This house is in a picturesque location in Västergötland, in Örsås, 14km from Svenljunga. It is quietly situated on a cul-de-sac. On one side the forest starts right by the house, on the other side there is a big field. With a bit of luck you will spot an elk right by the house.Idyllically situated, ground-level holiday house with a terrace and a conservatory, and a fabulous and extensive view of the surroundings
The idyllically situated holiday house is a very well-maintained, ground-level bungalow that provides ample space for up to six people. It has about 100m² of living space and is on a big natural site of 1644m². The holiday house has a big living room with a fireplace stove (which can heat the whole house), a big dining room with an open kitchen, two bedrooms with big double beds (180 x 200cm), a children’s room with a bunk bed (90 x 190cm, owing to the height the lower bed is more suitable for children). The living room has TV with Swedish and international channels (HD) for entertainment, as well as a Blu-ray player (suitable also for DVDs and audio CDs), and a home cinema system. The kitchen is fully-equipped with an electric stove with a ceramic hob and a convection oven, an extractor fan, microwave, fridge and freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine, Senseo coffee pads machine, toaster, kettle, waffle maker and as a gem an old stove with an enamel surface. The dining space has a table with six chairs and a Tripp Trapp children’s highchair. There is also a cosy conservatory. The bathroom has a shower and WC.
The conservatory has an adjoining wooden terrace to the south-west, sheltered from the wind, with seating and a Weber grill, affording a grandiose view. The site also has a lawn and a sandpit. There are two parking spaces by the street.
The water is pumped directly from a well about 50 metres deep and has drinking water quality. The special equipment includes a sauna (infrared heat cabin). The energy costs are billed according to consumption. Washing machine, dryer and Internet (fiber optic) also ensure a comfortable stay. The house is heated with an air heat pump, a fireplace stove and electric radiators. Owing to the good insulation, the house is also pleasant in winter. There are steps to the entrance and to the conservatory, so the house is not barrier-free. Pets are not allowed and smoking is also prohibited throughout the house.
There are only a few neighbours around. It is absolutely quiet and ideal for relaxing. In the autumn there is an abundance of mushrooms and berries, some on site. Fishing enthusiasts can find many fishing spots in the vicinity. There are also many lovely lakes for swimming or boating. Various walking trails start from the house and lead into the beautiful, wide nature. You can also enjoy the nature from the water. The owner can provide a boat for hire. In good weather you might even see a fish eagle.
Borås as the next largest town is 48km away, Göteborg is 102km away, and there is Landvetter airport for arrivals by plane, an hour’s drive (89km) away. There are shops, restaurants, a cinema, a library and other amenities in Svenljunga or in the nearby Tranemo (21km). Other towns in the area are Borås (about 42km) or you can even visit Stockholm. The Svenljunga area invites you to go on discovery tours all around. You can enjoy the extensive nature, for example on hikes, on a boat trip or on a cycle tour. Or you can visit both well-known and lesser known places and sights. Nearby you can find a zoo or an elk park, as well as museums and leisure parks.
