Come enjoy the sun and the sea in this OCEAN FRONT beach home in Terramar Beach on Galveston Island!

If you want to check in the same day you book your reservation, Vrbo requires us to approve this beforehand so please notify us and we will be happy to do so!

We are located only minutes from the Pleasure Pier, Moody Gardens, Schlitterbahn Water Park, Galveston State Park, the movie theater, the miniature golf course, the Airplane Museum and even NASA and the Kemah Boardwalk are close enough if you’d like to spend a day there! Galveston shows a calendar of events.

We are on the west side of the island and only minutes from the Strand and Stewart Beach.

This home comfortably sleeps 18. We have a wheelchair ramp to enter the home if you don't like all those stairs! Sleeping arrangements include a master bedroom with a king sized bed and a full sized bed (sleeps 4). The master has a private bathroom with a "roll-in" shower. Bedroom two comes with a queen sized bed and a full sized bed (sleeps 4). Bedroom three has 2 pyramid bunk beds (full sized bed on bottom and twin sized bed on top), (sleeps 6). The living room is furnished with a queen sized sleeper sofa plus a full size futon. The guest bath has a full tub/shower combination.

The kitchen is fully equipped with pots and pans, dishes and utensils. It has a glass top stove with a double oven, dishwasher, microwave and all the comforts of home! Central A/C and ceiling fans throughout. The living room has a large, flat screen TV and a DVD player. There is also a TV and DVD player in each bedroom.

Our home has a nice sized deck that overlooks the ocean. There is also a wood deck underneath the house and a picnic table.

Terramar Beach has a neighborhood pool that our guests are welcome to enjoy!

Linens provided but please bring your own beach towels.

Wifi and cable service can be unreliable in Galveston. We are sorry that we will be unable to guarantee that these amenities will be working during your stay and are unable to offer refunds for disruption of these services.

Rates posted may be for a limited number of guests. Additional fees may apply for larger groups, especially during the off-season.

Prom groups are welcome with a prom fee of $500 and a refundable damage deposit of $1000.

Rate minimums:
Any rates <$151 per night are only good for up to 3 guests, $151-$199 per night is only good for up to 5 guests, $200-$250 per night is only good for up to 7 guests, $251-$299 per night is only good for up to 9 guests. You are welcome to bring more guests and will be invoiced for the additional guest fees after your online booking has been processed.

The 'Enchanted Sea Star' reserves the right to refuse service to anyone. Rates are subject to change without notice.

Girls Trip

We had a wonderful time! The house is truly directly on the water. Which helped a lot with the senior citizens that were with us along with the ramp leading to the beach. If you enjoy brightly colored rooms with beach decor, this is the house with you. No room, disappointed there was so much to look at and taken. The furnishings in the house had everything that we needed.

Spring break 2025

We had a great time. Best view of the ocean. Beach was so close too. The house was perfect and cozy. felt like home. We cant wait to go back. House was stocked with everything we needed including more towels than walmart. If i could give more than 5 stars i would.

So fun!

The house is decorated so cutely! The location can’t be beat. Although some reviews say that there is nothing supplied by the house, we were so pleasantly surprised that there was some toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, beach toys, and other beach equipment. It’s probably been left by other people who have stayed, but it was greatly appreciated! Thank you for a memory making weekend :)

Needs a little love

First, let me start with the good. This is a great location! It’s right on the beach. The house is spacious and comfortably sleeps a large number of people. There is plenty of seating inside and out. The fire pit downstairs is a great perk. Now for the not so good. At first glance, the place seemed clean enough, but it became apparent that it was not really that clean. The bed linens were clean, but the extra blankets smelled terrible. There were roaches in the kitchen. Lots of roaches. I contacted the host and they did respond right away and had the exterminator out the next day. Overall the trip was nice, but we were hosting a birthday party and the bugs and lack of cleanliness made it more stressful than it should have been.

A visit to the beach during a snow storm

While most everything met our expectations, the timing during a winter storm may have complicated things beyond the normal. Due to snow and ice on the ramps and stairs we were confined indoors for almost all the time we were there. A request to clear them so we could safely exit was not attended to, though it was an unusual request I am sure. Also we were without hot water in the kitchen, which otherwise was well accommodated. Heating water on the stove allowed us to take care of cleaning up. Otherwise, I would stay here again if assured there would not be a once in a lifetime weather event.

Fantastic view! Could not have been a better sight to wake up to each morning. The house offers oceanfront views with lots of natural light and windows facing the water. The ramp at the side of the house worked well for our senior dog with arthritic joints. She enjoyed laying on the beach with us! The layout of the house is nice with plenty of beds. The owner was easy to communicate with. The house looks better in person than in pictures, brightly decorated with cheery beachy touches. Pleasantly suprised to find 2 refrigerators/ freezers! We would definitely stay here again and would bring friends next time since we had so much room for our family of 4!

Charming Cottage

Darling beachfront cottage. Great location, easy access, eclectic finishes and nice amenities. It felt like it’s been lived in a lot-many spots need TLC repairs and a good, deep cleaning. A really special place, though.

Very nice, very roomy

My family and I stayed for a long weekend for my aunts 85th birthday. Due to her age and a couple others the ramp was a necessity so we really appreciated having that and a roll in shower. The beds were a bit high with the mattress toppers but we took them off and all was good. All in all a very nice stay and the owners were so super helpful and responsive! Only negative is no golf carts on the beach in this area.

End of Season Getaway

Family gathering on the beach

We had everything we needed for a beautiful reunion. We are small but scattered family. We could meet to cook, hang out at the beach, and enjoy a beautiful place. It was wonderful and the handicap made it awesome for our 91-year-old. Have stayed before and we will again. It was perfect.

FANTASTIC STAY !!! FANTASTIC HOUSE !!

We come to Galveston 2-3 times a year. this was hands down the best rental we have had the pleasure of staying at, and I am kinda picky. We left a condo at the San Luis a day early because it was just not up to par The views can not be beat ! The pictures of the house and the view do not do it justice. The owners are very responsive to any question you might have and are prompt to reply. We can't wait to book it again ! Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us.

Galveston Beach Vacation

Nice place on the beach

Can’t beat the location. Right on the beach. I’m sure it is because of all the rain but I highly recommend mosquito repellent. We got attacked multiple times. Can’t really blame that on the property. There were some things missing like a dvd player in the master bedroom and some missing batteries in remotes but we were there for the beach anyways so didn’t matter too much. Would stay again.

If its just location- this place can't be beat! However, if your picky this might not suit. Its a basic , no-frills beach house. And you need to bring EVERYTHING, like toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags laundry soap, dush soap

traditional beach vacay

Fantastic view and location! Typical beach house with lots of beds and a nice big table. Furniture is older. Kitchen is nice but be sure to bring trash bags and tin foil, etc. We had a comfortable stay even with a storm. The view and windows made it nice through it all. :-)
