simply the most relaxing and renewing getaway of my life.
Kenzie's Sandcastle was perfectly located both to the trail with spectacular lake views, and "The Strip" which provided a great variety of little shops and dining establishments. From the moment I opened the door to the cottage, I felt cozy and comfortable. David and Joanne were extremely helpful and kind in providing both an extremely clean and amazingly decorated retreat to stay, and lots of tips to help me make the most of my time spent in Geneva on the Lake. I have already booked my getaway for next summer!

Cozy clean cottage
The cottage was very clean inside and exactly as described on the site; coffee maker, toaster, small fridge, plates, cups, and cutlery. The host even left a couple bottles of water into the fridge. Parking was close and ample. There was a well maintained outdoor seating area with plenty of chairs, a fire pit, a grill, and a porch swing.
The owner answered my inquiry quickly via email and was prompt in sending me the door code and WiFi password.
This was an all around positive experience.
I fell ill and was unable to make it for the weekend but I went ahead and did 5 stars on everything. I had to change weekends because my fiancé was sick when we had our visit scheduled and they were very accommodating and easy to work with but then I got sick and we didn’t end up making it. This place is very cute and I will be rescheduling down the road.
The property was cute. It served its purpose for a fun evening getaway but it was nothing fancy. The owners are great to communicate with and helpful. We have stayed in many rentals and this one is very basic. The heating is not the best for winter but i bet the AC is amazing in the summer. The linens were nothing special, id recommend bringing your own, especially a warm blanket or comforter and they didn't smell too fresh. Same with the towels, 2 were still dirty before use. Although i had no concerns of bugs in this place, it would be more comfortable if the bed had any kind of protector on the mattress for bugs, spills, anything. This is a great place i am sure in the summer for a bed and 4 walls but not really comfortable for sitting in the living room as there is only a love seat or for cooking in the kitchen much. It has all the basics you need and again very wonderful owners just needs a little more TLC and helpful notes like all the other places we have stayed would have been nice. Im glad i looked at check out directions on my app because there were not any directions in the room or local area recommendations or anything personal etc. Good place to stay though. Also very close to the water for a short walk.
