The house was really cute inside. Great decor. The elevator came in handy for my mom. The owners were very responsive to questions. The weather was great.
Very quite and peaceful location. The property was as described. The driveway is a little small, if you have more than 2 vehicles you will be parking on the road. There isn’t much traffic so this would be bearable.
Excellent property. Everything was as expected. House was great. Awesome location, we always had a large piece of beach to ourselves. We have stayed in several houses in the area over the years and this was our favorite. Would definitely book again.
The rental process was easy and efficient. The owners of the property were great with communication. The property was wonderful with a beautiful view of the ocean.
The stay was wonderful. The beach was so beautiful and we truly enjoyed every moment. The property manager was extremely prompt and very helpful. I wish we didn’t have to leave. The beds and bedrooms were very clean and comfy. The entire house was just so comfortable and a perfect beach house. The wild life was fun to watch. Plenty to do without leaving the house. Thank you for the great stay!!

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication
Disliked: Listing accuracy
Things the listing should tell you...
Tap water - Reeks of sulfur (rotten eggs). Spent most of the week queasy from the water smell. Left a day early because of the smell. This was my show stopper item.
Location - Excellent for seclusion and view. Too close to marsh resulting in lots of biting flies and brown ocean (gulf) water. Sand bar also limited the waves which mattered to our kids.
Elevator - The downstairs outside lock to the elevator has been broken since May (dates note from homeowner). After lugging 300lbs of stuff up the narrow steep stairs, figured out the elevator mystery. There is another elevator entrance in the garage behind the door that doesn’t open with the key. Fix....clear instructions in the app or fix the cylinder in the lock.
Everything about this experience was perfect for our family group of ten. We had all the room and every amenity we needed. The calm water of the inlet was perfect for our young children. They could play and kayak without fear of being washed out to sea. The house was comfortable and nicely laid out and decorated for efficiency. We would love to stay there again. Thanks for the experience.

Very Private and Peaceful
We had a wonderful relaxing time. The house sits on the beach and is very private and secluded from neighbors. Its like the whole beach is your private beach!! The weather was great and no rain. The inside of house was decorated very beachy and it reminded me of beach houses I visited as a kid. We enjoyed the couple days we were there and wished we could have spent the whole week there. We definitely will rent again. We didn't ride the bikes or go out on the kayaks but they were there if we wanted too. Loved it!!

Beautiful Beach!!!
Truly steps away from what seems like your own private beach!!! We had 2 adults 2 teens and 4 kids and there was room for everyone. The house is quaint and decorated well. Everything you need to make meals. It was truly a prefect vacation.

The house needs some work.
I would describe this house as "rustic" and in need of some repairs.

Hidden Jewel
We stayed for a week at this property from 7/8/17 to 7/15/17. The home is quaint and very thoughtfully decorated! The beach is very private and lovely! We had 7 people in our party (4 adults, 3 kids). The size of the home served our needs perfectly. The homeowner was very responsive when the internet went down - they had been having trouble anyway which was the providers fault. The owner was very apologetic which we appreciated. A bonus for me personally with this home were the hardwood floors (I hate tile floors - they're cold and you can't get the sand fully swept up). The floors always felt clean and sand-free which was nice. Also, you can't stay at this spot without a visit to the Indian Pass Raw Bar (barely 3 miles from this property)! There will definitely be a wait but the food is amazing! We would absolutely stay here again! It truly felt like a home away from home!

Nice Spot For Us To Take The Grandchildren
We loved the private beach access. View was great. Spacious beach side deck. Kids could boogy board in the surf if we trekked a little west on the beach or net crabs by walking a little east on the beach. Camp store was easy walking distance. We built camp fires on the beach nightly. We had plenty of room for four adults and three kids.
The house needs some maintenance: rotten picnic table leg, half the elevator doors would not open, one garage door didn't work, kitchen sink drained very slowly, no propane for the outdoor grill. I thought the owner was a bit slow to refund the damage deposit.
