Apartment Rio Dobra

The vacation flat lies in the village of Tornin in the township of Cangas de Onis (approx. 5km from the centre). It is located in the 1st floor of a typical Asturian country cottage together with two further apartments. ´The flat entrance can be approached without stairs also by car from the rear side of the house. This driveway can be also used as terrace.

From the cottage there is a fantastic panoramic view on the surrounding mountains. Also from the separated garden near the house that can be used by all guests.

The apartment with separate entrance can be accessed via a corridor. Left off is a sliding door with access to the bedroom including double bed with night tables, night lamps and a wardrobe. From the hallway it goes right away to the bathroom with toilet, sink, shower and storage cupboards. The bathroom is properly tiled. The shower offers plenty of space with a size of 80cm x 120 cm. All water taps are thermostatically controlled. The sliding door is located exactly opposite of the sleeping room. Straight forward the living room with fantastic view in the garden and on the nearby mountains. Right in the living room is a kitchen cabinet with small sink, small storage space and a two-plate hob. Aside is a separated fridge with a small freezer compartment. Thereof is a microwave combination. A coffee maker belongs also to the flats interior. The complete mini kitchen can be made invisible with 2 cabinet doors. Iron, clothes drying rack and hair dryer are freely available equipment. Upon agreement clothing can be washed in a separate laundry room.

In the middle of the room is the round extending table with 6 chairs. There is also a buffet with all needed cutlery and crockery for comfortable holidays. A daybed (140x200cm) for max. 2 persons is located on the left. Satellite television (Astra 19,2° E and Hotbird 13,0° E) as well as the terrestrial Spanish DVB channels offer a multilingual TV experience. A DVD player completes the multimedia set up. In the TV table, there are some cards and board games. TV can be watched as well from the daybed as well as from the table surrounding chairs. An external car park only a couple of meters away can be considered for late night parking. All flats can be accessed separately and therefore there are no hurdles for exploring the Spanish night life and everyone is mutually considerate. Also located outside the town, the cottage is very safe and until today no thefts or similar are known. The municipality of Cangas de Onis is located in eastern Asturias. The beaches at Ribadesella and the wonderful coastline of the eastern coast of Asturias is about 27km. North Cangas de Onis is adjacent to Parr and Ribadesella, to the south and Llanes Onis, in the west and Amieva Parres. The village Tornin is an ideal home for exploring the eastern Asturias, with the biosphere reservation Picos de Europa, the famous Covadonga, the protected East Coast to Llanes, Ribadesella, the Dinosaur Coast with fossilized dinosaur tracks and the unique coastal mountains of Sierra del Sueve and Sierra del Cuera. Nearby is also located the still largely pristine Redes Biosphere reservation and the reservation Peloño. This natural area is the home of the entire Astrian fauna. This includes the northern Spanish brown bear (Oso Pardo), wolves, vultures and eagles. To the salmon river Rio Sella it is only 25 meters and only 500 meters to the river Rio Dobra. Swimming in their crystal clear water is a special experience. Also fishing the rivers is a true fishing paradise. It is in the heart of the natural paradise of Asturias and it is close to the major cultural and historical treasures of Asturias in Covadonga (the main sanctuary Cueva Santa, grave Pelayo, products from the beginning of the Reconquista), Cangas de Onis (dolmen chapel and the first capital of the former Kingdom of Asturias) Llanes (medieval historical town, national monument Peña Tú).
