2 Cedar Wax Wing is a Sea Pines Hilton Head 4 bedroom with private baths home near the South Beach area. This single level home is very spacious with two living areas and a beautiful kitchen with granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances and updated, cabinets. There is an easy flow from the kitchen to the dining area and the two living rooms.

As you walk up to the home, the inviting, private pool is at the front of the house. Upon entering the front door there is a casual living room on the left side with a large, sectional sofa. To the right of the front door is another living room, the dining room and kitchen. Two small decks can be found off of this area where you can relax after a day at the beach. The dining area has a huge wooden table with enough seating for 12 - 14. Guests will enjoy the large, open kitchen with tons of counter top space. This open living and dining area has beautiful vaulted ceilings with wood beams. The living room also features a 50 inch flat panel TV as well as a sleeper sofa for additional guests.

Off of the living area is a bedroom with a king size bed and a trundle bed with 2 twins. It has a private bath with double sinks, a separate shower and large whirlpool tub. This bedroom also has access to the front pool area. On the other side of the house, past the second living room, are the three other bedrooms. The first bedroom has a king size bed, a trundle bed with 2 twins and a French door leading to a small deck. It also has a private bath with a shower. The second bedroom also has a king size bed with a private bath with separate shower. The third bedroom has a king size bed with a door to a small deck. It has a private bath with the standard tub/shower combination. Additionally, there is a half bath off of the living area. This charming 5th row ocean home is a mere 2 or 3 minute walk to the beach. It is the perfect home for a family vacation with its open floor plan and the spacious living areas.

Fabulous week!

Can't recommend this property enough! We go to Hilton Head at least once a year (twice if we are lucky!) and this has been our favorite rental. Loved the floor plan. The kitchen was stocked with everything! Beds were comfortable and the home was spotless. Short, pretty walk to the beach. Host was very prompt to reply to any of my questions. We will book this home again!

Great house, excellent access to Sea Pines bike trails

We loved the many bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, the proximity to the Salty Dog and the fabulous bike trails of Sea Pines (with bikes rented next to the Salty Dog). It's a pleasant walk on a nearby access path to the beach, where we saw lots of dolphins (the mammalian kind), skimmers, willets, plovers - fabulous.

New Year’s Family Getaway

House had everything advertised. Comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, easy beach access and very clean. Great communication with owner whenever we had questions. Highly recommended for guests wanting to bring your dog along for some beach time.

Celebrating the Memory

Our family gathered to celebrate and honor the memory of my beloved wife who died about one year ago. I cannot envision a more beautiful setting than 2 Cedar Wax Wing. The four suites were ideal for our family and allowed private time. The two large living areas encouraged conversations. The kitchen was well-equipped and this supported holiday food preparation. A huge dining room table was excellent for dining and also provided a good place for sharing memories. All of us enjoyed the brief walk to the beach, especially after over-indulging on holiday food!Our hope in renting the facility was to create family memories and to honor my dear wife. I think everyone agreed that we achieved our goals. Thank you.

This is about the 4th time we have rented this house. It has access to the beach and a swimming pool It is on the tip of the island, so if you want to go somewhere else it is a long trip. But we keep on going back because it fits our needs with7 to 8 adults etc.

Family Trip to Sea Pines

We found the house very clean and well equipped to accommodate our family (7 adults and 1 toddler). The Sea Pines area is very nice! Plenty of restaurants and entertainment nearby. This house is a very short walk from a beautiful stretch of beach. The host was great! Doug did a great job communicating and making us feel welcome. Thank you!

This house exceeded all of our expectations! We had an amazing trip. The house was more than equipped with everything you would need and more. All of the bedrooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. All the bathrooms were spacious, clean, and provided more than enough clean towels. Our favorite aspects of the house was the location and the spacious living room/kitchen area. Highly recommend this house for you and your family next trip. Wonderful "HOME" not just a place to stay but a true home away from home. Exceptionally equipped. Bedrooms and living spaces were comfortable and the large kitchen and dining table was so nice for our "each take a night" to cook dinner then sit around to play games. Daytime or evening strolls to the beach were quick and easy. This was a huge plus. Biking to South Beach is always fun. Host is quick to return inquiries. Can't say enough good about this home rental. You will be very pleased to stay here.

Turning 90

We had a lovely stay at Sea Pines. the area is fantastic for family fun, easy walk to a beautiful beach not too crowded. the house fit 12 of us very comfortably. Kitchen was large and fully equipped. Each bedroom was nicely laid out for privacy and there were plenty of beautifully presented towels for each bathroom. Bathrooms had everything you needed including toothpaste, TP, soap and tissues. House was extremely clean. Doug was very prompt with his replies to my questions. thank you Doug for sharing your lovely home.

Perfect location-wonderful house for family trip

This is our second time at th is property. This year, we spent three weeks here--first two weeks with just the two of us and then the final week with family, including two kiddos 5 and 2 years old. You won't find a better location. It is an easy, two minute walk to the beach--a 5 minute bike ride to the Salty Dog and a 20 minute bike ride to Harbor Town. The house is comfortable and spacious--providing options for the kids to play or hang out in different areas. The kitchen is well appointed. The kids absolutely loved the (heated) pool--and in fact, named this as their favorite part of vacation. The garage is filled with LOTS of beach and pool toys--a nice and unexpected bonus. Doug is a gracious and responsive host.

Funeral gathering

Most people gather in HHI for vacation, but we gathered to remember a dear family member. This house was such a blessing to us. It was peaceful, comfortable, and had everything we needed. When I watched extended family gathered around that amazing, large dining room table- telling stories and laughing- I knew this house was special. I was genuinely amazed at how well appointed the kitchen is. The rooms all having their own bathrooms was incredibly helpful to get so many people ready to attend events. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat. Communication was excellent. Thanks for making an emotional time better.

Great extended family getaway!

This place was absolutely perfect for our extended family of 8! Spacious house with plenty of gathering space and lots of quiet bedrooms. Great location! Only a few minutes walk to the beach and an easy 15 min stroll to Salty Dog Cafe and South Beach bike rentals. Very well appointed… lots of kitchen supplies, plenty of toiletries, even an abundance of beach chairs we could use. Loved the location, layout and setup of the place. Doug was a responsive and fabulous host. We’ll definitely come back next time we can gather the family in Hilton Head. 5 Stars!! Laura Scotty
