Hayleys Stormtrooper Cabin is just what we needed to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Kelly was amazing and quick to answer any questions we had and was ready with some wonderful local recommendations for eats and activities. Even when the temperature dipped for the evenings, the cabin stayed cozy and warm, and no words can describe how relaxing the hot tub was under clear starry skies. We had everything we needed and expected and we cannot wait to come back. Highly recommend for anyone who wants the basics of an off grid like experience, close to Revy and countless trails, just a taste of that mountain living.
Truly one of the most magical places I have ever stayed at.. beauty, simplicity, peace, and silence… Kelly is an amazing host! The space is so well thought out and had such a wonderful vibe. The hot tub every day after skiing was amazing and the stars were breathtaking. Cannot wait to come back here again. Exceptional in every way! Thank you, Kelly!
The stormtrooper was the perfect stay to disconnect in nature. While it was a very small place it was well thought out and put together with care. The only thing to note was that there isn't a microwave and there isn't really any place to put your belongings or bag but that didn't bother us. Overall I would definitely recommend this place to stay if anyone is looking for a peaceful getaway. The hot tub was lovely and a great way to end the evening and start the morning with some coffee while watching the sun come over the mountain.
This property is hidden away in the trees on a beautiful road next to the lake. It is quiet, comfortable, and perfect for a nice getaway. Revelstoke is a great place to be!
This was perfect for our needs. It’s small but had everything we needed. We loved how peaceful it was, and happened to have a black bear stroll through the yard as we sat on the deck!
This was the perfect property to escape our hectic lives. We appreciated the hot tub, amenities, the opportunity to wake up to deer grazing each morning, and the owners responsiveness when we did have a question. Would highly recommend
If you're looking for a cozy little private escape, then this is it! Fairly close to town, has pretty much everything you need and is a bit eye-opening for living a more minimalistic lifestyle. Will definitely come back!

Perfectly Set Up - Tiny Home Style
We've rented from Kelly several times now - both the little cabin and the full house. The cabin is awesome - set up with all the little things rentals often lack. Lots of room for parking, great patio, and a semi-wilderness setting. We can't wait to return.

Wonderful spot that feels much farther away from the action than it is!
We enjoyed a wonderful stay at the stormtrooper cabin! Overall, it’s very thoughtfully appointed. Incredibly comfortable bed, linens and pillows and nice couch and blankets for relaxing at night. Huge TV with satellite, but no WiFi- Great excuse to unplug! Nice bag of local coffee left for us to enjoy in the mornings as we watched deer out the windows. Quick scenic drive along the river to the mountain for skiing, it was a fantastic spot to be. Additionally, the property manager, Melissa, was very helpful during our travels to Revelstoke. The trans Canadian highway had been closed due to avalanche work before we could get through and we were stuck in Golden. When I emailed Melissa, she responded quickly with a link that provided updates on the road closure. So helpful!
Missed having a dishwasher more than we thought we would - we are spoiled. Also wished the water flow in the shower had been better - don’t know if this fluctuates. We have basically an artesian well at home, so again, I think we are spoiled. Last thing we noticed was that the hot tub didn’t stay warm for long when we were in it- could be a combo of it being a soft tub and us being there during a cold snap (daytime highs around -13C). Overall, we had a fantastic stay and hope to make it back to Revelstoke someday!

Perfection
We had the pleasure of staying at the Stormtrooper over New Years, and everything about it was perfect. It was exactly what this couple from the bustling city (Chicago) needed - secluded, thoughtful, quiet, cozy, and all in such a beautiful backdrop. We were concerned all of our ski/board gear would have made the tiny loft space feel cramped, but were pleased to find there were storage solution spaces for everything - never even noticed it was all sharing the space with us. The kitchenette is small but everything you need. We were able to make a few full meals no problem (plus a couple nights of takeout - recommend Nico's for pizza, and Kevin's Kitchen for noodles!). And we couldn't have asked for an easier drive to the mountain, where we were graced with a few days of INCREDIBLE powder. Oh and the hot tub! We soaked away aching muscles after long days on the slopes while it snowed, and had one clear night to enjoy the layers on layers of stars. We would recommend Kelly's perfect little cabin to anyone staying in the area - and cannot wait to return.

Simple, secluded, cute...
This modern, simple cabin is great for a short stay. We had a few comments related to suggested improvements that we shared with Kelly (the owner), he was receptive and reasonable in regards to our thoughts. Cabin is rather far from town, but anyone aware of this and still choosing it will surely see it as a bonus (seclusion, wildlife, relatively close to the ski resort).

Perfect place for 2
We love Revelstoke and this was the perfect place for our holiday. It was close enough to town but far enough for peace and quiet. The deck is awesome! My husband commented on the great barbeque here. The bed was very comfortable as was the rest of the unit.
