This unit is cozy and comfortable with a compact layout and is conveniently located in a quiet part of town within a short drive to a variety of entertainment, dining and shopping. Classic PCB attractions like Pier Park, mini golf, and amusement parks as well as gorgeous 30a and Rosemary Beach are within driving distance, while beautiful white sand beaches are a 3 minute walk away.
The location of the unit provides serenity and relaxation, with a 3 minute walk to the beach all while surrounded with the convenience and entertainment of a resort destination within driving distance.
The “Villas of Bahamas West” condominium is located on the west end of Panama City Beach and sits about 300 feet away from a very quiet beach, with sugary white sand and turquoise waters that feel like they are almost just your own. We would like to emphasize for our customers with limited mobility that the unit is located on the 2nd floor of the building, above a "drive-under" parking port and within 300 steps from the entrance to the beach. Please see pictures for a better understanding of the surrounding area of the building.
The accommodation is very comfortable for two adults, or a family with up to two children who are able to share one bed. You’ll have a small, yet private, bedroom with a Queen bed, and a decent sized living room with a pull out Queen size sofa-bed.
Both rooms have individual Smart Roku TV sets with Free Peacock TV, YouTube, and other free options, so everyone in the family can enjoy their preferred show. In addition, other apps such as Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, etc. are available. Feel free to connect using your own credentials and enjoy! Please make sure you log off before your departure!
The small kitchen is stocked with cooking utensils and opens up to the living room, making family gathering after all activities of the day very homey and accommodating. The private and very spacious balcony has a dining set as well , so you can enjoy family meals inside or outside, at your preference.
The unit includes a washer/ dryer which will allow you to throw in a load and come back home with a clean set of laundry and one less item on the to-do list!
The condominium is surrounded by low density residential neighborhoods, which makes the area quiet and safe. You’ll appreciate the convenience of having grocery essentials like “Publix” and “Winn-Dixie” within a mile and a fully equipped kitchen to craft a meal for a night-in. . When you crave an outing, you’ll have several local favorites in the driving vicinity. Depending on your destination, you can be a 5-20 min drive to entertainment, a vast variety of casual and fine dining, shopping. To name just a few, you have Panama City Beach downtown and Pier, the water park, Gulf World Marine park, Ripley’s "Believe it or Not", game arcades, amusement parks, and “Pier Park” Mall to the East, and the iconic 30a scenic highway and Rosemary Beach to the West. For a bit of a longer trip, destinations like Destin are just 40 min away. To take advantage of the surrounding nature, you can visit one of plenty nature watching and biking trails nearby, or drive 16 miles to Panama City downtown and port where you can find all kinds of sea tours and boat charters.
The owners are very hands-on and available practically at any time. They will make sure that you arrive safely and are completely satisfied with the conditions of the unit and everything in it. All instructions and directions will be emailed to you a few days prior to your arrival and followed up by text messages. If you have any questions or concerns you may contact the owners at any time via two phone numbers with calls, texts, or emails.
Other details to know:
Non-smoking: We have a strict NON-SMOKING policy. We do not allow smoking of any kind of cigarettes, tobacco products or any other legal or illegal substances not in units, neither balcony or walkway! An inspection is conducted after each visit. We WILL continue to exercise our right to enforce, report and prosecute violations in accordance with our policy and to the full extent of the law.
Pets: As an advance notice to our guests, we have to inform them that due to the owner's medical conditions, we have to respectfully ask for strong adherence to the non-smoking policy as well as decline the admission of pets in the unit.
We greatly appreciate your compassion and cooperation.
Liability: The visitors acknowledge that they are not protected against Bodily Injury or Property Damage by homeowner’s insurance, and are encouraged to obtain their own insurance coverage if desired.
The owners are not liable for any lost, stolen or damaged personal property of visitors. Please, keep the doors closed at all times, and keep your eyes on your belongings while on the property and on the beach.

Arrival/Departure : Check-in is at 4PM Central time, check-out is 12PM Central time. No early check-in or late check-out will be accommodated unless previously arranged with owners.
Please Note: We have been recently informed by our guests that during busy holiday time and corresponding increase of foot traffic in the building, the noise from people staying on the third floor above our units could be heard within the apartment during their stay. . Although we don't believe it exceeds the usual level associated with multiple story buildings doesn't happen often, we still want to inform you about this possibility of inconvenience and encourage you to plan your trip accordingly.
Please Note: The HOA does not allow use of grills on balconies. This is prompted by the Insurance Policy that HOA carries for the whole building and is not tolerable .Please use the grills on sandy grounds right in front of the parking area, behind the building.
Cancellation: We have a moderate cancellation policy -Guests will receive a full refund if they cancel up to 5 days before check-in. With all respect to our guests, rescheduling requests will not be accepted up to 5 days before check-in. Multiple reschedule requests will not be accepted either.
Occupancy: We will strictly adhere to our policy of occupancy limitations. Only one family of 2 adults and up to 2 kids will be allowed per unit with no exceptions. Please take this into consideration when you make your reservation.
